Morning -
This morning I did P90X Kenpo X followed by Quick Fix Pilates for abs. I used my Med Ball and tried to use my Pilates circle for the abs but most of the stuff was done with one leg, so it didn't work. Since the med ball makes me get a lot more sore from Pilates, I've decided to try doing it with a med ball and ankle weights from now on, or use my Pilates ring when I can.
I also did Eion Finn's Power Yoga for Happiness "Strong, Happy & Free" premix. I never did this premix before. It had a lot of stuff I never have done before. It was a lot of arm balances and back bends. I had to modify quite a bit. I did do some of the side arm balances....we'll see how my shoulders handle it.
Speaking of shoulders - I wore a racer back top working out this morning and during the blocking section in Kenpo X, I really noticed my shoulders again. They are getting defined and they look shaplier. Actually, my shoulders and upper arms are starting to look better. I wish my biceps would catch up.
Diana Sue - I was howling during that yoga tape. There is a dog in the tape that you see from time to time and in this particular premix, I was about 38 min into it and they show the dog sitting on his hind legs with his paws up on a little baby sticky mat. It was hilarious. I kept rewinding it to make sure I saw what I thought I saw. He looked like he was trying to do yoga with them. I think it must be Eion's dog. My DH came in from running about 1 minute after I saw it.....so I asked him to come see this and rewound it for him. He was cracking up. He said the dog must like to do yoga with them. I wish you had this DVD so you could see him. I've never seen anything so cute.
