Whew, I'm glad I'm only a pseudo-hater. I'd hate to have that patrolman pull me over. Oops, maybe I am a hater.

Goodmorning August. How's it fishing? Now, what is the appropriate answer to THAT question? I guess it's fishing OK. I have to work today, but have tomarrow off. I'm planning a marathon chore day in preparation for vacation. I have to pack, do laundry and clean the house. I know, I know, why are you cleaning if you are leaving? DD, DGS and a friend who will be babysitting will be staying. Did we ever find out why you needed so much kitty litter? How's your mom?

Michele, will you be around today? Seems to me I remember seeing a post mentioning a couple days off for your DH. Enjoy your time together.

Shelley, how was HP? I can't wait for the next book.

Oh, forgot to post what workout I'm hating today. I'm not really sure yet. Every part of me seems tired and achy today. If I do anything, it will be some kind of step. I guess I'll have to wait and see how I feel after work.
 
AUGUST!!!!! You're OK??? I saw on the news this morning that Tokyo had one heck of an earthquake and some tsunamis (is that spelled right?). I just got to work but wanted to log on here first to see if you are ok. Thank God!!!!! Yeah, do you have anything to report on the kitty litter??? You're so secretive. ;-)

Robin, when do you leave for vacation??? I"m jealous! Yes, Michele did say that her DH got off work Mon/Tues. I hope that they have a fabulous time doing whatever they end up doing. I forgot to tell you that I love your new avatar pic. You're so darn cute!!!

Ralpie seems to be doing ok. I'm doing all this research on the internet to see how I can boost his immune system b/c that is one reason why he got the mange. Puppies don't have a strong immune system until they are at least 12 months. Diet has plays a great role and if you're not willing to feed a raw diet then the best kibble should be given. So after much research I find that one of the best kibble is called Timberwolf which is an American made, organic dog food. I found a local place that sells it, grabbed a 33lb bag and near died when the clerk told me how much my bill was, are you ready, $55.11. And yes, I bought it. I am so in love with this little guy that I am willing to spend an insane amount of money for his dogfood. Then I bought him vitamins, giving him one garlic clove a day and still need to get some fish oil capsules for him. Call me crazy I guess!!!

Have you ever been to Lake Tobias in Halifax? My mom and I took the boys there on Saturday. Gannon LOVED it. I never saw a boy who loves animals like he does. At one point, in the petting zoo, he laid on the ground with a goat. I wished I remembered to take my camera.

How is Shelley, Jen, Jana, Becky and Diane this morning???? I'll try to check back in later.

Did anyone watch Rock of Love on VH1 last night? OMG, what a riot. I'll admit, I'm hooked to VHI's mindless reality shows.

Morning Dana. Thanks for the compliment. I think I'm going to use that picture for the RT book. I'm glad Ralphie is doing well. Isn't it ridiculous what we spent on our pets? Does he have garlic breath now? I never heard of Lake Tobias. Maybe we'll have to take Greyor there someday.

I have a few minutes to post since DH went for a walk...without me http://planetsmilies.net/not-tagged-smiley-10238.gif . So here's the story. We slept in late. DH went downstairs to make coffee. A few minutes later he hollered upstairs that he was gong for a walk. So then about 10 minutes later the phone rings. It's DH...out walking with his cell phone...he wanted to know if I would like to go out for breakfast -- ROTFLMAO!! I asked him if he was sure he wanted me to go along since, after all, he apparently didn't want my company on the walk. He said that he wanted to get going before it got hot outside and, since I was still in bed, he decided to just go by himself instead of waiting around for me to get ready. Guess what else? He...he plans to drag me to the...the...I'm not even sure I can say it...the muh...muh...musty, mildewy, godforsaken hell hole:eek: ;( . He's going to try to get Friday off and he wants to leave for the MMGHH (musty, mildewey, godforsaken hell hole, AKA his parents lake cottage) Thursday after work. There's no internet connection up there ;( x( :-( ;( x( :-( ;( x( :-(

August - can you send the patrolman over to my house to pick up my DH. There must be something on the books that forbids a DH from chronically driving his wife crazy.

So what's going on with the weather in japan. I haven't seen any news all weekend so I didn't know about the earthquake. Be safe, kay?

Robin - so when do you leave for your vacation and when will you be back? Where you going again? some beachy place, right? I hope you have a blast!

Dana - my doggies always had to be on prescription food so I hear you about the cost. I don't even want to think about what we spent on pet care. How many dips does Ralphie have to have? I was looking at your picture trail again and y'all are so darn CUTE!! ALL of ya!

Dana - man that is some expensive doggie food! But I understand wanting to do anything for you pets.

Michele - I hope you can survive in the hell hole without internet. sounds aweful.

