Ugh.........I'm so sick of working. This one day off a week stuff sucks. Can't wait 'till the New Year.

I chose something easy this morning, as I'm still having a lot of pain. I did Denise Austin's new Bootcamp workout. I only used 5-10 pound DB's and for the Kettlebell segment, I used my 10 & 15 lber. It was an okay workout. I did most of the cardio on the Rebounder to avoid stress to my side, back. Workout was 54" and I burned 454 calories.

Deb - I wish I could be as disciplined as you are with my diet. I think I love to eat a little too much and I get grouchy when I'm hungry.

This morning I am going to do some cardio and lower body. I will probably use the treadmill and do some hills. Yesterday's eating was not so good. I had an I don't feel like cooking day. So ended up with a lot of carbs.
post workout- after shock
lunch-salad with black beans, salsa and fat free dressing
snack- plain yogurt with 1 Tbs of dried cranberries
dinner- new Eat Clean Cookbook Mexican Soup used chick peas because I was out of Kidney beans
snack-protein powder with plain yogurt and raisins
 
Workout is done. I started with 1 mile on the treadmill moving up to a level 8 incline to w/up, then I did Kettlebell Goddess legs and butt workout, I followed this with step ups and kettlebell swings, I finished off with 2.5 miles on the treadmill moving up to a level 12 incline and then back down the hill, finished with the Kettlebell Goddess stretch Total calories burned today 875, 30% fat, 1 hr 42 minutes, Max HR was 168 avg 136, in zone 25 minutes.
Kettlebell workout:
Box Pistols 2 sets 6 reps 20# kettlebell
front squat 3 sets 6 reps 35# kettlebell
1 leg deadlift 3 sets 4 reps 35# kettlebell(after the low squats my back really felt this
step back lunge passing kettlebell around front leg 2 sets 12 reps 35#
good morning 3sets 6 reps: 1 set 35#, 2 sets pair 20's
1 swing, 1 clean, 1 snatch repeat 5 times switch hands
added 3 sets 12 reps 14# step ups 1 set 25# kettlebell, 2 sets 20's
50 kettlebell swings 25# 30 sec rest
2 sets 25 reps 35# kettlebell swings with 30 sec rest
50 hand to hand swings 20#
 
Hello all,

Felt like crap this morning so no workout for me. Especially since it was suppose to be Kenpo X and I just don't think my shoulders could have handled it.:confused:
 
Linda-check out the broomstick shoulder stretch on youtube. I started doing it a few days ago and it has made a HUGE difference in my shoulder impingement.

I HAVE HEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay
I did weights and steady state today. Also, I kept my eating at 100%. I get my "free" meal in a few hours :D
