August

Cathlete
Morning! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/happy026.gif

So I went to a wedding party the other night and a friend of mine got drunk and stripped until he was completely naked, then he jumped up and down behind where the bride and groom were seated LMAO. Everyone was cracking up, taking photos and cheering him on.

Yeah, and people think Japanese are conservative.

Today I have all four squirrels while Mom goes out for lunch with two of her friends. I finished up S&H calves & shoulders and made a smoothie discovery : frozen non-sweetened apple sauce, peanut butter whey protein, soymilk, some non-sweetened cocoa powder and bran make a KILLER smoothie (notice - no greens LOL).

Tomorrow is Mom's birthday and my rotation very timely calls for a day of rest yay, so my brother and I are taking her for movies and then that Italian restaurant we couldn't get in for Christmas. It's a killer restaurant folks, and even on regular non-holiday days, you have to really do your best to get a reservation ONE MONTH in advance. I plan to indulge as much as humanly possible.

MICHELE -

>So August, what do you think of late night workouts? -- LMAO!!

You know, it wasn't bad at all! And having a late night smoothie wasn't bad either! And slipping into pajamas after working out was pretty good!

Problem is, I don't think I'd want to do any other workout late at night except for Slow & Heavy. It's kind of the lullaby of weight workouts. I guess that's why I love it so.

>I almost did some cardio at about 11PM last night but decided to go to bed instead

Oh man, no, I wouldn't be able to find the cardio in me after 1pm LOL.

>You don't use a word processor?

I hear that word a lot - word processor. I wonder what it is. LMAO.

>My DH informed me this morning -- let me clarify -- LATE this morning, that he is leaving for a trip TOMORROW!!!

Love that man! LMAO!

DANA - I'm glad to hear that Ralphie is better - what happened? Well, anyway, what an evening you had. That sounds totally exhausting. You shouldn't feel like a sloth. With all that running around and doing stuff, you're getting way more cardio than those of us who spend their days sitting on their sofas playing Nintendo DS Lites. But really, you are very active in general, even without working out.

(Haha, I'm just now reading Jen writing the same thing.)

JENNIFER -

>Yes, I did preorder the new workouts on the first night.

LMAO. You and Michele! Well, we expect full reports!! I guess in a few months LOL.

JEN - Glad to hear things are going so well with you and Chad! That's great! It must be fun for Jenny to see you guys together.

>SO... how long do we have you back in town this time?

I have another trip this weekend. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/ad/horse.gif

On that, I better get to work...so that I can go to work this evening. Urgh, gotta pull out my The Winter Outfit LOL.

Later! :D

Good Morning Haters.

Hoping to have a Great Day at work today for you all and myself. I heard strange noises last night around my house but nothing came of it, which is good.

Happy Birthday to Mrs. August from here in MI!!

Slowly getting back into working out.

BBL

Gooooooood morning Hater's!!

I'm in a bit of a rush this morning -- I'm expecting a repairman early this morning and I have to clear a path to the area where he needs to work -- gawd, my house is a sty  :p

Did I do my workout yesterday, you ask? No, no I didn't http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/ashamed003.gif

**GASP** How come nothing like that ever happens here? -- LMAO! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/sex018.gif

I hope your mom has...er..had a wonderful day! How was dinner at the Italian restaurant? what did you get?

Robin - Hey you! How are you? It sounds like things are crazy at work. I think you'll have lots of time to preorder STS, by the way. It will take them forever to film that thing, but I know what you mean about starting a pre-sale this time of year -- January through March is when we have the most expenses. I probably should've waited to preorder but I just couldn't help myself -- I'm so dang greedy -- LMAO! }(

Hello to Dana, Jennifer, Jen, and everyone else! I really have to go now and get cracking before that repair guy gets here. I'll BBL for sure :* :* :*

P.S. I have a Mac question. Why can't I post in the forums when I use the Mozilla browser? I love Mozilla so much more than Safari but it will not let me post in Cathe's forum. As soon as I hit "post message", it takes me back to log in page, so I log in again, and then it brings me back to a blank posting page --- Grrrrrrrrr x(

Good morning ladies.

Hey Jennifer - I did PUB last night too (just the pyramid up section) so ^5 for us for doing the same workout!!!!

Aug - tell your mom Happy B-Day!!! What movie are you going to go and see? S&H is a lulaby of a workout? You are a certified nutcase!!! LOL

Michele - the nerve of that DH of yours not telling your right away about his plans. You need to treat yourself to brekkie @Tim Hortons.
What is in need of repairs at your house?

Hi Robin!!!! Hi Jen!!!! And anyone else lurking in hatertown.

P.S. Today was my weigh in and I lost 1.6 lbs.

Hey youse!!

Jennifer - I guess we posted at the same time earlier this morning! I love the pyramids -- especially the pyramid down premix. I'll pray about your work situation, too.

Dana -- Actually, my DH did let me know about his meeting right away. He was scheduled to participate via conference call, but since his research is the topic of discussion the organizers thought it best for him to be there in person. He probably could've said no, but that might have a negative impact on getting funding for his research.

The repairs weren't anything too major -- I needed some work done on our security system. It didn't take long at all, thank goodness! Johnny kitty hates repairmen  :7

WOO HOO and ^^^5's your workout and your weight loss, Miss Dana!!! There is no power on earth that can drag me to a scale this week

Alrighty, I'm heading out to a computer store. They're having a huge sale, so I'm hoping to snag MS Office for Mac real cheap.:p

I didn't want to get on the scale b/c I had a bad weekend but I'm committed so I did. I want to show a loss like the do on Biggest Loser. A 30-lb loss and then I could be done!!! HA!!!!!

I'm starving - we're having a luncheon & we're waiting on 1 person to get here. She better HURRY UP!!!!!

Hey Dana - are you into The Biggest Loser? I don't really like the show that much but, I must admit, I've watched it a few times. The results some of those contestants get are truly amazing!

Watcha having at your luncheon? I had a bowl of homemade bean soup. It had black bean, kidney beans, black eyed peas, split peas, great northern beans, and lentils, along with chopped tomatoes and red peppers. It was really yummy! :9

I don't watch Biggest Loser that often. But holy crap they sure lose a lot of weight per week.

We had BBQ on rolls (aka sloppy joes, depending on where you live), ham & string bean soup, chips, veggies, cheese & crackers, choc cake w/pb icing and dove chocolates. I ate just a bit of everything.

So did you workout yet? If so did you do? Tonight is CCD so I don't know if I"ll have time to squeeze something in when I get home. We usually don't get home til about 8:10, then til we settle in and I give Gannon his bath I just don't know if I"ll have anytime. My glasses came in at Wal-Mart vision so I'm going to pick them up tonight. Ralphie chewed up my other pair. I also got new bedding for my bedroom and when I pulled the bed skirt out of the dryer it is totally wrinkled. Guess what I don't own??? An iron. So I"m going to have to pick up a cheap one of those tonight. I ordered a set that came with bedskirt, shams, quilt & comforter and then I got new sheets and curtains to match. If I have time I'll post the link. It is from JCPenney.

Here is the bedding that I got, along with the curtains, along with the sheets on this same page. I got the white sheets.
