HATE- OCT 3rd

JenL13

Cathlete
Hey haters! I am not able to sleep once again, ugh! I am going to do Burn It Up this morning in a few then do the floor work of GS Legs & BM2 Upper body this evening before heading to either Chad's for dinner or out to eat, haven't decided what we're doing yet. Luckily the last few nights I have been able to sleep more than usual so I'm actually feeling pretty good for 4AM! I'm sure I'll be tired later but maybe I can catch a 30min cat nap if I have time before heading out for dinner...

Robin- Which Barry did you do? I have done the legs & butt and shoulder & back one, I really liked the legs/butt and also thought the shoulder/back was pretty good, they are more high rep/low weight which is perfect for me since I gain muscle very easily. I was going to get P90X but think I changed my mind now that I have Barry's and I'm sure that I'd look like a linebacker if I did P90X!

Michele- How was the deskunking appointment? I'm glad you like P90... I really like Plyo Legs & Cardio Intervals. Actually I think I'll put Cardio Intervals on my rotation this week, maybe tomorrow or Friday then I could add another 30min cardio or lower body with it. Have you done it yet? I personally think the w/u is too long so I like to do it after doing another 30 min workout so I can just do the actual cardio part & save some time.

Dana- Hope your days are going by quick at least... being that busy stinks but I know when I'm busy like that the days go by fast. Happy b-day to Gannon, wow 2 already!!! Enjoy your day off Friday & that is wonderful that you are taking some time for yourself, you deserve it more than anyone!!!

Jennifer- That is GREAT news about your tests! So, what is David up to? Do you guys make plans for this weekend? What makes you think that Nick ran into at his reunion?? DM is my all time favorite workout, just love, love, love it!! I also love HSTA but can't do it too much b/c of my thunder thighs! :p

Diane- I really hope you're not still in labor, can't wait to hear from you & see pics!

August- WHERE ARE YOU??????????????? You are missed when you aren't here.... x( x( x(

Okay, well I may go lay in bed & watch fox news for about 30 min before I head to workout... BBL!

Good Morning Haters.

My babies, Seville and Madrid, greeted me this AM with a big, skinny hairy mouse. It is now amongst nature where I'm sure another creature will get it. David, supposively has been busy. Nick, who was consistant this time and before, hasn't been on Match for awhile. Call it a gut feeling but those are usually correct. I believe he ran into an old girlfriend.

Ok, so tonight I will be doing DM. Seville is there as support, Madrid is normally on the porch.

Have a Great Day Everyone!

Morning haters. Just a quick hello before I start rifting through files. Blech!!!

Jen - Oh how I wish I was able to be up and alert at 4:00am, maybe then I'd be able to get in some more workouts. For dinner tonight I'm making my own version of that sun dried tomatoe chicken in the crock pot. I'll let you know how it is. I didn't have white wine so I added some x-tra chicken broth, I didn't brown the chicken in olive oil either, didn't have the time. I also put in 2 cubed potatoes. Well, the more that I think of it, I really didn't follow the recipe at all. If it is good, I'll give you my recipe. I only used 2 small boneless chicken breasts so it will serve two (or in my case one adult and 2 children).

Jennifer - are you and David going to go out again? Was Nick another guy you met on Match? Gotta love the gifts that your kitties bring you. Ha!

Morning to everyone else. I better get to work. Have a nice day everyone.

Hey guys, I'm here!

Sorry I haven't been able to drop by. What's going on with Diane? I'll bet you we're cyber Aunts. She must be resting. And we must be cyber Aunts.

Woo hoo!

It's turned out to be a rather busy week. I won't say it's a continuation of Belchdom because that is now over,.........but I had a little bout of "This-kitty-food-doesn't-agree-with-any-of-the-four-kitties-let's-all-throw-up-all-day-all-over-the-place"-dom.

It's funny, when you haven't had your carpet cleaned in years and then you clean one spot, it becomes so clean that the rest of your carpet looks awful. You know what I'm talking about here? I think Cham and Mooch together must have thrown up about a dozen times. So my carpet is very clean in a dozen places. Then there's the pasta stain from last month. It's very artistic-looking.

Anyway, the squirrels are all all right now, but it was just awful, and I felt so bad for them. The cat food was called Felidae and is supposed to be extremely healthy....it's a bummer it didn't agree with them.

I also ended up having to go to the emergency vet tonight. I'm LOL just from the pitiless of it all! Part of the metal from Cham's cast had peeked out and had started cutting into the top of her hand. It was just awful, too. Now her entire arm and hand are in the cast. She seems to feel more comfortable now, thank goodness, and the cast comes off the day after tomorrow, yay!

The vet at the emergency room was someone Cham and I met for the first time. She seemed nice and I felt comfortable with her....except for this annoying habit she had of starting off every sentence with : "Animals can't talk and tell us how they feel, so....."

I was getting ready to smack her one LOL.

