HATE WHILE YOU STILL CAN! LOL - July 18

August

Cathlete
Morning!

Yikes! I just read Michele's post about the site going under construction tonight....but I see it's still on....I wonder if this post will become lost...anyway, it seems like they hope to take only a day or so (?), so let's keep our fingers crossed that that's true!

Sorry I didn't come by yesterday. I suddenly decided to take mom into town for lunch, hair, shopping, and dinner. When I got home, I played with the squirrels and then washed up and was just too pooped to get online.

I got tons of layers in my hair, and even though it is still quite long, it looks different, so I'm so happy! Man, I was so sick of that long, heavy hair!

Today I HAVE to work. I'm feeling unsettled about it, but at least my hair looks good.

I finished up some cardio and upper work and now I'm off!

JENNIFER - Any Troy news? What do you suppose made you feel like not calling? Was he being too persistent?

>Today, I got two huge sets of wildflowers for my hill and a huge box full of goat manure in exchange for 5 quarts of Ben & Jerry's on sale.

LOL. What a great sentence. I don't suppose it would be very good promotional marketing for Ben & Jerry's.

>I said Troy appears to be rather controlling. Jeff confirmed that plus talked about how intense he was

Well what do you expect? His name is Troy! LOL. No, but really, that's too bad that it isn't turning out to be something a little more exciting. By the sounds of it, you probably shouldn't be looking for a second date with the guy.

MICHELE - Urgh, modems! Is it all figured out now and you're not having trouble?

I'm glad to hear you're feeling a little better, and that Sean is helping you. I hope you'll be over that dang pain soon. Holding off on the kettlebell sounds like a wise idea. I still haven't made my internet order for the kettlebells yet. I think I'm still scared of the idea of getting an 8kg one LOL.

>By the way, that mango sundae looked delicious and made a beautiful presentation! I love mangos -- they're so refreshing. I'd've paid $30 in Monopoly money for that -- LMAO!!!

LOL! Let me add that I was treating someone to a parfait, so the grand total was about $45 -- for two parfaits!! I was livid though my mouth was quite pleased LOL.

ROBIN -

>She showed my what she calls mangos - kind of small, oval and very yellow. The ones we get here come from South America and are larger and greenish red. Do you have the smaller ones?

There are a couple kinds that I've seen here. One kind are those larger greenish red ones (those ones are really expensive), and then there is another kind that is sort of flat and bright yellow. I'm not sure I know the small one, though the flattish one I mentioned is very yellow. I love mangos.

Hey, did you know that the seeds in papayas are edible? Just thought I'd throw that in.

>running in a 5K on the beach at Kitty Hawk

Oh wow, run or walk, I'll bet it will be beautiful and lots of fun! You're so active. I'm envious of you!

DANA -

>No wonder we don't do family stuff all that often b/c it was quite stressful.

LOL. I know. Why on earth is that?

I haven't had a gyro for AGES!

>They also stuff too much into the pita so I ended up wearing 1/2 of it.

OMG, LMAO.

>It is supposed to be in the mid-90's tomorrow so I told my boys that I'd take them swimming. Now Gabe doesn't want to go to our local pool b/c some boys were picking on him on Saturday. Kids are so cruel.

Urgh. I'm so glad I'm not in school anymore with those meanies. Please tell Gabe that I know he's totally cool so try not to mind them. The State Park sounds like a very fun alternative!

Okay, I've got to post while I still can!

Sorry no emoticons and see you guys soooooon! :* :* :*
