Have you ever?

Have you ever started one of Cathe's weight-loss rotations and the first week you were not able to lose anyting but hopefully things went on and got better for you? I'm just starting a weight-loss routation and the first week is a bust but I've noticed sometimes I start out like that. Anyone else have that happen?
 
Absolutely. Fat loss and muscle gain does not happen overnight for me (unlike my husband...grrr ;) ). In fact, when I first start a heavy weight rotation, I often gain a few pounds. It comes off eventually.
 
it may take up to 4 weeks of a new workout regimen to see results. don't get discouraged and just keep working at it. I'm sure you will start to see some results soon. Also, instead of weighing yourself, take body measurements. You will see changes there quicker than you might on the scale. good luck!
 
thanks your right, I'd almost forgotten that measurements are a good indicator of what's going on, it's the end of the first week and I may not notice a difference on the skill but my body feels much better. Besides the achiness, but gotta get used to that with a new workout. Thanks again.