Oh man I feel aweful today. Just tired and lightheaded and not wanting to be at work. I have a really busy week this week at work - I have to finish a huge project by Friday. This would have been hard enough pre-pregnancy and I would have barely finished, so I can't imagine how I will get it done now that I am brain dead and tired all the time. :(

This weekend I had my first baby shower! It was fun, though there was some family drama involved. It was thrown by my SIL and DH's cousin and it was just the ladies from DH's side of the family and my mom (about 10 people total). It was at an Italian restaurant and the food was sooo yummy. Anyway, DH's aunt has an 8 year old and a 14 month old and everyone agrees she is a terrible mother, I mean terrible. My SIL (who is a kindergarten teacher) was getting so mad and frustrated with her b/c of her horrible parenting and there was a semi-big fight about it during the shower. But I got lots of great gifts and it was a good time besides the drama. I will post some pictures when my mom sends them too me.
 
Diane - sorry to hear about the drama. For Pete's sake (who is Pete really :p ), it was your day, they should've respected that. I'm glad you got lots of nice things. You have what, 3 more??? Lucky girl. Hope you get your project done soon.

Michele - you go to that cottage for some R&R and that is that!!!!! I think it actually sounds like fun. Well, fun as long as there aren't any critters lurking in the cabin. HA! Your DH sounds like quite the character. Enjoy breakfast!!! Thanks for the compliment on the family. I wanted to take some more pics yesterday but the digi didn't work.

I think that when Augie Doggie is MIA she should have her mom post. Can you imagine an August #2???? Since we're haters, our #1 topic is not working out, so who cares if Augie's mom isn't into fitness. I imagine she's got to be as crazy as Aug, right?

Who has the b-day list? I forgot to make a copy of it. August's b-day is coming up in Aug right?????

I am so busy and I don't feel like working. :(
 
Diane, I'm glad the shower was fun, in spite of the crazy family thing. I went to a shower for a co-worker last Friday and had a good time. She got lots of gift cards to Walmart.

Michele. Oh no!!!! Not the MMGHH!!!! I'm ROTFLMAO. I leave Friday for vacation. We'll be staying in Chesapeake, VA with my SIL and spending most of our time on VA Beach. We will head to NC to visit our very good friends from college (yikes! that was 30 years ago!) for a few days. Then we head back to VA for a day or two, then home on Aug 1. I don't know if I'll be near a computer or not. Everyone has one, but DH hates it when I ask if I can get on it.

Dana, I googled Lake Tobias. I can't believe I never heard of it. I never did comment on your post about Hershey. They get you coming and going, don't they. I used to work there, but that was 30 years ago and it's much bigger now.

ROBIN - Hello there, cleaning in preparation for vacation is good cleaning. That's good, fun cleaning. Will you be wearing a pink bathing suit on this vacation? I think you should. Pink suits you very well.

The kitty litter? Well............All right. I'll come clean. But just to you guys, and just briefly.....yes. There is a cute foursome now using the litter!!! And they seem to like it quite well, thankfully! They're my little honeybuns! I've been rather elusive about it since,...well,...I hate hate hate breaking any kind of rule, and I sort of kind of didn't ask anybody if it was all right to adopt them....so I figured if I didn't really talk about them, then it would be sort of all right.

See? I already feel guilty writing that LOL.

Mom's great, thanks for asking. She's got two of the four and now she never goes out! LOL.

DANA - Yes, I'm okay! Thank you and sorry to worry you about the earthquake. It was another pretty big one - over 6 in Niigata. It's aways from Tokyo, but I definitely felt it. It was slow and sway-y and seemed to last ages.

Oh, Ralphie is going to love the new food and he's going to get so healthy thanks to it. I know how that premium food costs. Not that I have any pets to buy it for, right? LOL.

How cute of Gannon and his love for animals. I'd totally be there on the dirt with him!

I think the next bday is Becky's...and she'd better show up for it! LOL. And yes, mine is in August. I guess that's easy to remember LOL.

As for my Mom, she's a total bullet walker and is super healthy. She was always doing aerobics while I was growing up, so that probably rubbed off on me (finally...er, occasionally LOL). I'm sure she'd love to post...if she could figure out how to log on LMAO.

MICHELE - Your post cracked me up!! And those icons cracked me up!! Your DH cracks me up!! Actually, I know you might not be with me on this one, but I think it's pretty cool that he didn't want to wake you from your sleep, and how romantic to call you to ask you out for breakfast! Oh man, that icon with the guy putting his hands up in the air totally cracks me up.

Lake cottage? Hell hole? It's not a romantic lake cottage? When I hear lake cottage, I think romantic getaway. Not hell hole. No wait. Now I'm imagining mildew. And worse yet, no internet. He better not be taking you from us for very long.

The weather in Japan has been wacky. It's usually quite hot and humid by this time, but it's been hot, humid, cold, rainy, sunny...everything. And suddenly. Just weirdness.

DIANE - Why are family things always full of drama? LOL. Well, I'm glad it was a good get-together for your first shower, and that the food rocked. Feel better and good luck with your project!

You got 4 kittens? Two for you and two for Auggiemom? Details! We need details! We don't care if you're breaking any rules. We won't turn you in. Besides, you have to tell someone or someday the truth will just come burbling up out of you at an inoppurtune time. (Insert a burbling smilie face here) I wonder what exactly a burbling smilie face would look like. I'm sure if there is one to be found, you or Michele will find it. I had a very strange weekend. Very odd indeed. And not in a good, odd way. In an "okay, I'd like a do-over" kind of way.
