MORNING!

Last night Mooch and Cham had a wild run through the apartment when I suddenly heard a big boom...I ran to the other room to see what fell, and it was my towel and towel rack.

Mooch was lying down on my towel sort of under the rack, and Cham was sitting nearby, so for a minute I worried maybe Mooch was hurt (even though the towel rack is really fairly light and flimsy). He looked up at me like "uh oh" so I kneeled down to him and felt his whole body to see if he had any reaction for owies.

Thankfully Mooch wasn't hurt - he was just deeming this newfound comfy towel spot his My New Sleep Place place LOL. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/sleep009.gif

Ooh! Mr. Caw came and eat some orange just now while Cham and Mooch are napping in the other room. I slowly got up to try to take a better photo of him and he flew away.

The dirty SOB. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/char128.gif

I finished up my Gym Chest and Tris and followed it with a smoothie. I've got to finish up the work I've been pounding on since who knows when, and also print up my grocery list! Oh boy!

Have a great day!

MICHELE -

>I need clothes, too. You should see what I wear around the house! And for going out? I have about 2 outfits and they're each about 5 years old! I look so shabby -- I really do. It's a good thing I'm a hermit and rarely leave my house. OTOH, maybe if I had nicer clothes I'd go out more -- lol!

That totally cracked me up. If you were to look at photographs of me ten years ago, I'd be wearing the same things then, too. LOL. It's AWFUL.

>Oh hey, what are you going to do with your hair? Didn't you say your hair is all the way down to there? OMG I wouldn't be able to handle that. It must take forever to wash and dry! Chop it off, I say!!

I actually had a dream a few nights ago about chopping it off at the chin by mistake, and then in the dream when I realized what I'd done, I felt relieved - that I made the mistake and there was nothing I could do about it, so I might as well enjoy the change.

I know...verrrrry deep! LOL.

It does take some time to wash, but I don't do a thing with it after that. I just comb it through, put some conditioner in it and woila! My hair is naturally wavy but I got a perm to make it straight so it's more manageable. Course it makes no difference to me since all I do with it is pull it up and back outta my face!

I made the mistake of asking several people who know me if they thought I should cut off my hair and they said, "OH NO! Don't cut off your pretty hair!"

Now, while I'm flattered by the compliment, you can see how this would damper my thoughts to cutting it all off.

I'm thinking I'm going to see how I like it in the warmer weather when I'm wearing less bulk, maybe try wearing it down some,...and then I'd like to cut a bunch off in the fall.

>My hair is a little past my shoulders, but it looks like it's just below my chin.

I guess that's made for some dangerous hair cutting, eh? I suppose if you ever change hair stylists you have to really explain that to them! So I guess you don't blow dry, either?

>And I feel like I work out quite a bit http://www.kidcorral.ca/forum/images/smilies/bs.gif

LMAO!

O----M-----G!!!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!! I totally thought you were serious with your new list and I was getting ready to jot them down into my notes LMAO! I love the "My ass hurts" "What?" bunnies! LMAO!!

DANA -

>you know what you need to do? You need to plant yourself a little herb garden and put it out on your balcony

LOL. What would DP think? He'd be furious with me.

Actually, I was just talking to a friend of mine who does that - has a little herb and veggie garden on her balcony. She says it's really wonderful and she makes these fresh herb pastas and stuff all the time, which I would be totally into (well, into eating that is LOL). I love herbs!

I'd never thought to grow any because it sounds like a pain the butt LOL. I do grow kitty grass and it's not a pain in the butt.

Though I do live in the middle of vehicle-ville Tokyo, and the air is so dirty. I don't open my windows or get any fresh air in my apartment, unfortunately. Why am I writing this? LOL. I guess the image of having something edible out on my balcony seems unappetizing to me.

Apparently the birds think so, too. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/angry051.gif

Hey, the link didn't work and I couldn't see your shoes. Now if you found something you like, why are you not getting them!

Wait, why can Michele see them?! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/merv/thinking.gif

OMG LOL at Ralphie and his gas! You could smell it from outside your car? LOL! He must have been thinking, "Ooh, that one was a real stinker, too! Hehe!"

