Gooooooood LAWWWWD!
The internet service that I'm borrowing from somebody in my building is totally irritating!! It was great the first day I was here, then weak, then I'd have to go out into the hallway to pick up a line, and then I totally couldn't get online....and now today it's really strong.
What is up with that?!
So I'm taking this opportunity to post.
I have a biggish gig tonight so I'm taking it easy while my friends bear with the heat. Today I brushed everybody's fur (while they were sleeping LOL) and for the first time, gave them some kitty toothpaste to lick off the kitty toothbrush. It was a big hit. Mooch even started chewing on the toothbrush to see if he could somehow squeeze out some more paste from somewhere LOL. Yoyo wanted more paste and went up to Chami who was licking her toothbrush and boy, did she get p'd off! She put both of her paws on top of Yoyo's head to stop him from getting any closer, and with the toothbrush sticking out of her mouth, she made her angry face and let out a really mean grrrrrrrrrdon't you freakin even THINK about taking my paste, Yoyo rrrrrrrrrRRRRRR! I wish I had had my camera handy.
All right. I'd better get.
Have a great weekend!
BECKY - I can see how Cleo, who is above toys, would also be way above baths LOL. I have no idea how baths are going to go over with these four. I get the feeling their not going to be thrilled...although yesterday when I took a shower, since my Mom's shower is one that is not in a tub (it's just a shower), I allowed them in the room and let them watch the water come out of the shower head. They were really interested in it, and kept their eye on the water movement. It was cute.
Congrats on further progress on your roof, and I hope you got some good sleep!
ROBIN - Luckily, I had two spare towels, so my friends don't have to share that either. So far all is going great! Hey, you must be on the road trip right now? I can't wait to hear about it!
DANA - I'm so glad that it's Ralphie's last dip! He must be excited! How cute to brush his teeth and give him baths. He must LOVE you! The squirrels are almost of age to take baths LOL. I'm already fairly scratched up just from playing with them...even though I do trim their nails!
Ooh, the photo is fantastic!! Your boys are so handsome. And Ralphie is a little nut darling! No more mites, yay!
ARISTA - 45 min of KPC leaving you sore does not mean that you are out of shape, sheeeesh! Good for you.
My friends are staying for a week and a half, so they'll leave a few days after your birthday. And LOL, yes, I am slave to my Nintendo DS Lite. With a pink poodle - gawd, you make it sound so froofy and cheesey! That poodle happens to be a very good hair stylist and the best in the village.
MICHELE - Wow, your DN is getting the royal treatment! Pirates! What's next!
>You think you're fat! Well, I'm fat AND I have high blood pressure! Let's see if you can top THAT! LMAO!
LMAO. Oh SHUSH!
I can't seem to find anyone who brushes their kitty's teeth..except for a guy I know here who says it's a cinch, thank you very much. Hmm. Well, I bought the tiny brushes, so I may as well continue to try.
How awful that must have been to have Johnny's two teeth pulled, poor guy. But that's great that he feels so much better and is in such a better mood.
>Post some squirrel pics, please!
LMAO! I'll see what I can do.
DIANE - That is truly incredible about your cat figuring out how to get into your bedroom. How cute. You should set up a camera and film her in action.
Congrats on finishing your project!
JEN - Thanks for the detail about brushing teeth and bathing. That dental story sounded awful. How could you have known it would affect your kitty like that? Urgh. I'm really going to try to give the brushing a shot.
And I'll try the bathing, too. Kinda scared. We'll see. How cute about CJ. My guys are medium hair, but I've been brushing them daily. I mostly do all the grooming I can while they um,...sleep. LOL.
SHELLEY -
>Sounds like those squirrels have stolen your heart
They've pretty much stolen the entire apartment LOL. There is no place sacred anymore. Like, I practically have to eat standing up if I want to keep my food to myself. I won't even tell you how hard it is to open up a can of cat food and divvy it up into four bowls balancing it on the microwave LOL.
All right. I'll talk to you guys later!
