Morning Maniacs -
This morning I did Angie Miller's Strength and Core Fusion. Workout was 70" and I burned 381 calories. I don't really feel like I had a very good workout. I wasn't sure how heavy to go, as I'd never done this before and I think I went too light.
This was yet another high rep workout. I'm so sick of the market being flooded with high reps. Where are all the 6-8, 8-10 rep workouts? I usually do drop sets when doing high reps and have a better workout...but I didn't do that today. Sometimes I'll go heavier and split the reps up into 2 sets. I got this workout cuz it got good reviews at Collage and someone said Angie reminded them of Cathe. I don't get irritated very often by instructors, but this instructor talked and talked and talked. Made me nuts. If I do this again, I'll probably play my own music and go heavier. Live and learn. One light day won't kill me .....I suppose!
All of that being said, which Cathe workouts have the lowest rep counts?
or what do you ladies use when you want to do a low rep, heavy weight workout?
I just read an article in a fitness magazine last week about rep training and this new way of training where you do one set of a weight exercise in a high rep range and one in the 6-8 range....etc. It's supposed to rev up your metabolism. Did anyone else read this?
Have great days everyone.
