1. DIL is bringing food <-- can eat, so <-- can avoid SIL's cooking
2. There will be lots of nice people there so <-- can avoid spending too much time with SIL

<-- is planning to take the boys to a friend's house for Thanksgiving dinner <--'s friend has been cooking since 5 am
