HATE - crazy posting virus hits Hatesville! March 15

August

Cathlete
STAND BACK! YOU MIGHT CATCH THE HATESVILLE POSTING VIRUS! If caught, it will make you post several nonsense posts to achieve goals that are useless to daily living! STAND BACK!

When I woke up and logged on and saw how many posts there were in yesterday's thread, I totally cracked up!!

That, my PMS and the unimaginable price of Stalk this morning - it's almost more excitement than I can take!

I got up, read, lounged, sold Oogi's radishes, helped Oogi catch a few big fish for the fishing tournament on Sunday, took a huge nap, and am now ready to continue working.

Michele - What a link to find to inspire you and rev you on about Italy! Very pretty!

>Edited to change the fireworks display. The last one was icky.

BAHAHAHA!

So when do the sandals arrive? Are they a brand you've worn before? I mean, is there hope? LOL.

Deb - Of course I finally put my foot down to work and then sleep just as the fun was beginning. Shall we make it to two hundred today? LOL.. You don't like seafood, either? What's wrong with you and Michele?!

Arista - August wedding! August wedding! I must say that IS the best month of the year. Tropical but not Hawaii and not a ton of money...hmm. Thailand?

>I should've just passed him a note like this:
>If you want to marry me, check this box:
>If not, check this box (and pack your stuff):

LMAO on the pack your stuff bit!

I'm sure you'll find a ring that suits your taste and your comfort level, and that it will be awesome no matter what it looks like or how much it costs. And we want to hear about your picking it out so don't skimp on the details.

Okay, so is there a BETTER name for a fish-eating vegetarian than "pescatarian"? LOL. Pescatarian?! It sounds like something Sylvester the Cat would complain about. Can you imagine going out to dinner with friends and spitting on everyone when you told them you don't eat meat saying, "I'm Pehhhscatehhhhrian!"

Diane - That's so great about your parents and their losing weight! I remember when you were talking about your concern for your mom in particular. You've been a healthy influence on them!

Robin -

>I can not believe how long this is. Has anyone posted anything at all about doing a workout today?

OMG, LMAO!

I'm sorry to hear about the Uncle who passed away. I hope the services will be peaceful and warm.

MSY - Hi, MSY!

>(Insert fake outrage.)

LOL!!

Becky - Hi, Becky!

Shelley - Hi, Shelley!

>You know, when you want something done, you just have to do it yourself.

LMAO! Congrats on the winning post.

Corrie - I laughed out loud to see you guess Shelley posting next and then Shelley's response.

Dana - Ooh, now that was a really good Cliff Notes version of yesterday's thread.

Mariah - Oh no! A lost long post?! That sucks.

>NO the twins are not mine LOLOL im 61 years old Hell if they were mine id not be posting id be pulling my hair out instead. Or basking in my wealth for having a baby at 61 after my tubes were tied almost 20 years ago

LMAO LMAO!

Heather - Hi, Heather!

Terri - Hi, Terri!

Jen - Hi, Jen!

Hi, work room!

Here I come.

Nutballs Anonymous Check-in

You crazy girls! I just about fell over when I logged in for a few minutes before work and saw 30 posts before 8:00 a.m. Did y’all have a pajama party without me? :7 Is this your idea of settling down?! I did a double take because I was almost certain that someone resurrected an old thread by mistake. ;-) We definitely need to rename this check-in! I vote for Chatterboxes on Crack Check-in! :7 Do you realize that we out-chatted the Cheetahs AGAIN?! Math is not my strong suit (as I am a lover of words), but I think we out-chatted all the check-ins combined (keeping in mind that some of these are weekly check-ins).

Becky, this is all your fault. These people were relatively sane before you joined. Actually, they were always nuttier than rum-soaked fruitcakes, but they contained their insanity to a reasonable number of posts. :7

Arista, congratulations!!! My birthday is in August. I will eat cake in your honor. :)

August, I am the one who sent the PMS your way. Hugs to Shelley for taking the blame for me! I do not eat seafood either. I am allergic. I have not had any meat since New Year’s Eve.

Shelley, I am just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Dallas. It is the closest big city to me. I do not go there often because I hate driving on the BIG ROAD. That is my hate check-in for today. It is a great place to go shopping. If I keep training hard with Cathe, I may be ready for a shopping spree! Are these the famous Texas girls that you are planning to visit? Where have they been? I have not seen Pinky and friends post in months.

Corrie, thank you! I will do my best to keep checking in with y’all! :)

Michele, you are one workout closer to Texas Sheet Cake!!! :7

Robin, I am so sorry. I will keep your family in my prayers.