>So I got about 4 inches cut off my hair. It is now only to my shoulderblades. It was to the middle of my back. I like it.

Yes, we want photos! PHOTOS! It must feel so light and nice.

SHANNON - Yup, yup, I'm going to buy buy buy today at the grocery store so that I'll be ready to whip up stuff in my crock pot...until I need to go buy more fresh veggies again, LOL. Thanks for the cheer of excitement! I will not be afraid! I shall find some way to store!

>but OMG, I just can't imagine having to lean over the fridge to use the stove.

Yeah, not the best place for my fridge. I originally had my fridge in a different place but that different place made the fridge kind of central in my apartment like, "Hear Yee! Hear Yee! I Am...Fridge!" Then I realized the space in between the front of my gas burners and the part of the wall that sticks out because of a building beam is the perfect size! Seemed like a good idea at the time.

But hey, I use the crock pot in the entryway of my apartment anyway, so it's only an issue when I do fish or eggs LOL.

>Thank you for taking care of August. Her kitchen is in good hands with you around.

WoooOOoo HooOOoo! I've got a loooong list and I plan to make it mine!

>Work continues to be hellish. But that big project has to be done today, no matter what, so there is relief in sight.

YAY! I think this calls for celebration! I'm so glad to hear that the project will be done today!

http://bestsmileys.com/cheering/2.gif

>My friendly Haters, please don't hate me or throw tomatoes or anything.... I did Step Blast last night... and LOVED it!

LMAO! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/ad/tomato.gif

>It's been ages since I did it because of my calf injury.

Oh, it's been ages for me, too. 'http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/indifferent/indifferent0004.gif ............. http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/winking/winking0023.gif

JENNIFER -

>Have fun at the grocery store.

I will! I WILL! Muwahahahaa!

JEN - I got the photo of the kitty, but I didn't get the photo of Take Me Back. LOL, no kidding take me back! And what a totally cute picture of Sport! He's saying, "Put the camera down, we're still playing."

Oh no! Just as I was getting ready to post this, I found that Michele had posted on yesterday's thread...puke was your evening?! OH NO! Sudden puke, slow puke, it's all awful. Are you feeling completely better now? Do you think it could be a flu? Is the dinner you were working on the bean one? Oh, Michele, get some good sleep and feel all better in the morning!! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/hug005.gif

And to the rest of you -- everybody else get better, too! You're making us Haters look weak! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/laughing021.gif

Have a nice day! :D

Hello Haters.

ONLY 2 more full days left of work. This week has been good so far.
Now, Friday is supposed to snow so I plan on grocery shopping, Panera for lunch, and church later.

Last night, due to a long phone call, I never did HSTA but will try again tonight with it. Then, it was The Biggest Loser and Dancing With the Stars. Priscilla, Kristi, and Marlie were the best of the bunch.

Have a Great Day!!!

Mornin' http://bestsmileys.com/sick/9.gif

I don't feel so hot.

August -- ROTFLMAO at your grocery store escapade!

Jennifer -- I hope you enjoy your grocery shopping as much as Augie apparently did.

I hate going to the grocery store. ;)

I felt a little bit hungry this morning so I ate a piece of dry toast and a poached egg. It went down OK, but now I feel yucky again ;(

I'm going to veg out on the couch until my doctor's appointment.

At least I puked and lost my appetite right before my annual physical exam and weigh-in :p . I'm always looking for that silver lining :7

Hello Dana, Jen, Cuz, and everyone. I'll see y'all later :*

>At least I puked and lost my appetite right before my annual physical exam and weigh-in :p . I'm always looking for that silver lining :7

LMAO! Yeah, puke is good for at least one thing. Maybe two.

Sounds like you must have some weird flu. Hope it's 24-hrs. Feel better SOON.

It's still raining here....and I'm finished with work for the night and am rearranging things in my kitchen! Woo hooo!

I was grocery shopping FOREVER. Do you know there's something called Black-Eye Beans? Is that Black-Eye Peas? My Mom was soooo bored with me reading all the labels and checking things off my incredibly lengthy shopping list LMAO.