And now for BRIGHTER HAPPIER NEWS ...both Cham and Mooch are totally lap cats now. It's just like Diane said, one day suddenly they just realized my lap was safe, and now they're always wanting to nap on me. I'm thrilled to the nth degree!

MICHELE - I'm so glad to hear that you got some sleep finally. And all those DVDs! Wow, you could walk yourself right up to my front door!

LMAO at your sleepy icon next to the P90!

Anyway, I'm so glad that you are still with your tradition of buying tons of workouts. We all at Hatersville can now rest assured that that strange block of belchdom time is now a thing of the past.

>I had this great reply all typed up for you yesterday when my computer crashed

I'm probably more disappointed than you! That bums me out big time!

>I guess it's a good thing you don't have a credit card, eh!?

ROTFLMAO!!! You're so right. Thank GAWD nobody will give me a credit card!

>You could support a family of 4 with the money she spends feeding the birds and other wildlife -- I'm not joking

That is adorable. I love hearing about people spending money on animals. http://bestsmileys.com/love2/3.gif

>I've started P90 and I'm pleased to announce that it's perfect for my DH . Actually, I think it's perfect for me, too

Oh no, are you going to make me start researching again?! LOL. That's great that P90 is turning out so fantastically!

How's your hair?

ROBIN - Thank you for the cyber hug. Yes, I'm fairly certain the crud is over.

JEN - Thank you, too, for the cyber hug. How are you feeling?

>WHERE ARE YOU??????????????? You are missed when you aren't here....

You're sweet. Thanks.

DANA - Hey, busy woman!

>I bought lottery tickets for my dad the other day and almost walked out w/out paying for them.

LMAO.

Wish Gannon a very happy birthday!

JENNIFER - Glad to hear you got healthy numbers lined up. And I hope Nick will call again soon (if you still want him to, that is).

How cute that your babies bring you fresh mice. Mooch is still bringing me his favorite feather toy, and then he'll "roo roo!" to get me to play with him. He doesn't really meow. He roos.

Okay, me and my really horrible allergies are going to watch some Frasier and unwind now, with Wet Noodle on my lap (a.k.a. Mooch). BBL.

Gooooooood morning!!

Sorry I didn't make it back yesterday. I had a lot going on and DH came home from his trip so I wanted to make a nice dinner. He got someone to cover his early appointments this morning so he could sleep in which gave me time to make a nice breakfast.

I have DOMS. You know how I hate that -- LMAO!! This is day 3 of my P90 rotation (I'm doing Power 90, NOT P90X) which calls for the sculpting DVD. It's a full body circuit that you run through 3 times, and each time through you work the same muscles but in a different way. I really like this program. It's supposed to be a beginner rotation but I would debate that. You can make it as easy or as difficult as you like. You can go as light or as heavy as you want and work at your own pace -- Tony says to do 8 to 15 reps. I'm going with low weights and 15 reps. For $26, this set was a real bargain and something I think I'll get a lot of use out of. Now will DH use it? -- that remains to be seen.

Jen - I'm glad you've been able to get some sleep. I wonder what Chad has on the menu for this evening }( :9 . Have I told you lately how much I LOVE him!?

My deskunking went well, and she actually did a nice job of styling my hair this time, too.

P90 doesn't have the workouts you mentioned. Let me say again that I'm NOT doing P90X, I'm doing this http://www.beachbody.com/jump.jsp?itemID=22&itemType=CATEGORY&path=1,2,21
;)

Jennifer - Did you ever find out why your doctor called? Maybe they were calling as a courtesy to tell you about your excellent lab work.

I had a big problem with mice awhile back and my Johnny was in kitty heaven -- lol!

Dana - I'm so excited that you're finally taking a day off and spending the day at a craft show is the perfect way to relax. You really need some time off, young lady! There's an antique show this weekend that I'll be going to. It's an annual fund raiser for a local museum and I almost always buy something. I'm hoping to find a nice little folk art painting this year :D

>Well, the more that I think of it, I really didn't follow the recipe at all. If it is good, I'll give you my recipe. I only used 2 small boneless chicken breasts so it will serve two (or in my case one adult and 2 children).

ROTFLMAO!!!

Wish Gannon a very Happy Birthday from me, K? What kind of cake did you have? }( :9

August - I'm so happy to hear from you! You posted while I was posting (this is taking me forever) -- lol!!

>And all those DVDs! Wow, you could walk yourself right up to my front door!

When you least expect it...:p :7

What a bummer that Cham and Mooch are having food issues ;( . I've been through this with Johnny. He has food allergies on top of special dietary needs for his urinary health. There's almost nothing he can have :-( .

>It's funny, when you haven't had your carpet cleaned in years and then you clean one spot, it becomes so clean that the rest of your carpet looks awful. You know what I'm talking about here? ...It's very artistic-looking.

ROTFLMAO!! After years with 2 dogs and 2 cats my carpet looked like it had a polka dot pattern -- LMAO!! My poor Maggie doodle became incontinent in her old age and there were pee stains everywhere. ;(

>I also ended up having to go to the emergency vet tonight.

