Me again! And a very hedonistic me it is. Continued greetings from The Big Easy. Today we have reservations for brunch at Commanders' Palace then dinner at Restaurant August. 
It's tough to be a cheap date in New Orleans! The weather cooled off dramatically - about 25 degrees - so it's chilly for the parades. You have to study the parade routes and times before you go out to shop or whatever or it may turn into an overnight expedition!! (Stock your car with food and water and wine). (Actually, there is plenty of booze on the parade routes, so don't bother stocking the car...) Went fast-walking yesterday around the garden district for an hour instead of the Loyola gym. Must now enter a life of extreme austerity to make up for this extreme hedonism!
Also wanted to add that I scored the cutest clothes at Target yesterday - Izhac Mizrahi black crepe wide leg pants and matching cowl-neck sleeveless top on sale for practically nothing. The size 2 pants are a perfect fit and the top is cut just right. I'm jazzed about wearing them to brunch and dinner today and spending the day dressed up after working out. A very rare thing for this South Texas girl!:7 :7 Wish I had a cool hat...
