Bird #1 http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/animals/animal0018.gif : That dork still has seed out. What a dummy.

Bird #2 http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/animals/animal0018.gif : Oh, I thought she finally took it away...I see, it's now up on the air-conditioner motor unit on the balcony instead of down low on the edge. That for sure will make a big difference....NOT! TMAO! (Tweet)

Birds #1 http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/animals/animal0018.gif : Bock! Bock! Bock! Bock! Bohahack! Crackin' me up.

Morgnon!

It's a beautiful sunny day here in Tokyo and I've decided that since I haven't used my heater in the last few days, that it's time to put away the ol' humidifier! Woo!

And then.

I realized I have nowhere to store it. http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/indifferent/indifferent0005.gif

It's drying in the entrance. I've no idea what I'll do with it once it has dried.

Anyway, I'm sitting (on a foot rest LOL) at my dining table eating a whole wheat roll with natural peanut butter and sliced bananas, and washing it down with a soy red chai. It's a rest day, after all!

I just realized I'd meant to make a weekend check-in.

Anyway...

JENNIFER -

>Seville and Madrid have been rather energetic last night and today, a little spring fever maybe.

Woo hooo, huba huba!

I think Chami has been asking me (a bit frustrated) why I won't bring the bird back for her to watch. She sits hours on hours at the balcony and then she'll come out to ask me what the deal is, then she'll go back to the balcony. Poor baby, I'm desperate!

I might just have to do Michele's Plan B : Get a plant.

>What do you feed Mooch and Cham?

The King and Queen get Innova Evo, Solid Gold, Wysong, Orijen and Wellness. Their main wet is Innova Evo (unfortunately only one flavor is available here) and sometimes a Solid Gold tuna one, and the other brands are dry. They LUST over Wysong Pheasant.

For rewards they get 100% freeze-dried horsemeat or 100% chicken breast, and a few Greenies at night.

Then I get on my hands and knees and kiss them both from headsies to toesies and tell them how much I love them and worship them, and that I will do anything to please them no matter what the cost is, and that I will continue to look for new toys and ways to lure the evil birdies to the window for them and then I go and scrub their litter box. http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/ashamed/ashamed0003.gif

Achem.

We're looking forward to your Todd update!

So tell us more about eating banana peels - why and how?

JEN - Hi! Glad to see you here and feeling...well, I hope you're feeling better. That's nice that your sister is getting hooked up with some tickets via Chad/Ryan.

DANA -

>one question about the chairs, did you get a taller one for the kitties? That is the first thing I thought when I looked at them. That would be so cool for them to have a matching chair.

LMAO! No, I didn't get a spare chair, but I did purposefully choose chairs that had backs without any openings so that they could sleep on them and not fall through! http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/ashamed/ashamed0003.gif

>It is only 5 days from 9:00-noon, and it costs $150!!!! Personally, I think that is outrageous. I don't even pay $150 for a week of daycare and that is for 40 hours!!!! There was also another camp that he was interested in called Camp Invention which was for 5 days from 9:00-3:30 and that was $215. Do you guys find it expensive or is is just me?

Living in Japan has totally bunked up my thinking about money. I'm serious when I say that everything here is at least twice the amount you would or should pay for something (no wonder I never shop LOL). So I'm not one to say what I think, since it's nowhere near a price you'd have to pay for that in Japan.

>My mom is keeping the boys overnight and my DH and some other people are going out for dinner. Yippee!!!

YAY! Where did you go? What did you have? YUM!

MICHELE -

>The art work from the exhibition was for sale and I bought 2 watercolors.

That's great! Do you know already where you'll put them? I'm so happy for you that you were able to go after all.

>I probably would not actually flush the goop down the toilet -- LMAO!!

I....I knew that. http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/ashamed/ashamed0003.gif

Okay, I'm going to take a shower and then do some work. Have a lovely Sunday (it seems we're all having a rest day?)! Except Shannon who must be doing some cardio? LOL.

:* :* :*

Hello Haters.

