Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for week of 6/24

Today I did cardio and chose one of the Cardio Coach mixes I just recently made. It included the last 2 challenges from CC #8 which are tough challenges. I did well with this workout. I then did the leg/buttocks/hip stretch from the new Karen Voight DVD I just got. Nice stretch workout, can't wait to do to the whole thing.

I have to say, Coach Sean still inspires me with these cardio workouts. I wish he would have listened to his words a bit more and overcame the stuff he was going through. Such a shame that he isn't with us anymore. :( Thanks for the motivation, Coach Sean!

Yesterday I did Les Mills Combat 60 Extreme Cardio Fighter and 40 reps squats. I was pressed for time so will attempt the squat challenge again today and do 230. I have teenage grandchildren that I have here with me. Yesterday was a birthday for one of them so we went to lunch and shopping then a movie. My grandson and I did play around with weights and workout equipment last night. He had fun wearing my HR monitor :)

Today I did some lifting and did the STS Total Body workout but only did the Compound only premix. What a great workout. I liked that premix. Next time I'll do the single sets premix, that one looks good, too. :eek:
 
Today I started with X train Tabatacise mix 1 and 2 and burn sets back. I then did burn sets chest,, followed by the squat challenge, 143 reps, 40 lb,. I went on to do Les Mills Pump legs/back track, chest, & shoulders. I finished off with To the Max solid step, step Tabata, core upper emphasis, and stretch. Total time was 96 min, 703 calories.
 
I am going to do cardio and legs before I head out of town with my granddaughter in a little while. I will try to get the last day of the squat challenge in at 250 reps today :)

Roselyn, I have just been doing what I can fit in and hitting all body parts this week. I am not sure how next week will go yet. There is 4th of July festivities and I am not sure if I will have family here or not yet. I had kind of wanted to go back to the Beast workouts but with so many trips and needing to shorten up the workouts on some days I just can't focus on it right now.
 
Today I did cardio and chose Run Fit again. Love, love, love that workout. I did well with it and pushed myself to go a bit faster than usual. My HR was way up there again and I'm not sure why? :confused: And the weird thing is, it doesn't feel as high as my HR monitor is reading. Maybe that's a good thing?

I'm trying to reach 3.5 miles with this one. I will do it one of these days! I am really sore from yesterday's workout, my legs especially. I had a hard time stretching but after I started my muscles loosened up.
 
Today I did Les Mills Combat Lower Body Lean Out, 29 min, 240 calories. I then did X train Cardio Leg blast weights only, 30 min, 192 calories. I finished off with the last day of the squat challenge, 250 reps 40#, 13 min, 96 calories. Total time was 72 min, calories burned 528.
 
No workout today. Tomorrow will probably be no workout either. We have a birthday party to drive to which is a couple of hours away. So, probably Monday.
