Hi there!
Sorry I didn't get around here yesterday. I took Mom to the hospital for the shot for the nerves in her neck, and saw the doctor and the doctor said that we can now try switching to pills (instead of shots 3x a week) since she's doing so much better. Yay!
So now Mom has to take pills. 3x. A day. Boo!
She'll do this for 2 weeks and then we'll go see the doctor again to see how that's going.
After that we had a nice 30 minute walk home. Then I took a nap, and then ended up being out until midnight blah blah blah came home, got in bed soon after, and then couldn't sleep until 4:30am LOL.
ANYWAY! I'm awake now and I'm done with my workout and my smoothie.
The Workout : Cardio & Weights, only I decided to do a premix, and I chose what turned out to be the wrong one. I decided I wanted to do cardio and upper body, so I chose what I thought would be it -- but it turned out to be upper body only, and after 15 minutes, it was finished! So I popped in Tamilee and did an arm section to round out my upper body 35 minutes.
The Smoothie : Frozen banana blueberry peanut butter whey bran smoothie. It was thumbs up. I bet it would taste even better without the powdered greens in it LOL.

> Stitches the Clown, huh? He looked totally creepy like a homicidal maniac
Puppet or not, clowns are creepy.
>is a swinger and an appetizer the same thing????
LMAO. Is that what they have written at Blue Note? You should see some of the awful English mistakes and weirdness they have in Japan. Sometimes it's awesome. Like one time I found (please - those with pure souls, forgive me) a sweatshirt being sold with Santa in his sleigh high in the sky, waving to the children with a big grin and rosy cheeks, and underneath the caption read : SANTA CLAUSE HAS COME IN MY TOWN!
Wait, did I write about that last year? Someone tell me I didn't.
Hey, were you able to find out what was giving Gannon pain? Was it a UTI? I hope he's okay.
The class for Gabe sounds like it was fantastic. I'm so glad to hear that. And I, too, am a fairly firm believer of not taking medicines, and I commend you for holding your ground on that issue, and helping Gabe find the healthiest route. And well, like Michele wrote and how the doctor mentioned, just see how things go. The options are always there down the road if absolutely needed. Certainly my mom did well with shots and didn't have to do any neck surgery, for which we're grateful.
Off hand your comments about the doctor sounded like she might be good, but how's your feeling for her?
>Instead I had a left over baked pork chop, asparagus, a baked sweet potato and sugar fee jello w/ff cool whip for dessert.
You saved yourself massive fat calories and heart-clogging junk, Dana! Good for you!!! That is really kicka$$!
> (being the hater I am, I didn't do the blasts cuz well, I hate them)
LMAO. I hear you. We all hear you. Good for you for doing your workout!
I hope you had a fun time celebrating your DH's birthday! The ice cream cake sounded yum!
DIANE - Rolling over? Already? OMG. How can that be? I mean, I still clearly remember you guys TALKING about getting pregnant. OMG. Anyway, it's nice to see you back!
JENNIFER -
>we're having subs, cake, and other high caloric food items that I won't resist.
LMAO! That's refreshing to hear! too funny. I wouldn't want to miss out either. You've been working out really regularly, so it shouldn't make a dent anyway.
So have you made contact with that guy who popped up again from a year ago?
MICHELE - Urgh, computers! Are we talking computer trouble, or internet trouble? If it's computer trouble, you know what we all have to say to that.
>I must admit, I was ROTFLMAO at you and the nude kitty bathing -- LMAO!!! You're so lucky Mooch didn't scratch your you-know-what, young lady
Don't you mean lucky that Mooch didn't scratch my you-know-whats? LOL. Whatever, I was lucky.
>I found kitty puke behind a chair once and God only knows how long it had been there.
LMAO! I wish my place were big enough to not be able to know how long barf had been somewhere! Wait, that doesn't sound right. Anyway, that must have been quite a surprise to pull the chair out and find a little gift LOL.
Urgh, the hair appointment sounds awful. Didn't that happen before? Are they going to give you some free treatment like you deserve?
JEN - Glad you're feeling better, and glad to you're taking it easy-ish. And thanks for the email. It was cute.
Good for you for taking a lunch! Were you happy to have something like that over nuts or whatnot?
Did you have a nice visit with Chad? You don't have to actually answer that. I know the answer.
ARISTA - Hey you!
>I mean really, what good is it to post in a Cathe forum checkin if I'm not working out?
I don't have time to look for an eye-roll icon today, but puhleeeze! If you'd been posting, you'd have known that I, too, started a rotation at the beginning of the year after a several month hiatus!
You got two kittens, too! Wow! Are they siblings? What are their names? Are they totally having fun?
Now, what is this about Ryan and a house and maybe having babies and stuff?
Somebody update my brain - did you guys marry? Did I know that? Wait, wait, it's coming back to me...you proposed and he'd said yes? Is that right?
On that emoticon-less note, I must go and work now. I'm in my work room with a small heater on...and no humidifier, and now I can really tell the difference in the air.
On a similar note, my giant humidifier has been having indigestion and burps bubbles very loudly every few minutes. I looked up in the manual how to correct it, and it said that air was being trapped, so to take the water jug part out, turn it over and release the air, and that's what I've been doing..several times a day. It totally bugs me! Not to mention it bugs Mooch!
But it's better than being dry, eh?
I know. I gotta call the store and ask them what to do. Hhh. Monday, I guess.
Okay, WORK!
Have a nice day!! :*
ETA : At the end of the year, someone sent me a lovely big box of apples -- and yesterday, someone else sent me a lovely big box of apples. I could sell apples. I have that many. I could vend apples. LOL.