It's orange peels. Why-cause they act like steel oats to clean out your system. My Dad being a vegan eats all kinds of weird stuff BUT he is quite healthy. Mayo suggested to help his recovery that he start eating beef again-after 30 plus years.

Yes, you'll be updated on Todd. Not expecting too much here. I know I'm different than most women he dates.

The Book, 101 Foods that could Change your life, is good so far.

It's going to be cold on my day off, well, great day to sleep in.

BBL- the men look fine on the blog. :D

Hey, Jennifer,

Oh, orange peels! I see. That would be easier than a banana peel LOL. Actually, that wouldn't be so bad, really.

OMG, I can't imagine a vegan starting to eat beef after 30 plus years. I mean, I haven't eaten beef in about ten years and I can't imagine the thought of it. Heck, I haven't eaten poultry for only like half a year and I can't imagine eating it now. Is your father going to try?

If you come across any good foods that might change our lives, do tell! Particularly if any of them have glaze on them.

I met my friend for a drink tonight...it's been almost a year since I saw her. We kept commenting on how neither of us had changed in that time....and I suddenly started thinking, "Especially my clothing and my hair style." LOL. I HAVE TO GO SHOPPING AND CUT MY HAIR OFF!!

:D

Hey haters, sorry I didn't make it back yesterday... I will try better to make it back today, LOL!!! :p

August- Thanks for the laugh with the bird conversations!! Oh, and remind me to tell you later about the kitty that's been hanging around... I was able to gain it's trust w/ chicken & it let me hold it! :D

I've already hit Meijer today & have everything put away, need to chop up some onion, green/red peppers, and roasted red peppers later. I think I am going to make slow cooker chicken tacos for dinner tonight. Bought a new seasoning I want to add to it and think I'll use Rotel & 1 cup salsa. I've been into roasted red peppers lately... strange, huh? I've also been craving weird foods that I normally DON'T EVEN LIKE!!! I've NEVER liked green/red peppers, onions, roasted red peppers, peas, mushrooms... and within the last 1-2 months I've been craving these things...what is wrong with me???

Okay, I need to remove my *ss from this chair and go workout... problem is I have NO CLUE what I should do today. I'd LOVE to do Drill Max but think I need to give it a week off so I'm thinking 4DSKB, CTX Kickbox-cardio/arm drills only, then B&G standing leg work... what to do, what to do???

I'll BBL to let you know!

Hello Haters.

Jen-Glad you're feeling well enought to workout, I got a nip of a cold so I decided to chill this weekend. Don't understand your cravings. Ask your doctor or a dietician.

My Dad finally ate beef again about 6 months ago. Fortunately, there is a GOOD former Dairy Queen in town so they have the best burgers in northern MI..Plus, at Mayo, they encouraged to have a steak. When I decided to allow myself beef once again, I did get ill on prime rib. But, now things are better but restrict my intake.

Seville and Madrd today are bird watching again. They must be able to see out eveyr window in the house cause some bird might fly by. The feeders near the house are empty but plenty of food on the ground still. Lots of new rabbits lately too.

Time for a long cat nap with my fave angel babies.
BBL

Afternoon... got all my produce chopped up and chicken, rotel, taco seasoning, spices, and some black bean/corn salsa in the slow cooker for dinner tonight. Have roasted red peppers I'm going to cut up later to put on the tacos along w/ fat free sour cream, salsa, onions, and peppers...YUM! Not sure what to have with them, might do a green giant potato/veggie mix.

My workout was 4DSKB,CTX Kickbox, & standing work from B&G.

Jennifer- Sorry you have a cold, hope you feel better soon. Keep us posted on the man front! Hopefully you are enjoying a quiet Sunday and getting your cat nap in? So glad to hear your dad is doing so well.

