Thought I'd start us since I've been an MIA hater lately. Just haven't had much energy with all that is going on...for those of you who don't know-

Was sick Mon & Tues, actually got sick Sun night & was up all night, long story short realized had lots of blood in my urine around 3AM so went to doc the next day. Some sort of infection, I think it's kidney b/c I've had many UTI's in the past & wasn't anything like that.

Next, found out that kitty doesn't belong to my neighbors, we've been talking about 2 diff cats this whole time!!! So, spent Wed night getting her into garage (with a trail of chicken) & took her to the vet Thurs morn. Picked her up after work yesterday & she is inside now...fixed, has her shots, everything, only cost about $350!!! She also had an infection that needed treated & had them test her for everything before bringing inside around my two cats. So far it's okay, not doing APL today so I can stay home with the 3 monsters.

Oh, and found out yesterday they also found Ecoli in my urine! Feeling okay though, today was tough to make myself w/o but since I took Mon, Tues, Fri off I had too. I did 4DSKB, 1/2 standing B&G, & all floor B&G. Think tomorrow will be Drill max...

So, I will try to BBL if anyone is around, sorry to be so self absorbed. :(

Great to hear from you. You have stories to tell so it's good to share. Sorry about all those bad things happening. Ecoli and kidney infections together are not good at all, glad you went to the docs. Don't push yourself to workout, while still on meds, give yourself time to heal.

And, hope you monsters are getting along. When a new one comes along, there might be territory issues plus your other cats may not want to share you with the new one. My cats, when younger, had severe medical issues on top of Adrian, who had a kidney issues. I know how expensive pets can be.

Hope you and your cats get healthy and stay that way!!
 
Hey Jennifer! How is the weather in MI? It is cold & rainy here, high today about 42 & haven't seen the sun but for maybe 20 minutes & it's been drizzling rain ALL day. What workouts are you doing this weekend? How are your babies doing?

Things are going pretty good here so far. Sport is not happy & growls & hisses at kitty but so far no fights... he isn't happy with me either but is doing better than I thought. Kitty is doing better too than expected. She is already roaming around & is sleeping at the end of the hallway right now. For a while I'll have her in the laundry room (very big) at night & when I'm gone for her safety. She has her own litter box, food/water bowl, kitty house, and toys in there.

Now... I need a name for her, guess I'll stick with the "s" theme... I kind of like Sassy but Chad doesn't. Sugar is okay but for some reason doesn't seem right... any suggestions? I kind of like Saki & Stoli... ??

We have the same weather pattern as you do. The weather channel alway says "next week it'll get warmer," but next week never comes.

It might help you switch her toys with the others so they can get use to and eventually like each other's scent. Plus, to see each other reqularly in a controlled setting. Baby your others in front of her so they won't feel violated.

How about "Sushi"? or my old cat's name was Souki-Aki, for short, she was called Suesue. Or, Savannah? I had my boy's names picked out long before I got them, for some reason, they fit. If Seville fits, use it to-in Spain it's pronunced Sa-VE-Ah. So, I went with the masculine Italian for him.

Looking forward to hearing about your insane weekend.

This past week, we had lots of police on my street. Come to find out, a neighbour who has been in foreclosure since Oct. refused to leave her home so they bought in the cops with the canine unit cause she has big mean dogs.

I ate alot today at Sundance Grille, I even had dessert after my brunch. Not worried about the calories today.
