heart rate question

ok, so i have got a heart monitor and i have calculated my max heart rate (i think) of 190. is my goal supposed to be to keep my heart rate 70-80% of my max throughout my workout?

No Jes, your goal is just to work hard. Odds are it will be well over 80% if you are doing anything Cathe. Don't let it cause stress though. I love my HRM, but don't take it very seriously!!! Unless of course I am overtraining, which believe me, is NOT a problem these days!!! LOL!!!
 
Hey Janice! i AM workking hard dor sure! my max is (supposedly) 190 and i stay in the 167-178 range!
