Heard the heartbeat

Yesterday I got to hear the heartbeat. It was between 152-156. She couldn't get an exact reading b/c the baby was moving all over the place. I go on May 6 for my ultrasound and I can't wait. I really think I"m having a girl so I just want to confirm. ;-) I don't care either way if it is a boy or girl. I will be really surprised though if it is a boy.

Isn't it all so exciting!?!?

I am down to looking forward to labor and delivery now! Um...should I actually be LOOKING FORWARD to this!?!? lol The thought of the pain intimidates me but then when I think of what I will have when it's over I could care less about the pain!!!:7

Ofcourse, I say that NOW...when labor actually starts I may feel differently for a little while...lol...but I know when they show me my beautiful baby none of it will matter anymore!!!:+

Wendy with my son I was terrified of the whole idea of labor. But once I got to the hospital it wasn't so bad. I had an epidural though. IMO the after experience was way worse then the birth. Nobody told me about hemmoroids and the pain from the episiotomy. (I swear that I am not trying to scare you) That was just my experience though.

I'm sure that you'll do great. And from your posts, it sounds like you've got a great DH - I'm sure he'll be a big help. My DH was NO help at all. He just stood there like a big dumb a$$. I swore he was going to pass out. LOL

How exciting Dana! Did you have an intuition the first time of what you were going to have? I have absolutely no feelings of what I am having.

I go next Monday to my second appt. and hopefully will hear the heartbeat as well. DH did not join me at the first appt. and the doctor ended up doing a vaginal u/s so he was so upset that he missed it. He is really excited about hearing the heartbeat.

Hope the time until your u/s goes by quickly!

With my son I had no idea until the U/S that he was a boy. I had a great pregnancy with him. I looked great and felt great. This time around I look horrible (hair looks awful and so does my skin) and I had the worst 1st trimester. That's why I think it is a girl.

how exciting for you!!! i love hearing the heartbeat each and every time i go to the dr. office. good luck with your u/s i hope you receive the results you are looking for!