Okay, gotta get back to my cleaning while I'm hot hot hot!

Howdy, Haters -

August - it's "Black-Eyed Peas". Did you buy any? They're a real Southern tradition in the States. Are you going to have to store all this food under the bed? You can't possibly have cabinet space for it all. What are you planning to cook first? And hey, I sure am glad your kitties are okay!

Jennifer - ooooh, that vacation is coming closer and closer! Enjoy Panera tonight!

Cuz - Ugh! I hope you feel better soon, poor dear. Curl up under a nice warm blanket and take it easy!

Hi Cuz and Augie!!

I was just looking at the blog :7 . OMG! I'm getting so excited about STS! I really can't wait for this series. I wonder how long it will take them to finish filming. I hope I get it in time to do the rotation before we go to Italy next fall.

Cuz, I've always wondered what kind of recipes call for black-eyed peas. I've only ever used them in soup mixed with a lot of other beans.

I'd love to curl up under a blankie, but I have an appointment for my annual physical in a few hours and I need to start getting ready (my doc is in another town so it takes awhile to get there). I should hop in the shower so I have time to let my hair dry, but I'm not very motivated ;)

Alrighty, I better get going http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/sigh.gif

You guys....I just found a note card in a cookbook from eeeeeeons ago that has my handwritten recipe for how to make...Snickerdoodle cookies LMAO!!! The first thing on the top of the card says I need one cup of shortening LMAO!!

Shannon - No, I didn't get them. I looked at them and thought, "Are these Pintos? No, Shannon would say these aren't Pintos." and put them right back. :)

What am I gonna cook first? OMG, I DON'T KNOW!!!!!!! :D :* :D :* :D

I'm totally redoing my cabinets because under my bed is completely full LOL.

Michele - Italy? Italy? No, don't go into detail. Go cozy up and relax.

Back to cleaning.

I'm still feeling kind of pukey, and I'm having one heck of a time motivating myself to do anything but sit in this chair and stare at the computer. ;)

I just made myself a hot cup of green tea. As soon as I drink it I'm off to the shower!

Yes, Italy!! DH has a work related trip and I'm going along. I'm really excited because it will just be the 2 of us this time -- NO damily!

Ooh, Snickerdoodles! YUM :9 That's what you should make first:p

Yay! Work trip work trip! Tag along! Tag along! That's wonderful news!

Are you going to the doctor today for your checkup? If not, you SHOULD do nothing but sit in your chair and stare at the computer!

Wow, you guys, I should get a part-time job at rearranging things. My cabinets look huge already! Well, maybe huge is too big a word. My cabinets have space already!

Yeah, that's more fitting. :)

Michele, do take it easy and feel better.

>Ooh, Snickerdoodles! YUM That's what you should make first

I got everything on the list you told me to...and you did not tell me to get shortening LMAO.

Cuz - I don't really know that much about black-eyed pea recipes. I'm not exactly the tradtional southern belle, you know. LOL! I know that on New Year's, you're supposed to eat them with ham hocks. UGH. I have done a tomato-ey sort of thing that was pretty good. I hope traffic is kind to you on your drive to the doc.

August - good girl. Pintos are much better than black-eyed peas. Did you find pintos? Why are you rearranging cabinets NOW? Aren't you supposed to be in BED? :p Snickerdoodles are okay.... but they're not chocolate. Don't listen to Michele on this one. They're not worth it. ;)

Shannon, I hear you loud and clear. I have NO idea why I would eat shortening if there's no plan for chocolate ahead. I was young when I wrote the recipe card. ;-)

Yes, I DID find pintos and I was thrilled to say the least. They're canned (that's the only one I could find).

It's now close to 2am and I'm finished cleaning stuff out for my delivery tomorrow. Stuff is supposed to arrive at 1pm. That will really be the deciding factor in what I end up making. Time. Time is of the essence.

That delivery better be on time. I want to slow cook, after all. :9

Okay guys, I'd better get to bed. Mooch is going nuts eating cardboard from the scratch pad. Why on earth is he doing that. x(

I wonder if it's good?

LOL.

Night!

Hi haters.