August - Did you find somewhere to store your humidifier? The kitty- okay so it was on my back deck last night so put some food out right by the back door & it was eating so I opened the door but stayed inside & "talked" to her. She talked back was still scared so I got some chicken & fed her from my hand & she eventually trusted me enough to pick her up. She has no tags on her collar so I'm going to keep trying to gain more of her trust if she continues hanging around and ask the neighbors if it's theirs & if not, maybe eventually bring her in... I don't think I can keep her but could keep her until I can find a home, which won't be hard... she is so cute. I'll post a picture here in a minute...

Michele- How is your Sunday?

Dana- What workout did you do today?

Okay, going to e-mail pic so I can post it. :)

OMG Jen that kitty is sooooo cute. I want her!!! What a sweetie!

Jen - hmmm, cravings, nausea - dare I even say what I"m thinking? Nope, won't even go there. ;) What workout did I do today? I did the 5 hour, sit on the couch and watch the What Not to Wear marathon. I want Stacey's wardrobe. She always has such pretty clothes on. Why don't one of you nominate me??????? I haven't worked out all weekend, ate crap too.

Michele - I can't believe you thought that the museum show ended yesterday. Silly! Your pics sound very nice. Where are you going to put them? When you buy them are they framed? Or don't you frame them? Can you tell I don't know much about art???

August - oh my - your kitties have your wrapped around their paws, eh? Can I tell you something that you may want to pass on to mom? When I had my malachi (RIP little baby), I didn't know much about cat food. So I was buying him the store brand at Wal-Mart. He got really ill and when I took him to the vet he had a blocked bladder, which led to me having to have him put to sleep. The vet told me that it was due to the high ash content from the cheap food I was feeding him. I felt horrible. Had I known that, I would never have fed it to him. So bottom line, don't skimp on pet food. You need to sneak into mom's apartment and get rid of that cheap food!!! LOL.

Jennifer - what kind of women does Todd usually date? I think he'd be crazy to not go out on a date with you.

Tomorrow is my day off of work. I think I"m going to get 3-4 inches cut off my hair. It is so long and heavy that it looks horrible.

Last night we went to Quaker Steak & Lube - it was nice. I had 2 strawberry dacquiri's - they were so good!!! My mom said that the boys were, 1/2 good and 1/2 bad. They really fight alot. Gabe thought it was great that he got to sleep on the couch with my mom's dog, Ceasar. When he stretches out, he is as long as the couch and weighs about 120lbs. He is a very big boy!

Have a great night everyone and I"ll try to check in tomorrow!!!

Hello Haters.
Back from my long nap, cleaned, laundry, and napped again. Still have a sore throat and my sinuses are messed up. Might try working out on Monday night or just wait till Tues.

The women that Todd usually dates, IMO, are more hardcore than I.
Their language is more colourful than mine and dress far more provactive than me too. He's one of those guys, IMO, that his job doesn't fit who he is. The money is good for what he does. Plasic injection molds for the automotive and furniture industries. Like I said, not expecting much. A friend at church, by surprise, introduced to this guy, asked me to help him with the Sunday school for his kids, then took off.

Planning on having a good week at work. Good reviews should come from last week, if not, it will still be fine.

Hiya!!

I just got home! DH and I have had a pretty busy weekend, and then we took dinner to his parents tonight. I just thought I'd pop in for a VERY BRIEF hello. I still want to try and squeeze a workout in before I go to bed. I have to work off at least one of my meals today :*

Do you remember that Lentil Sloppy Joe recipe I promised to post today? Well, how about if I post it tomorrow instead :p

OH!!! We polished off the leftovers today tossed with WW pasta and it was to.die.for!! It was kind of like Johnny Marzetti but with lentils instead of meat. Oh man, It was soooooo good! I sprinkled it with a little parmesan cheese and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I'm definitely putting this on my regular rotation.

Oh geez, I have to go. I really need to do that workout while I still have an ounce of energy and ambition. I'm sorry for the lack of personals and I'll make up for it tomorrow.

G'night :*

P.S. CUTE KITTY!!!!! :+

P.P.S. (or is it supposed to be P.S.S. -- I never know :p ) - CHECK THE BLOG!! OMG that Greg is sooooo cute. He has a beautiful smile :9 :D
