Hiya hoo! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/char100.gif

No birds WHAT-SO-E-VE-R! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/char026.gif

Chami still waits by the balcony. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/sad030.gif

I've just finished GYM BSB and had my smoothie. I decided to freeze half a banana to throw in, and for the first time, I froze my banana in the skin.

Has anyone ever tried this?

http://bestsmileys.com/fainting/3.gif I don't recommend it LOL. The peel becomes realllllly soft. At one point, I was thinking I'd just throw in the peel too, and of course that made me think of Jennifer and her dad (who turns out eats orange peels, not banana ones). I finally was able to trim the peel off with a knife.

Tonight I'm cookin' up some fish and grilling up some veggies for Mom and my dinner.

I wish I had the makings to do something in my crock pot...but I don't http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/sad052.gif . I HAVE to finish up some work by the end of this week, and when I finish something, I'll grant myself a grocery shopping evening as a reward.

Wow. That's really quite sad, isn't it. LOL.

Now where the heck are my dining chairs?! Oh wait, was it just Friday that I ordered them? It seems like ages ago! I just can't wait!!

Okay. I'm going now.

JEN -

>I've NEVER liked green/red peppers, onions, roasted red peppers, peas, mushrooms...

LOL. I guess that means red peppers are double-hate. Peppers ain't my fav either. My high school friend hates peppers so much he can smell them a mile away. He'll suddenly say, "Eww, I can smell someone is cooking with bell peppers."

So how did the new crock recipe go over? Man, I've got to get shopping so I can continue my crock adventures!

>Did you find somewhere to store your humidifier?

It's still drying in the front. How long will it be before it dries out, for crying out loud? Well, I guess that at least proves that there's enough moisture in my place now LOL.

I wonder if it would fit under my stove range...

THE KITTY! She's so cute! Could you maybe post her photo around the neighborhood? Her family must be going nuts! I'm so glad to hear that she's eating and slowly beginning to trust you. If you think she might be sick though, would it be good to try to get her into a carrier or box and rush her to the vet? Poor kitty! But so lucky she met you!

By the way, your deck is HUGE and I want one.

JENNIFER - So your dad is eating beef after being vegan for so long. Wow, that's pretty incredible. Good thing for Dairy Queen! He should look into getting a Blizzard while he's there! Those are sooo good.

>Lots of new rabbits lately too.

Rub it in, why don't you! LOL.

How's your throat doing? Is it from the sinuses or is it the dreaded sinuses and cold combo?

>The women that Todd usually dates, IMO, are more hardcore than I

LOL. Well then you'll be a fresh, good change for him.

DANA -

>What workout did I do today? I did the 5 hour, sit on the couch and watch the What Not to Wear marathon.

LMAO.

>Can I tell you something that you may want to pass on to mom?

Dana, thank you so much for writing that out for me. I know that must have been so heartbreaking having to go through that with your Malachi. After reading what you wrote, I spent much of the morning re-researching the best cat food I might be able to easily get in Japan. I'm thinking I'll stock up Mom with the best of what I can find so she has what she thinks she needs as far as variety goes. (She has the same foods as I give my guys, and my guys are totally happy and content....I'm thinking she's misinterpreting their meows of "Let's play" for "Hey! you! human! I would prefer to have a different kind of wet food today, and throw in some snacks there while you're at it.")

I've told Mom sooooo many times about not buying convenience/grocery store canned food (as well as the giving too many snacks issue) but she just can't seem to get it in her head (this is a major drive-me-nuts issue for me).

Anyway, I'm going to order all sorts of stuff tonight after I do some work today! Woo hoo!

If only I could be that way about ordering clothing online.

>Tomorrow is my day off of work. I think I"m going to get 3-4 inches cut off my hair. It is so long and heavy that it looks horrible.

Yay! Enjoy your day off!

You guys are REALLY making me want to cut off my hair!! I feel the same way about mine. Long, heavy, horrible. I think it also has to do with the weather - it's springy but still fairly chilly, so I've got thick clothing on, plus all this hair and it makes me look and feel like a wild mountain woman.

That's so great that you had a nice date with your DH, and that your mom was able to babysit both boys. Half good and half bad, LOL, what can be expected, they're boys!

>Gabe thought it was great that he got to sleep on the couch with my mom's dog, Ceasar. When he stretches out, he is as long as the couch and weighs about 120lbs. He is a very big boy!

LMAO!! That is so cute. I would totally think it's great, too.

MICHELE -

>Do you remember that Lentil Sloppy Joe recipe I promised to post today? Well, how about if I post it tomorrow instead

I won't be able to get to the grocery store until I finish some work,.....so I'll give you a couple more days! LOL.

>OH!!! We polished off the leftovers today tossed with WW pasta and it was to.die.for!! It was kind of like Johnny Marzetti but with lentils instead of meat. Oh man, It was soooooo good! I sprinkled it with a little parmesan cheese and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I'm definitely putting this on my regular rotation.

JUST A COUPLE MORE DAYS!!! You're making us all starving!!! That sounds like something I would be VERY into. And my pasta-mom would, too.

>I have to work off at least one of my meals today

LOL. I'm glad you had a nice weekend and that you were able to drop by on your in-laws! I'm sure they were glad to see you (and eat your cooking!)

All right, later Haters! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/transport026.gif

Morning Haters.

It's Monday, Ick! I just had yogurt thought it was the thicker/creamier one but it wasn't, it tasted OK, but not what I like. At least the oatmeal was OK. My little Madrid got a piece from a plastic bag and was going to chew it so I took it away from him and told him 'No'. He looked at me like I'm the crazy one.

