Good morning!
Okay, I have to tell you how much I totally CRACKED UP to see who started yesterday's post! LMAO LMAO!!! Corrie, you're too funny and you MUST join in with us when you can. LMAO with you!!
Anyway, I've been well, still having a bit of a busy week. From yesterday it got so Springy and lovely here, I hope it keeps up! I felt so inspired by the nice weather that I took today's cardio and did a mongo cleanup of my apartment. Um, that's cardio, isn't it?
The hay fever pollens are blowing up a storm over here. Luckily I don't have it too bad, but the people who have it bad have it BAD. There is some new kind of over-the-counter medicine for it where you put some ointment on your finger and dig it up into you nostril and rub in around. Apparently it works really well, except the application of it is not a pretty sight. The TV commercial for it is pretty funny.
Corrie - Welcome! We're so happy to see you here! About rotations, I usually make up my own rotations every month. This month I'm doing 2 weeks of S&H with cardio in between, and then 2 weeks of Pyramid with cardio in between. But like Arista and Robin, sometimes I'll have to sub things around when my work schedule is such, so I'm not totally stapled up to my rotation. But for me it makes things a lot easier to have a set rotation so that I can just look on my calendar and take out the DVD I need, rather than to think about anything like what I feel like doing or what I should do.
All right, so I had step on my calendar today and did scrubbing, but the rotation more than often keeps me on track.
Arista - LMAO at your guesses at where we all must have been. Ahh, I would love to confirm with you that I was in a tub of donuts. But instead I have to tell you something boring like I was working. Yes, I was clothed and out of my apartment working.
>I'm eating an apple right now and the sun is shining.
How good does that sound! That sentence is so filled with happy stuff....Ryan's 30th is coming up? Yeah, it would be nice to think up something special for that one. Have you come up with any other ideas? A day trip does sound nice if you can't do an overnight.
Jen - So glad to hear that you are feeling better! Your rotation looks great.
Janjan - Hi, jet-setter! So are you the Mileage Point Queen or what?
Robin - Welcome back! We're very, very bummed about your lost post. Woo hoo, pasta party! That was a nice idea to have a little get-together to eat the pasta. I'm glad it was a good time!
Diane - Great new photos! I hope you had a great relaxing day.
Mariah - How are you doing?
Terri - How fun to think of lost weight as certain amounts of food! Wow, 3.5 pounds of fat is 14 sticks of butter?...Sounds like your rotation is going smoothly. From my own experiences with my HRM, 600 cals burned for 50 min of kickboxing does sound a little high for an average workout, but that may have more to do with the amount of effort I'M putting out LOL. If you're sweating from your elbows, maybe 600 isn't too far off. Have you been feeling hungry with the cals you're currently eating?...I'm glad you posted the photos. WOW! Cool! How fun that looks to walk in! Really great photos!
Michele - How funny that the exterminators can talk to the ants to find out that they are looking for water. No wonder they were all over Kitty's water dish. Well, if you're going to have an ant problem, you may as well have one that your exterminators can brag to their exterminator friends about. Enjoy your prescribed eating out and I'll keep my fingers crossed that your house will be back to normal in a few days.
Oh, I've seen that kitty playing the piano! That is so cute. I've also seen one where a kitty is playing a synthesizer that is really funny. I looked around for it but couldn't find it to post a link.
Dana -
>Don't they know that the water is outside. DUH!!!
LOL! Apparently they prefer filtered.
Yup, there is pizza in Japan, but they're much smaller and twice the price. But that doesn't stop anyone from ordering them. There are Dominoes and Pizza Hut and all those lovelies here, too.....AHH! That puppy is adorable!!
Deb - Congrats on the good eats and to the start of your P90X! (How do you "sort of" start that thing? LOL) Hope you had fun skiing!
Shelley - LMAO, I just read your post where you asked Jen pretty much the same question. Glad to hear that Jen scolded you to come post because we were missing you.
Kara - Hey, you! Urgh, allergies. I hear you. They are really going around right now over here, too. Apparently people who never had allergies before are getting them this year. I'm so glad about that so that they everyone can know how it feels LOL. Mine are bad in the Autumn, if you can believe that....Oh man, I wish I hadn't read your review about P90X, I'm already so on the edge of wanting to buy it.
All right, I'd better get my jive on.
Have a great Monday and talk to you later!
