Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did Margaret Richards (part of) Knockout Workout. I did the cardio and upper body and then popped it out cuz she went to the floor for leg work and I hadn't burned enough calories....so I put in an Exercise TV workout with Michael Carson. Workout was 60" and I burned 425 calories. Didn't really like my workout....but at least I did something. Will do something better tomorrow.

Yesterday was a looooooooonnng day. My feet and back were killing me. I was busy from 8:00 am to about 3:30 pm ...but then it sort of died down. I think I rang the most merch I've ever rang, as last year at this time we had 3 peeps working the dept....but now there are only 2. I rang about $3800. My review is at the end of the month. I think I'm getting a raise....which is good...but since I did well, my Sales Per Hour Goal will more than double....which means next review will be VERY hard to make. I really wanted to get this raise cuz at least that way ....if I get a pay cut in the future for my numbers being lower, I can bounce back and forth rather than just lose my job when they cut your pay. I know you guys have said in the past that they won't fire you for not making your numbers, but Dillards is well known for being very strict with meeting your sales quota. They don't care about the econmy and they don't want to hear any excuses. They say it is up to you to "generate" customers via phone...or whatever. I'll stop rambling now....................have great workouts everyone.

Last night I did STS disc 36 shoulders, biceps, and triceps using the Bowflex. I really wanted to finish that series up and despite being so tired I got in a pretty good workout. Not sure what rotation I will do next. I have the Insanity workouts coming Wednesday. Maybe they will help with the holiday calories:eek: Yesterday all I ate was lunch and dinner which was left over lasagne. I did make it with lowfat cheese and diet lean ground beef. Snack was a small piece of pecan pie. Today I am going to try to get back on track. I have my granddaughters spending the night and going tree shopping with me:D

Today I am doing cardio and abs.
Yesterday's STS weights on the Bowflex:
w/up sets 1x30's, 1x40's
All sets 8 reps

repeat 4 times
front press 50's
standing bicep curls 50's
flat bench tricep extensions 50's

repeat 4 times
seated lateral raise 30's
lying head away from Bowflex bicep curls (this seems to be the closest to the feel of the ball incline bicep curls) 50's
seated overhead 1 arm extension 50#

repeat 4 times
seated rear delts 40's
seated concentration curl 65#
cross body kickbacks 50#

Lora, I am sorry you are under so much pressure to make sales. That seems like it would make the job unpleasant when it could be fun otherwise.

Today was Kenpo X again. I wore my 1# weight gloves again as well. Love love love this workout! Now that I'm more familiar with it, I gave it my all. And the movements where he does front/back kicks and front/side/back kicks I did without placing the moving foot on the floor unless I lost my balance. This is one fun workout.

I am also very sore in my glutes from yesterday's leg workout. :D

Tomorrow is my rest day.

Oh, and I lost .8# this week even with Thanksgiving. I'm so happy about that. I didn't overeat so I'm glad I seen some sort of loss event hough it was only .8#.

Lora - Do you work in Boardman? Are you at the mall? If so, which store do you work for? Just curious. Sounds like you had a very busy day yesterday.

Diane Sue - Nice job on the workout even though you didn't feel like doing it. Can't wait to see what you do next. Did you preorder the STS Cardio? I think I'm only going to get the MMA workouts.

Linda - Looking forward to seeing your stats from yesterday. Hope you have fun doing Kenpo X today!

I finished my workout. I started with 2.28 miles on the treadmill 30 minutes and burned 218 calories, then I did Rachel Cosgrove's Fenale Body Breakthrough Metabolic Exercise group 3 core 3 rounds at 45-60 seconds each exercise with 30 second rests between each round
mountain climbers
prone cross toe touch
prone step-off on stability ball
med ball toss(this scared my doggie she ran to hide LOL)
push ups
spidermans
This took 18 minutes and I burned 156 calories
I followed with P90X Kempo + 43 minutes and burned 381 calories and finished with Tracey's Yoga Solutions post cardio 11 min.
Total calories burned was 800 workout was 1 hr 43 minute time in zone was 40 min. Max HR was 160 and avg was 132.

Debbie, yes I pre-ordered shock cardio. I think with that, Insanity, and Tracey's new Kickbox one I should have plenty of cardio for awhile :D

GM Ladies-
Yesterday was my rest day and today was weights. I did not wear a hr monitor today as I wanted to go by how my body was feeling. The workout was around 45 minutes.
SS1-deadlift, bent flyes (2# weight increase), one arm db press (1.5 # weight increase), one leg pelvic tilts

SS2-squats, bench dips, leg raises, and jump squats (these kill me every time)

Dh and I may go look at adoptable German Shephards. I think Bella needs someone to keep up with her. We played soccer with her in the yard and we are the only ones who are exhausted :D She also took care of the leftover rolls...

Diane Sue-is Rachel's book an ebook or something you can order?
Debbie-Glad the kitties are getting along
Lora-if you can survive your "other" life, the holidays won't kill you. I hope you do well with your sales.

Lora - Congrats on the sales and sorry your job is so stressful. Probably why I am not cut out for retail.

DianeSue
- I got that book by Racheal too. Although I haven't read much of it yet. Tree shopping sounds fun, I haven't been in years as we have switched to an artifical one.

Debbie - I'll have to remeber to try Kenpo with my weighted gloves next week. I was still watching the the shoulders for this week. And don't you even look at my pullup numbers from yesterday as the suck compared to yours. You are definitely a badass!

Theresa
- I had a german shepard when I was young. I love those dogs. BTW, what Polar HRM monitor do you have, is it the F4?

Debbie - gosssh for some odd reason I just couldn't remember if you go by Deb or Debbie?????????? Yikes.....old age setting in. I work in Boardman at Dillards in the Southern Park Mall.

Work was pure Drama today. I had everyone PO'd at me cuz I did so good yesterday and they were saying I was stealing sales....so then they come and take sales from me. That place is worse than high school. Need to do a kickbox workout tomorrow definitely!!

We got the tree and the girls helped me decorate the house:D Then we went to dinner at Chicken and Chops. I had catfish:p Now we are watching movies.

Theresa, I got the Rachel Cosgrove book from Amazon. Not an e book. I hate having to download books.
