I just did and am a bit suprised. Ok, maybe not since I bought those cheap hex dumbells from Wallyworld. But still. I used my Escali postage type scale I use to weigh food portions. Here is what I found for anyone curious:
5 lb = 5 lb 3 oz & 5 lb 2.5 oz
8 lb = 8 lb 2 oz & 8 lb .5 oz
10 lb = 10 lb 1 oz & 10 lb 3 oz
15 lb = 15 lb 4 oz & 15 lb 4 oz
20 lb = 20 lb 7.5 oz & 20 lb 1.5 oz - Huh
25 lb = 25 lb 2 oz
(I have 2 of each weight dumbell except for the 25)
And most suprising of all is that one of my 10 Paceweights is 8.5 oz.
