Morning!

I just got up and ran to the dry cleaners to pick up my comforter. A while back I happened across that thread in the OD that talked about washing your down comforter, and it grossed me out enough that I ran mine to the local cleaner LOL.

It's still warm enough here that I'm wearing a short-sleeved shirt right now, but nights are getting a tad chilly.....

Anyway, I run there to pick it up and the woman working there who I'd never seen before tells me my comforter is ready but she doesn't know how much the charge is. Huh? So she asks me if it's all right if I pay next time I'm in, so I tell her it's no problem. Then she gets my comforter that is now wrapped in plastic, puts it on the table in front of me, I look down, and see a water stain on it LOL. http://bestsmileys.com/nono/9.gif

So I say, "There seems to be a water stain on my comforter. Or is it on the plastic?"

And she says, "They couldn't get it out..... Or....is it on the plastic?"

And I say, "..............................."

And she says, "We'll wash it again. Can you come in next week?"

What on earth am I supposed to think about this? Did they just fluff up my comforter? How could they have spent a week to clean it and then there's a water stain on it?

DANA - OMG, Hotel Hershey, LMAO!!! I can see it now - relaxing in warm chocolate and every now and then licking my arm. Heaven! You definitely should treat yourself (to the overnight, not your arm, unless you want to lick your arm which is certainly your right LOL).

That would be so fun for us Haters to all gather and spend an overnight at Hotel Hershey. Haters at Hotel Hershey. That sounds very nice indeed!

It's 183 cm (6 feet) tall. I totally wish it had a hammock, but aside from that, we all love it. There are lots of levels and scratchy posts and it's really sturdy.

I'll be kind of glad when I can put my darn suitcase away (HINT : And be able to stay with the squirrels every day).

All right. I suppose I could do some work since I don't have to spend time putting my comforter cover on my comforter today. Yeah, well I know that would only take me five minutes at the most. And your point would be? :p

Michele- I don't think you could be his mother... unless you had him when you were 10 or 11, I think I have you at the right age- he is 41! He will find out in 6 weeks if he has to go back in for surgery again, if so he is going to get it done by the end of the year so he doesn't have to pay another $2K out of pocket for deductible and out of network doctor, since the doc he went to is a speciliast in St. Louis. He is kind of upset about it but said he can't deal with the pain he experiences now forever so whatever it takes... August- Holy cow! That is one tall tower! I bet the babies love it! :) I feel like a bad mom now for only having one that stands as tall as my window sill...now I'll probably have to go out and buy my brats a new one... http://planetsmilies.net/angry-smiley-1497.gif and then I wonder why they are spoiled rotten. :eek: ;-) }(

Funny, I feel like a bad mom when I see them get spastic, frantically race up to the top and totally bite the dust :eek: . Thankfully it hasn't happened many times.

Goodmorning haters. Not being able to post much at work anymore has seriously depleted my computer time. I miss you all so much. I may have to set my alarm even earlier for some quality computer time.

Dana, good for you! I hope you have a marvelous time in Hershy. I grew up less than 10 miles from the Hershey Hotel. I worked at Hersheypark when I was in college. I love going back to the area.

My workouts have been faltering and my eating is in the toilet. I'm have serious blues for no reason. I think part of it may be Cathe-computer-time-withdrawl. And now I have to get to work. I hope you all have a great day. I'm going to wallow in self pity today.

I'm happy to say I'm feeling much better this morning. My tummy ache and headache are all gone. Now if I could just figure out how to get DH to STOP SNORING x( . I'm not kidding -- I can't take it much longer. I haven't had a good night's sleep in 15 years -- lol! ;(

Cardio is on tap today and I think I'm hooking up with my buddy, Sean:D . My last elliptical workout was so awesome and I'm hoping for another ride like that. :D

DH is taking me out to dinner tonight :D . Thursday seems to have become our date night, probably because that's the only night DH gets home at a decent hour. I hope we go to the same restaurant that we went to last Thursday -- I want to find out how our favorite waiter did on the LSAT exam.

We need to plan a Haters GTG. I've been dying for a GTG but I don't see one in my NEAR future -- maybe next year. I'd love to go to Hershey but we'd have to be very discreet about it. I have some relatives near there who I don't much care for and I wouldn't want them to know I was in town :eek: }( . They'd be offended if I didn't visit with them, and frankly, I'd rather be stabbed in the forehead with an ice pick than have to do that ;) :p

ROTFLMAO!! I suppose it's possible. My OB case study conceived when she was 12 years old :eek:

I'll be praying for Chad and I really hope they can do something non surgically to fix his shoulder.

We miss you, too ;) :* , and I haven't been posting as much either. My elbow thanks me for it but I do miss everyone. I've been cutting way back on <--- posting because I can't keep up with it. When I log on in the morning and see 25 posts it completely overwhelms me. I'm busy in the early morning hours getting DH off to work so I rarely sit down at the computer before 8 or 9 at the earliest.

I won't be around at all tomorrow - I'm going to a training. Yippee!!! Can ya tell I hate trainings? At least my boss is going and she'll drive. Her DH bought a 2008 Mustang Shelby - wonder if we'll be going in that?

Hello Haters and Miss Ella Grace.

How are you all doing? Sorry I haven't been around. The virus hit me hard this week plus with the rollercoaster weather just adds to it. Heat exhaustion followed by a chest cold/bronchitis/swollen glands,etc...But, I'm getting better and plan to workout on Sat. AM.

August-Love the pics of the squirrels. My cats don't have any high cat toys/perches cause they get on top of my kitchen cupboards.

Mustang Shelbys are tough.
