Hardcore Rotation Checkin For Saturday Aug 6

If anyone's out there today -- here's the checkin.

Today was my scheduled rest day, but I did TLP Functional Foundations Core Cardio. Next time I do this I will remember to get my rebounder out, as there was quite a bit of jumping (which my back doesn't like). I also did Power Half Hour Stretch.

Hi Lora ~ What are you doing up so early on the weekend? Do you have to work today? Did you do those jumping jacks, etc. at work?

Today is Imax 3, but I think I'm going to do some steady state cardio. I may run outside or on the treadmill. It depends on what time I get this done. Then I'll do those 20 what-cha-ma-call-its from BC! My dh and I have an appointment this morning. It's supposed to be a scorcher here today. I just can't run outside in this heat. How do you girls do it?

Marietta ~ Thanks for the info on losing muscle definition. That helped. A friendly reminder to eat clean always keeps me on track! The weekends can sometimes be tough.

Diane Sue/Susan ~ Not to beat a dead horse, but you like the premixes better on SJP/SB? I'm going to get CTX, but not the new DVDs. I hope I won't regret that.

Diane Sue ~ Are you counting down the days?!

We have plans on taking the kids to the pool. Not much else you can do when it's so hot.

I don't have imax3 so I will be doing imax2 then the thrust thingies:) Later in the day I am going to do either muscle max or ME or maybe power hour. I won't know until the time gets here :) I am doing bootcamp twice tomorrow instead of a rest day so wish me well!

Dallas let me know how ctx is. I think I will order it after my vacation. I just ordered the Rythmic step,mic, imax dvd. I almost ordered both at the same time but I of course had to remember I just paid for my upcoming vacation and didn't! I really want that series though.

Hope everyone has a great day and great workouts. Right now I have no clue when I will get started on mine as I have no motivation yet. I will do it though as I always do or I will feel bad about myself. Ok thants a rant for another thread :)

hi everyone, today was imax3 and the squat thrust climbers and I added on the stretch max1. All I can say thank goodness tomorrow is a rest day, my quads are still sore from all those walking lunges yesterday.
 
Hello!

Thought I would stop in real quick and post. Today was KPC and an evening walk with my family. Plus packing and running to Peoria (50 minutes away) to pick up a few things for vacation. I knew I would end up having to go again! LOL! I have all three boys finished but a few odds and ends. Mine is real close. Yea!!

Today was Hsch cardio, followed by C&W cardio and compound premix, stop at core, then GS back & Biceps timesaver, C&W core, HSch core and stretch I ma not sure where I am going from here. I will be up early Monday to meet my son at a car dealer to leave his Dad's truck for maintenence. He has been so much help for me. I will try and get in a hard workout. I would love to be doing Cathe's Aug rotation but at this point cannot give it justice. I see you all doing it. I am really missing the SS blasts and the PP 3 sets upper I will figure out something LOL. I always do. And I find out today I am up for a 35th class reunion. I thought they were every ten years LOL

Dallas, You are not beating a dead horse. I think Ctx is great. I really don't think I ever followed it as a do only series as I was spending a lot longer on my routines than than this. It does have incredible cardio and weight segments. Not long but very effective. If you want to feel like you accomplish something in a short amount of time these would be it. SJP/SB I love step blast. The cardio on SJP seems a little light, except maybe about three HI LO segmnents, there are four, one is low impact. The weight work seems easy if you have been doing other Endurance tapes, but this is a circuit type workout. I use the Step blast premix with the higher intensity blasts a lot. I also add in step or floor only to cardio segments from SJP. I hardly do the weights on this. I tend to look at this one from a cardio only standpoint. The music makes it fun. Even my grandchildren want to do the Hi LO segments And yes I am counting the days, 8!!