They knew us by name at our local Emergency Vet Clinic. Siegfried had a penchant for eating socks and other things that had to be surgically removed. Now I know why them call them wieners -- LMAO!

Thank goodness they were able to fix poor Cham's cast. I can't wait till she gets it off.

>And now for BRIGHTER HAPPIER NEWS ...both Cham and Mooch are totally lap cats now.

:+ :+ :+

Okay kiddo's, I need to do my workout and run some errands. I'll BBL to see who's around and to see if there's any news about Diane:D :*

Quick update. Ella Grace arrived on Monday, October 1st at 1:21 pm. She was 7 lbs 1 oz and 19 3/4 inches long. We are both doing really well and just got home from the hospital. I will update with birth story and pictures later today when some family leaves.

Hello Cyber_Aunts and New Mom.

some confusion at the doctor's office, my numbers are higher than they want them to be. They WERE going to give me one month to lower but I told them I wanted more time so just before Thanksgiving, I get rechecked for my HDL/LDL. My goals are set and in motion.
Fortunately, I'm not eating what I did before and during vacation.

No dates this weekend, just communication.

Is it Friday yet?

Evening haters! I have 15 minutes to get dressed & be at Chad's house for dinner... think I'll make it? Actually I should only be about 10 min late- this is when I am happy he lives 2 minutes away!

I did Burn It Up this morning and then did GS Legs floor work & BM2 Upper body this evening, I was also able to get in a 30 min nap-I needed it big time. My throat is still killing me but I'll survive!

Dana- Let me know how the dish turns out- you sound like me, I NEVER follow the recipe at all, lol!

August - Man, you've had a rough time lately, I am so sorry but happy that Cham is okay, more hugs to you! :*

Michele- Sorry, what I am talking about is P90 Masters Series, not P90X but also not P90, LOL! ;-) Sorry about that, I do like P90 also, I actually like the Sweat Cardio 3-4 from P90 better than the 5-6 from the masters series. Not sure what Chad has on the menu for tonight, he never tells me and never lets me bring anything over. He knows I like a glass of red wine w/ dinner (more so in the fall/winter and not summer), I love Cabernet, and one of his friends owns a wine store in town so he got a really nice bottle of wine from him for me... can't wait to try it tonight!!! :)

Dana - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I checked your picture trail just in case you uploaded already but no such luck... x( Can't wait to see them, glad you are doing good!

Okay, my butt has got to run, I'll stop back by to see if any pictures are posted when I get home tonight!

Okay, here is my birth story.

I had been scheduled for an induction on Monday night but I started getting bloody show and cramps early on Sunday and started feeling real contractions around 7 pm on Sunday night. DH and I decided to head to the hospital around 3 am. When I got to the hospital, they checked me and I still was only fingertip dialated. They monitored me for a few hours and I still hadn't dialated, so my doctor decided to proceed with the planned induction but just to start it earlier in the day.

At that point, I was pretty disappointed that my contractions hadn't done anything and was just exhausted from all the contractions and going a night without sleep. Right after finding out I would be induced, the nurse was trying to draw some blood and couldn't get any out. A specialist had to come in and try and draw my blood but it still wasn't working. They had to poke me in about 10 different places and it hurt like heck. Around 8 am, while they were stabbing me with various needles, my doctor came in the room to give me the cervadil and I just broke down and cried. She calmed me really well and then checked my cervix before putting in the cervadil and...I was 3 cm and fully effaced!! So she immediately broke my water and started me on pitocin (my contractions had gotten a little further apart at that point). And she said I could get the epidural when ever I wanted. So I was a happy camper at that point.

I waited on the epi for about an hour so that they contractions could pick up again. I got the epi and it didn't hurt at all. After that I felt wonderful and was just hanging out with family and resting. They checked me around 11 am and I was 5 cm so things were looking great.

Then around 12:45 the nurse noticed some meconium in my fluids, so my doctor was called in so that she could put some more fluids in there to dilute the meconium (I forget the name of this procedure). My doctor arrived at 1 to inject the fluids, and when she went down to insert the fluid she called my husband over to look and said - "See that hair? That is the top of your baby's head." Ella decided she would just sneak out on her own I guess. The doctor had me start pushing immediately, like the next contraction, and everyone was running around the room like crazy people getting things ready. I was very numb so it was hard to figure out how to push, but after about 20 minute of pushing, little Ella was born. They wanted to try and suction out her airways before her first breath because of the meconium, but Ella came out screaming! So they wisked her away with some specialists to check to make sure everything was okay, which it was, so they brought her back a few minutes later.

It was so surreal holding her for the first time. I guess it all just happened so fast I was still in shock. I'm glad DH got it all on video because it is all a blur at this point. Ella has been just a wonderful little baby. She is breastfeeding really well and only seems to cry when something is wrong (cold, dirty diaper, etc.) She has her days and nights mixed up and we are working on that, but she is just an angel. I had a 2nd degree tear, but it is healing fine. DH and I just couldn't be happier.

Here are some pictures from her first day!
