Healthy Eating 9/20/04

Looks like noone checked in on the weekend. Saturday was good but Sunday I had a bit too much ice cream, but today is a new day.

4:15 am - spinerval workout (uphill grind)

Br - two veggie quiches

s - cheese sticks

l - meat crust pizza (leftover from weekend) instead of using dough you brown hamburger and mix it with mozzarella cheese and spread out like a dough then top with tomato sauce and your favorite toppings then bake. Actually turned out pretty good.

s - walnuts

d - chicken and asparagus

Weighed in on Saturday and lost 3 pounds, yippee!!!!

Yeah, just don't let's talk about the weekend!!!! x(
But it's a new week, so let's start healthy :)

3:30 am - Leaner Legs and PUB without the core work
and it's already starting to kick my butt

Protein shake
Bran-A-Crisp with a piece of cheese
Atkins Blueberry Cereal with Strawberries
Protein shake
Trail mix
Salad with chicken and beef
Some kinda fruit for dessert

Hi Rhonda (and everyone else too)

Had a bit of a naughty day on Saturday - Chinese...BUT had healthy options: egg foo yung and vegetables.

Did Body Max yesterday (my legs were jelly by the end) and Imax2 today.

Eating wise today:

Fresh vegetable juice: carrots, broccoli & apple
Water melon
Quinoa (& spoonful of mayo) & apple
Tin of pineapple in juice
Dr Gillian McKeith Energy bar
Oat cakes x2
Pork chop, broccoli, cauli & gravy

2 litres water & herbal tea

Weighed myself Sunday - and wish I'd not - put 3lbs on...but hoping it's muscle cos clothes still feel loose!

Saturday night...too much to drink...too much to eat. Too much to eat Sunday...and today...too much to eat :(

Oh well, back on track tomorrow.

Wow....the weekend was not good for anyone...:)....me neither, at least not Sunday. I had run a half marathon sunday morning and was wiped out when I got home...:(...I did have some vegey chili but to lazy to make a salad and then a couple of Michelob Ultras...so yes...today is a new day!

I am starting my 2nd P90X rotation with Core Synergistics and probably some shoulder work. My quads are too sore for any leg work...:)

But while we at it:
I had Olive Garden (Italien Restaurant)on Saturday plus dessert! Yummy!!!:9
... and tamales yesterday! Yummy too! :9

But I am glad that I am back on track today!!! :)
 
Wayne...I really do like it! I find it makes my entire core feel completely worked out. Although I do kinda run out of room with those banana to superman rolls, and I am not sure the added giggling is helpful...:)...but, you will find you do like some of the P90X workouts better than others...I am happy you finally got it!...Carole
 
Hi Ladies & Wayne! Saturday wasn't feeling too good sinuses acting up & weather here in NY was AWFUL!!! Poured for most of the day so eating wasn't up to snuff. I did, however Supersets 3 sets lower body premix (forgot to work my abs oh well). Just ate a mini whole wheat bagel w/cream cheese w/coffee; lunch roast beef sandwich & salad & dinner was turkey/cheese omelet w/salad & wine. Sunday went out for brunch w/girlfriend & had veggie omelet w/toast & coffee & for brunch had a chicken/asparagus/cheese crepe w/a cinnamon roll/mimosa & chocolate hazelnut capuccino!!!!! Woo Hoo! Dinner was 4 oz. flank steak w/carrots. Too stuffed but had some more wine! Ha! Oh well maybe I'll do better next weekend but you only live once!
My workout was Supersets 3 sets premix upper body & abs.

Wayne: I like Core Syn you gotta love those supermans/banana rolls especially when Tony speeds it up!!! Too funny! Have a good day everyone! Kathy:D