As for me, I am going to be an aunt all over again. My brother and sister-in-love are expecting a new baby just before Thanksgiving! I was feeling sad because my niece is walking and growing up too fast. I am so excited and happy to have a new baby on the way! :7

I started Lent a week early on Valentine’s Day and have officially been free of chocolate and cheese for a month. I decided to fast cheese and chocolate for 40 days. Twelve more sleeps to chocolate and Cabot extra sharp white cheddar cheese! :) Not together in case you were wondering! ;-)

By the way, I tried to post this earlier tonight. The server was down. Y’all crashed the server! If Cathe happens to wander in here, she might think twice about hosting a Road Trip this year. I do not think Chris is ready to chaperone this bunch. ;-) Speaking of the Road Trip, I am having a Road Trip crisis. What shoes will I wear? :7 When I do IMAX3, I change shoes during the recovery segments. I went through 5 different pairs of shoes for the 10 intervals the last time I did IMAX3! Oh my stars! How many shoes can I fit in my suitcase?!

Please behave today. Y’all are absolutely wearing me out with all these posts. :*

Blessings,
Heather B.

RE: Nutballs Anonymous Check-in

Hi, Heather!

>I think we out-chatted all the check-ins combined (keeping in mind that some of these are weekly check-ins).

And a crash in the system?!

LMAO!!

So it is you who I must thank for the PMS! (Though I do thank Shelley, too, as she must have sent a bit over as well.) It's been such a psychological relief to put a label on my ailment :+ . Now I have free right to eat whatever I please because I know my body "needs" it. And here I was worried that I was going through some kind of low motivation week. :7

Oh, lucky you to becoming an Aunt again! (not talking about ants here, Michele, rest at ease ;) )

>Twelve more sleeps to chocolate and Cabot extra sharp white cheddar cheese!

You're a strong woman! 40 days! Have you felt changes in yourself good (and bad? }( )

>Not together in case you were wondering!

One after the other, eh? Heh.

Too funny about what shoes for you to bring to the Cathe retreat! Wow. Is there no All-Star shoe? Maybe Michele could send you the shoes she won't be wearing?

RE: Nutballs Anonymous Check-in

hooo hummm....workin away.........jussss me......workin...........I wonder if everyone is having a nice deep sleep............

RE: Nutballs Anonymous Check-in

MORNING CRACK HO'S!!!!

I see we're not TOO chatty this morning. What up with that?

August - are you feeling okay? Your post is brief, comparatively. Did you find some inspiration yesterday for your music? I can always spare some PMS. It never really goes away, it just kind of goes dormant for a couple of weeks.

Heather - you change shoes FIVE TIMES DURING IMAX 3? Girl.... well, I just don't even know what to say to that:p And yes, it's the famous (or infamous) Texas girls that I'm planning to visit. And I gave up chocolate and all (sweet) baked goods for Lent. I keep going to the pantry and staring at the cookies. Yesterday, while paying for my gas, I became mesmerized by the chocolate bar display. It's quite possible I was drooling. The guy behind the counter looked frightened.

All right, let's get posting!

RE: Nutballs Anonymous Check-in

I am here, in a HAZMAT suit, TRYING not to catch the dreaded virus!!!!!

But I am also running late (maybe everyone else is too?? where IS everyone this morning???) so I am just popping in to say Good Morning and have a good Friday Eve !

Heather, are you giving me credit, or blaming me for stirring things up here??? I need to know which it is first before I decide to accept responsibility for all of this!!:p ;-)

Hi August, Heather and Shelley .......was there anyone else on yet today?? Can't remember.....forgive me if I'm missing you...... Gotta run!

RE: Nutballs Anonymous Check-in

Goodmorning haters. I feel right at home here today. I'm in a foul, hateful mood and may spontaneously combust before the day is over. Stand back.

August, I'm glad to hear the Stalks sold high. Congrats on the large fish too.

Heather, there are shoe stores in PA/NJ. You can just pack your basic half dozen or so, and pick up whatever else you need for the Road Trip here.

Shelley, how are the TX crew? Do any of them post anymore. I definitley miss Pinky. I made it through yesterday without any chocolate or cookies. I did have a Kashi bar, which is a pseudo-cookie, but I keep telling myself it's high in fiber and protein. I ignored the high amount of fat.

Cathe's rotation calls for a 45 min run today. The forecasters are calling for heavy rain and flood warnings. Hmmmm. What to do, what to do? Guess I'll pull something purely cardio off the shelf and step for 45 min. Or maybe something kickboxy. I haven't Powerstruck for a lifetime.

I hope you all keep quieter today. I really couldn't keep up and felt quite out of the loop yesterday. Y'all know how much I hate being out of the loop.

Hi to Deb, Diane, Dana, Kara, Arista, Jen, Michele, Terri, Becky and anyone else who drops in today.