Yes, it would be good for Todd to date someone like me. It would be different but in a very good way.

August-Cool your dining room chairs will be in.

Only 4 days this week, remembering that should keep me very happy all week.

Good morning!!

http://bestsmileys.com/stpatricsday/2.gif Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! http://bestsmileys.com/stpatricsday/2.gif

I didn't do my workout last night, surprise, surprise http://www.kidcorral.ca/forum/images/smilies/gaah.gif , so I CANNOT miss it again today -- CAN NOT! So who's going to come over here and make sure I do it http://69.0.137.118/dc/images/tongue.gif

I'm trying really hard to turn a new leaf and STOP procrastinating. I've been incredibly nonproductive lately http://www.kidcorral.ca/forum/images/smilies/bored.gif

So, I got up very early and started right in on dinner -- LMAO!! Seriously, I've been wanting to make this bean dish and I keep forgetting to soak the dang beans, so that was my first order of business. As soon as I'm done posting this, I'm going to run to the store and get everything else I need for dinner, then do my workout. I'm going to do my workout BEFORE noon today! http://www.kidcorral.ca/forum/images/smilies/bs.gif

No really, I am -- just you wait and see!!

AUGUST -- ROTFLMAO at this little guy!!! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/sad030.gif
Awwwwwww -- poor Chami http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/hug011.gif

I have never tried to freeze a banana in the skin. The only way I freeze bananas is when I put them on a popsicle stick, dip them in chocolate, and roll them in chopped nuts :9 . I think freezing bananas for smoothies is probably a better idea, but not in the peel :p . I never did get a blender. I must add that to my to-do list.

Your dinner sounds wonderful -- well, all except for the fish part :p. I LOVE grilled veggies. How do you grill indoors -- do you have a grill pan, or does your stove top have a built in grill?

I'm very excited about your dining chairs! I'm sure Mooch and Cham will appreciate that you bought chairs with their safety in mind -- lol! And the cream colored leather is very pretty!

I promise to post that recipe today. Oh yes, it's WONDERFUL with pasta -- even better than a sandwich! I'm planning to make it again this week!

JENNIFER -- I agree -- Monday's are yucky, but this is the first day of my PRODUCTIVE life so I'm going to embrace it! http://www.kidcorral.ca/forum/images/smilies/bs.gif
No really, I am :D

I just barely skimmed yesterdays thread, so what's the deal with your dad? He's been instructed to start eating meat again? Wow! I wonder why. But if the Mayo Clinic says to eat beef then who am I to argue :p . But seriously, I am curious as to why they felt he should re-introduce meat into his diet. Meat lover that I am, even I know that diets lower in animal fat are healthier for you. Is he too thin following all of his cancer treatments? Or maybe he's lacking in iron or other vitamins and minerals that they feel can best be obtained from meat. I hope he's okay with it. I'll pray for him about that. That would have to be hard to change his way of eating after all these years.

Are you hoping for a date with Todd? I'll keep my fingers crossed :D

Hello to Dana, Cuz, Jen, and everyone else. I'm going to scrounge up something for breakfast and then I'll BB to post that recipe. I also need to READ yesterday's thread. I have no clue what y'all were up to over the weekend

Good morning, Haters -

I suppose I'd better go see what happened with you all over the weekend. I limit my computer time on weekends because I'm sick of computers, so I don't post much. In case anybody's wondering, my weekend was foul. Fortunately that doesn't happen often, so we'll just leave it at that.

August - you have me wondering what your kitchen looks like. Do you keep ANY food in there? LOL! You really do need to reward yourself with a grocery store trip. My mom always freezes bananas in the skin - that's the only way she ever does it. I don't freeze them at all, so I don't have any personal experience there.... :7

Jennifer - you get a vacation too, along with Good Friday, don't you? Whooohooooo! I hope your short week goes by super-fast.

Cuz - good grief, is it St. Patrick's Day??? I'll be darned. And I don't have a single thread of green on. Oh dear... and tomorrow is my brother's b'day. I think I'm in trouble. Sooooo.... you have dinner going, and you're back from the store, right? Now get in there and do your workout! :7 (Just a little friendly encouragement there....)

Hello Haters.

My Dad was told to eat beef cause it was better than the vitamin supplement. He had a hard time putting the weight on to withhold chemo treatments. He's been eating beef since last fall, don't know when he plans on quitting. His dietician will tell him when he can go back to eating his normal diet.

Ok, St Patricks Day started out good but ended up REAL bad. 3 cupcakes today.

My friend from church was told her cancer masticized. It was breast cancer but spread into her brain and into her back. It is quite aggressive.

My parents 50th anniversary is August 23rd so they plan on renting a summer home on Lake Charlevoix for the weekend. This part of northern MI compares to Nantucket and Block Island.

Very quick pop in, I think Chad is pulling in the driveway as I type... bringing me dinner, not sure what he made. I may have time to check-in again but not sure as he is staying again tonight but I will have to check work e-mails so might have time to pop in, depending on how many e-mails I have to respond to.

Workout was 4DS Bootcamp/Upper body circuit premix w/ abs. I REALLY like this premix. Great sweat without being totally killer, it does 4 drills, upper, 4 drills, upper, 4 drills, upper, then abs- LOVE IT!

Hey August, Michele, Shannon, Dana, and Jennifer- Hope you all had great days and evenings! :)