Shannon - ham hocks?? OK, this is mean of me but I'm always goofing off w/my kids and I told my 6-year old that a hammock is called a ham hock and for the longest time he was calling it a ham-hock.

August - I don't even know what a snickerdoodle is!!! It is a cookie, right? And it has shortening in it, right? What else? Is it like a short bread cookie? Hmmmmm. I've never had a black-eyed pea either. Sleep tight!!!!

Michele - hope you feel better soon!! I'm looking forward to STS also. I haven't looked at the blog in a few days so I'll have to check it out. I found the clean eating magazine and bought it. I didn't look at the price on the cover and was shocked that is was $6!!! I haven't had a chance to look at it yet.

Hi Jen & Jennifer!!!!

It is such a gloomy day. I had to run to the store to pick up a few things and it is cold and raining and just plain yucky!!!

Last night I did 4DS chest/back and abs from PS. I really don't like chest work all that much but I actually enjoy it in this workout. Of course I didn't do any of the cardio. Just the weights, then abs and stretch. Not sure what my workout will be tonight. I really do need to get in some cardio. Maybe I'll do the cardio only from LIC - it is pretty fun without all the high impact stuff. Well duh, isn't that the whole idea of LOW IMPACT.

Have a nice day all! :)

Okay. Apparently the grocery high hasn't worn off yet. It's 6:30am and I have no been able to fall asleep yet.

DANA - You and all your 4DS talk...you keep making me want to get it.........

I'm going to attempt sleep again.

August!!!!! I can't believe you are still awake. I posted HOURS ago and just thought I'd see if anyone was around. Certainly didn't expect to find YOU here. Go to sleep!!!!! If you don't go to sleep now, you're going to be asleep at 1:00 and miss your grocery delivery!!!!

I don't think I'll be getting in a workout tonight. I forgot that DH told me he wouldn't be home until late and I cannot workout with the kids around. They drive me nuts when I am trying to workout. It is already 6:30 and I don't think he'll be home til 8:00 or 9:00. I was planning on doing Pyramid Lower Body. The thought of cardio made me sick! Soooooo, tomorrow will be PLB. For sure!!!!

So I guess I'm going to finish up the dishes, sweep the floor, fold laundry, straighten up a bit, give Gannon his bath, have Gabe read his book for homework to me, take a shower and attempt to dry and straighten my hair so it looks like it does right now and then relax with a magazine. Ooh yeah, Criminal Minds is on tonight - wonder if it is a new one?

Sleep tight Augie! Oh yeah, you need to get 4DS - yeah, it has cardio but the weight training is AWESOME! Bye!

Hey everyone! Just finished up HSTA & 15 min outer thigh work. I got this taste in my mouth earlier today & got it again after I just worked out... it tastes like I just threw up...GROSS & making my stomach turn a little. I also got a headache but I think that is from waiting too long to eat... wonder why I have this taste in my mouth???

Michele- How are you feeling? How did the doctor's appointment go?

August- I like snickerdoodle cookies too! Even though I couldn't tell you the last time I even ate a cookie, or cake, or a donut, or anything fun for that matter, LOL!!! Did you finally get to sleep? What did you decide for the next slow cooker meal???

Jennifer- How was Panera and did you have a nice time at church? Did you get HSTA done tonight? I forgot how much I love that w/o...just can't do it too often b/c it builds my thigh muscles very quick! Wish I could do it more though.

Dana- Sorry you can't get a workout in tonight. Your night sounds like enough of a workout, geez woman! Do you ever get a break??

Shannon- How are you doing cardio lover?!?! What cardio workout did you do today??? :p

Okay off to eat some oatmeal & hopefully BBL!!!

Hello Haters.

Tonight was HSTA, I like HSC better all the way around. Thurs night is either LIC, LM, or SB.

Church is on Friday night and Panera Bread is on Friday day.
ONE day til my Day Off, no, I'm not excited or anything....

Right now, Eric Clapton is on PBS for some Crossroads Guitar special. It's really good. PBS just aired a big presentation on Foregiveness and how's it's good for you physically just as mentally. Very good show.

BBL.
