Morning Fit Ladies -

This morning was supposed to be a rest day and I was going to do light aerobics and some restorative yoga. I went down on the treadmill listening to Buckcherry and before you knew it, I was doing more intense aerobics. I did about 40 min on the Elipitcal and Treadmill and then I did Shape Abs (Pilates style) with a med ball and Yoga Radiance Lunar Segment (restorative yoga practice). I finished off with about 15 minutes of Erich Schiffman's Lotus DVD which is a bunch of prep poses for Lotus...good leg stretches and hip openers.

Diana Sue - what poses did you find are the ones causing you the discomfort in yoga? I know I get really bad inner thigh/hamstring pain and I can't figure out what yoga poses do that to me. I'm thinking it might be from going really deep in Warrior and Triangle? but I'm not sure. My hamstrings and sciatica did bother me all last week from that little bit of running on the treadmill. I'm gonna have to build up to it. (p.s. Did you only take 1 rest day during your recovery weeks with P90X or 2?)

Have great workouts or rest days (if anyone's around today). We're probably going to Clerks II and my Super Ex-Girlfriend this week. I've got some new Lush Bath bombs and I'm off to put the groceries away and soak in the tub.

I'll be back later.

Good Morning,
I am going to get a late start here. I plan on doing some cardio, Jari Love's lower body segments off of Slim & Lean, and ab work. Not sure which ab workout though.

Lora, I am not sure which poses caused the problem yet. I can do Shatki basic flow with no problem, I did all of the dancing warriors, core and inversion this week and did not have problems. I think part of it is trying to stretch those muscles to far. If I feel to much pull I back off a little. I want to see My Super Ex girlfriend. We saw Click, Little Man, and Superman this last week. Oh and Cars because of the grandchildren:)

Hi to everyone

HI,
Todays workout ended up being 1/2 mile treadmill runs and doing lower body segments from Jari Loves slim & Lean. Then I did TJ Lower body jam, I followed this with Core Max #3 and 2 sets of 15 hanging knee raises with a 10# med ball, ball woodchops with 15#med ball,40#barbell rollouts on knees, 30 each side torso twists with 10# med ball.

Lora, I forgot to tell you that I usually did 1 rest day with P90X.

Hi Diana Sue - I guess it's just us again today! Good workout you got in, as always. My Seasun SUS DVD snap closure broke, so I emailed Seasun asking her for a new case. I also asked her if she thinks I could learn Rock Steady STep since I have difficulty picking up coreography and it's supposed to be more difficult. She's sending me a copy to try for 3 weeks and if I like it, I can pay her then. She said to "be patient". She also said SUS is her favorite workout. I'm nervous about trying Rock Steady. The girls on VF say it's really hard to learn.

Charlotte - WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU???????????

Hey Maniacs!!!

Well today is my rest day. Nothing to report. Tried to look at a home today and almost didn't make it back. Was in the backwoods and on a very bad gravel road that made me feel like we would never get our car out of there so no bothering trying to look at the home on a road like that...eeek!

O.k., seen the Lady in the Water yesterday. Was a complete bomb! I can't even post about the movie being so bad without getting flamed...good grief! See, this is why I don't post much anymore...RETARDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just enjoying my day.

Lora,

Thanks for the cd's AGAIN! I will just burn Deftones for ya and then you can tell me what you think. My shoulder is still aching so I am frustrated as I got to work my chest/back tomorrow and don't want to keep putting it off.

Charlotte~~

Lora, that is great that you get to try Rock Steady. I like mine enough I never sold it as I knew once I got it I would like it. After doing the last half ( I liked the music better here) I thought I really need to learn the whole thing. The abs on the end are good as well. I still have not gotten SUS real well yet. I did manage to keep up with 4 grandchildren hanging around me this time. I usually lose my concentration. It takes me a long time to learn difficult choreography. When I learned Totally Cool step it took every other day to learn but I kept at it as I liked the music. Good luck with it.

Charlotte, I was borderline whether I even wanted to see that movie. I lean toward comedy and action adventure movies anyway. Sorry it did not turn out looking at the house today. Hopefully you find just what you want. When we bought this one we looked for a long time, narrowed it down to 3 and then kept finding ourselves back here asking to look at this one. We even rented it to the owners after we bought it because they were waiting on their home to be finished. One had a great round drive in front but the drawback was carpeted baths, loads of brown on the walls from the little old lady chain smoker, and the back was a mass of paths and rose bushes, the other was nice with 4 bedrooms and an office, game room for the pool table, and a pool. That one was 2nd but there would have been quite a bit of remodeling,ie the old colonial style cabinets and old stove in the kitchen and again too much carpet. As far as hindsight this one was remodeled in the Sante Fe style we wanted but we had a broken pipe in the kitchen, work on the heater, replaced the air unit and did other plumbing. So you never know what you are going to get. Good luck

OK Charlotte, I read the open discussion. I am sorry you had to deal with that just by making a statement about a movie. It is obvious what you were saying. It makes me want to go on trying to keep my mouth shut. Enough said I guess.

Hello everyone..remember me?? hehe!

Char Charm just popped in to say how silly the open fourm is. Sorry you are getting blasted up there. I know what you were trying to say and I know you were not being ugly by what you were saying. It's silly how people find a reason to get offended by little stuff these days. Hopefully this will go away!

Diane Sue-I think you expressed your thoughts quite well with that topic. Nicely put!

Ok, so hello to everyone else!! Hope you guys are all doing great!
