Hiya!!
I've been busy, busy, busy, this morning, and I just got off the phone with a friend who wanted to go out to lunch today. No way can do!! I have so much to do before our trip (I still don't even know for sure IF I'm going) that I don't know how I'll get it all done.
I need to go shopping in the worst way. I don't have anything nice to wear for warm weather months. All of my spring/summer clothes are faded, ripped, or stretched out. So far I've only been able to get to the mall one day and I came home empty handed. I actually cried all the way home because I couldn't find anything. We don't have many nice places to shop around here. We're getting a Nordstrom's but not until fall of 2009:-( . I'm planning to hit the mall again on Thursday -- the only day I'll be able to make it this week. Wish me luck -- I need it desperately.
Did I mention that I did Kick Max last night? LMAO!! I look absolutely ridiculous trying to kick box. I must say I like the leg drills in that workout, but OMG are they ever hard! I couldn't do all the reps and I sure as hell couldn't lift my legs as high as Cathe. Today I'm planning to do GS BSB.
So far I'm doing well with the 7 day clean eating challenge. I made a tiny slip up yesterday but I didn't let it derail me for the rest of the day. My meals are planned for the day and I've already been to the grocery store. I'm working on Mt Washmore while I wait for the guy to come and repair my reverse osmosis drinking water system -- we need to have the tank pressurizedx(
Okay, enough about me.
Jen, I hope you're still feeling good. It sounds like you got a decent workout in yesterday. How on earth do you manage to do 200 jumping jacks? Do you do them all at once or in sets? I think that would kill my knees. I've heard a lot about the Slim Series but I have no clue what it is. Who's the instructor and what kind of workouts are included?
Diane, when does your DH expect to hear about that job? Oh gosh, the waiting would kill me. I'm so impatient about stuff like that. I'm glad you have a fun day to look forward to at work today.
Robin, I had major DOMS after PLB. I've done both the up and the down premixes and I think I like the down better. I can go heavier with the down. With the up premix I was tired out by the time we got to the heavier weight and I had to go lighter or do fewer reps.
I WISH I had something to pack ;( . I think you and I NEED vacations something awful! I've been pretty down in the dumps lately and I know you have, too. I'm struggling here, really. I'm trying to be perky and up beat but I'm not feeling it. I've barely seen DH since he got home. He slept all night Saturday and most of Sunday. Sunday night we took the IL's to dinner, and yesterday he didn't get home from work until after 10PM. I haven't had any quality time with my DH in over 2 weeks:-( . We haven't had time to talk about this trip. In fact, we don't have any reservations anywhere once his meeting is over, and we're supposed to leave next week. I feel like the whole thing is in limbo.
