Heavy Bag?

I just read through the descriptions for Shock Cardio and I have a question about the heavy bag workout....do any of you actually own a heavy bag? I don't...so what kind would I get and what are the important things to know about them? This is one fitness area I have no idea about!
Thanks for the help

I own a Wavemaster free-standing heavy bag (the base is filled with water--what I did--or sand). It rolls away when I don't need it. It does move around when I hit it hard or kick it, but I either compensate by moving around the bag (hitting it back into place), or put it on a yoga sticky mat, with some heavy dumbells propped up behind it, so it moves less (I've also seen people cut a circle out of a puzzle mat that the bag fits in to reduce movement).

The other type of heavy bag you can get is a hanging bag, but you need a strong beam to hang it from (or a portable stand) and space for it.

I also have a Wavemaster free standing heavy bad. For me it was definately the way to go. I have had the same problems with it moving around that Kathryn has had, and done pretty much the same things to stop it from moving.
