I've just finished Kathy Smith's Kickboxing workout. It was excruciating and I hated just about every minute of it (not the workout, just the working out http://www.pic4ever.com/images/flat.gif LOL) and I really, really had to force myself to get to the end of it, but I did it and I was totally thrilled when I finished.

I had a yummy smoothie (with All-Bran) and now I'm back in my pajamas and ready to face The Room!



JENNIFER - Glad to hear you're feeling better. I'll bet your babies are taking good care of you. Anyway, the weekend is just around the bend!

DIANE - Hope you're feeling better!

DANA - Boy can't get a Visa?! How very, very weird! Of all the weird reasons not to be able to tour in the States. It's downright...fishy!

When I was in high school Missing Persons came to Oregon and I skipped school so I could be the first to get tickets. You can imagine how psyched I was to find that my friend and I had snagged freakin front row seats!! We were sooo excited and it was all we could talk about............and then it turned out that nobody bought tickets to the show so they cancelled it http://www.pic4ever.com/images/184.gif . I was distraught!

I'll be sure to go in your honor if he makes to Japan. What a bummer!

This is my Friday today, Yahoo!!
It'll be a busy and a long day too.
Less than 48 hours till Kayaking time.

Alot of people are without power today and coming home from work last night, trees were fallen everywhere and today will be worse.

I've been staring at my 'puter for about 30 minutes, just slurping my coffee and trying to figure out where to begin. All I can think of is how much I want to go back to bed -- lmao!

Yesterday was brutal. I was with damily all day -- shopping and all sorts of stuff. We're having a little birthday celebration tomorrow for my nephew (he was born on the 4th of July). I bought him a digital camera (a much better choice than the violent wii games he had on his list ;-) ) and I ordered his cake -- a 2 layer chocolate with chocolate butter cream icing. I had NO CLUE how to have the cake decorated. He's turning 12 and that seemed a bit old to me for action figures, so I ordered one with a confetti and streamers theme.

I've been trying for 3 days now to talk to this caterer about a bridal shower for my nephew's fiance and I keep missing her -- ARRRRGGGGHHH! Hopefully I'll have better luck today.

AUGIE DOGGIE -- I hate the Kathy Smith kickboxing DVD. I bought it a couple years ago based on recommendations here and I tried it twice. I think I donated it to Goodwill .

JENNIFER -- My goodness, what happened? Did you guys have bad storms or something? I was out all day yesterday and didn't see the news so I don't know what happened in Michigan. What sort of plans do you have for the 4th? Will you get together with family for a cookout?

DIANE -- Awwwwwww, Ella's a little charmer for sure! It sounds like you're doing really well and I'm happy for you. It sounds like motherhood really agrees with you!

Hello Haters.

Thank GOD, the work week is OVER!!! Today was long, things were going well till about 3ish.

Yes, a major storm went through MI last night. 6 inches of rain in about an hour-they were talking hurricane type of storm but whether a funnel cloud went wild.

My plans for the 4th have changed. I was supposed to hang out with an old college roommate and his wife but now walking, surfing the net for another career, might clean, etc.. The kayaking is on Sat.. or more correctly floating down the AuSable.