RE: Nutballs Anonymous Check-in

OMG! POSTS! :p

Shelley - Hello! PMS is running strong and wild! If it doesn't come tomorrow, why, why, I'll bite off someone's head just to prove I was wrong! And I'm still working away....Wow. Lent. It's obviously powerful.

Becky - Come back! You know you have the virus. You know you do. }(

Robin - Hi there! Ooh, rain. Jogging out in the rain would be romantic, wouldn't it? Okay, maybe not. But if you're in a combustible mood, the rain would keep you safe.

Good morning! Good morning!

ROTFLMAO at todays thread title!

August, I was here last night and going to post, but then the heavens erupted into a crazy and scary major big thunderstorm, so I shut the computer down and went to bed. I love to lay in bed and listen to the rain.

THE PHONE!!! Arrrggggghhhhh

Oh goody! Michele!

Oooh, I love to be in bed and listen to the rain pour down, too. It's nice to turn off the lights and look outside, too.

Come to think of it, it would be fun to see Robin running in it.

:)

RE: Nutballs Anonymous Check-in

Good morning haters. I'm getting in here, now, before the madness begins. LOL

August - so were you able to finish your song yesterday? You will so enjoy this: last night I told Gabe to go up and get his shower, didn't hear the water on so I went up to check on him and he was getting ready to get in the shower but you're never gonna guess what he was going to take in the shower???? His Gameboy. WTH?!?!? They are NOT waterproof. What was he thinking? So maybe they need to make a waterproof Gameboy. Who knows! I forgot, no mentioning of a workout to you, so I won't.

Robin - sorry about Jay's Uncle. I love the rain so I say definitely do your run in the rain. Plus, today may be the last day you get out to run for a week or so, did you see we're supposed to get 3-6 inches of snow! Yuck!!!

Shelley - Good morning! I think you asked me yesterday how old my kiddos were. Gannon is 17 months and Gabe is 5 1/2 (he'll be 6 in April) and they definitely keep me busy! I wasn't very busy at work yesterday but could not keep up with this craziness so I said the he!! with it!!

Heather - you are nuts! You seriously change your shoes during IMAX3? I've never heard of such a thing. Not like I do IMAX3. Perhaps if I tried the shoe changing thing, I'd enjoy the workout? Na, doubt it! You're gonna need 2 suitcases for a weekend trip.

Michele - I do like the sandals you posted yesterday. They look comfy.

Becky - yeah, you started this whole virus thing. Suppose you're a bad influence?

Arista - You said you need to lose weight so I am TELLING you, do not go to one of those weight loss clinics, they are such a rip off. They try to sell you their supplements and tell you that you NEED their products in order to lose weight. A friend of mine went to one and spent hundreds of dollars and even though two of us offered to help her and she could save her money she refused. She thought this woman that ran the center was God. I think they brainwashed her. I did WW before and I lost 30lbs in 4 months. If you are interested, I can e-mail you about it. I did it at home just using different resources and I did it for free!

Last night I walked 4 miles while Gabe was at his class. I was planning on walking today at lunch but right now it is pouring rain. Tonight will be pilates and tomorrow morning I will weigh myself. (frightening).

My boss gave me a very tedius and boring job. I have to review 340 files.x( I have no deadline but do you know how crappy that is going to be?????

Hi to Jen, Mariah, Deb, Kara, Cora, MSY and whoever I forgot.

P.S. When I think of Mariah I think of pancakes and I surely could eat some buttermilk blueberry pancakes with blueberry syrup and some bacon. Oh and some coffee since I haven't had any since Ash Wednesday.

On Easter morning, I am having this: 1 pot of coffee, unlimited amout of coconut cookies, some peanut butter eggs and peeps. Then I'll collapse and die from sugar shock.

Later taters!

I adore running in the rain.

Dana - those kids must keep you VERY busy. I only have one 9-going-on-23 year old and she keeps me hopping! Ha! That's cute that Gabe wanted to take his Gameboy in the shower!

RE: Nutballs Anonymous Check-in

WEIRD! How did I miss your post, Dana?!

Send Gabe to me! We are so meant for each other! What a cutie! I totally know how he feels.

I finished the song but without much satisfaction so I'm trying a different one now.

Great walk - 4 miles. Were you just walking around on the street? (Don't mean that to sound seedy. :) )

What does "review" consist of?

>On Easter morning, I am having this: 1 pot of coffee, unlimited amout of coconut cookies, >some peanut butter eggs and peeps.

Oh wow, that sounds pretty freakin good, and I'm not even following any Lent.

How totally confusing! The posts are flying around back and forth, here and there! It's the virus! The virus!
