Good morning,
Well, as good as it can be knowing there is no protein powder in your home.

And not knowing when the delivery will come.

I'm going to have to put my workouts to a complete stop until The Powder gets here.

I've got all 4 monsters today and I've noticed their spazzy behavior has really calmed down in the last couple weeks. Of course that has me all worried - is it the food? Too much dry? Not enough dry? Not enough food in general? Am I mixing too much water with the wet? Is my apartment too warm? Are they too old to run around now? Is my protein powder coming today?
They seem to be eating and sleeping normally (more on the sleeping) and nobody seems to be sick....but I'm glad I have them all day so I can make sure everybody really is doing their #2 Business. One down, three guys to go.
That reminds me. Cham, who happens to be the one done with her #2, hates to have her feetsies in the litter. So she'll balance on the sides of the now hoodless box, with only one hind foot propping her whole body up. It looks ridiculously cute.
But where does she have to stand? Right ONTOP of the start button to the automatic litter box LOL. A couple times she tried to go to the bathroom (over the course of a week), and she pushed the START button by mistake, making the rake come out, much to her surprise http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/confused/confused0066.gif After the 2nd time she did that, I ended up deciding to unplug the thing.
On the time she went to do her business after I'd unplugged it, she went and sat in front of the box and meowed a bunch. "I need to go to the bathroom, Mr. Litter Box. Is Mr. Rake settled down right now?....I'm coming in! I'm...I'm coming in now!" After a long conversation, she finally decided it was safe, and from then all is going well. Except that the automatic box is off now.
But no problems. http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/rolleye/rolleye0014.gif
I've got a (non-Caribbean) Sweet Potato & Bean Stew in Miss Crock! YES!
And I'm thinking it's time to go get the makings for some vegetarian Sloopy...maybe I'll pick up something extra to go with Mom's portion, since, if I remember clearly, and I'm fairly certain I do, her comment after her first bite of Sloop was, "You know what would taste good in this? Bacon."

Okay, today is my day off working out (really. Really.). I'm going to go water Oogi's plants and then get to work.
JENNIFER - Good to hear your foot is doing better. What's going on with our sleep here? Is nobody in Hatersville sleeping properly?
>Seville was acting crazy a minute ago, and now he's gone.
LOL!
DANA - Woo woo on your workouts!
>I have it ready to go in the DVD player, like that's an incentive. LOL
LOL!
How was your pizza? When I eat pizza, I can eat an entire head of lettuce.
>I didn't tell you guys, I kicked my work coffee habit.
I can see how a huge bug in your work coffee would inspire cold-turkey. LOL.
>It is black with white paw prints on it and it says, "Coffe & Dog Hair, I Never Leave Home Without Either of Them"
LMAO. How's Ralphie's skin these days?
SHANNON -
>when is that protein powder supposed to arrive? You'll be buried in the stuff before long!
I have no idea when that stuff is supposed to get here and it's driving me nuts! I do plan to be up to my gills in it when it gets here, though.
I once tried putting whey protein in my oatmeal and it tasted so disgusting...but I keep reading about people putting it in and it tasting to delicious, so I'm going to have to try that out again.
I hope you're enjoying your weekend (no homework, I hope?) and that your hips are all good and stretched out.
MICHELE - You, too? No sleep? What on earth is going on?! I took a nap yesterday around 5:30pm and when I woke up at 6:15pm, I was sooo disoriented, it took me a few moments to figure out what was going on LOL. It was a good, deep nap, and I thought it was going to make for difficult sleep tonight, but thankfully I was wrong!
I hope you were able to get some sleep, too.
>Johnny just recently started sleeping on my pillow right next to my head, and sometimes he licks my eyelids or chews my hair. It's so funny, but I LOVE it when he's purring right next to my ear. I find it very soothing.
That's really so cute that he licks your eyelids and chews your hair. Awww, he's grooming his Mommy! Yes, I also find it really soothing to have Mooch purring away next to my ear.
He has a system - first he'll come up and tap my shoulder a few times so that I'll put my arm out. Then he'll plop down (and I do mean plop LOL) on my extended arm facing me, and then five seconds later he'll start his kneading process which will inspire me to happily pet him. Then after he's drooled sufficiently, he'll stand up with a really sleepy face and shift left and right, back and forth for a second, then he'll plop back down on my extended arm, but in the crook of my armpit facing away from me to fall into purring sleep. It's adorable.
All right, thanks everyone for making me want to eat pizza. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/angry051.gif
Have a great weekend!
