I forgot to tell you all that I downloaded "Hott" by Kid Rock. Love that song! It's awesome! Also, if any of you like Weezer, download "Freak Me Out" - that is a good song. Char, it reminds me of you! LOL!
 
Hey again! I think this posting our food thing is a good thing, because I'm really thinking about what good foods I can eat and feel good about posting. LOL!

Suz-WELCOME BACK! You are totally freaking me out with the ghost! It must be a nice one for the birds to say "Hello". My screaming bird is still screeching for me, but I'm trying to control it some. Works sometimes and not others. I think he's going down in the basement as of today. That way, he won't have view of me all day long. He's to attached obviously. I bought him a mirror hoping he falls in love with himself. I also bought new toys and new treats to distract him. He will only see me when he works with me and then when anyone is working out in the basement. Sounds mean, but I think it might get him over me. Do you have any other ideas other than the Foreman Grill? Can I borrow your ghost to keep him company?:p

Deb- I wonder if the HRM works better outside without any interference...If you aren't by any electricity lines. Like that's gonna help though. doh! Isn't that song great! I'll check out the weezer song.

Char I'm going to have to check out those Tuna Kits. I know I've seen them at my store.

lunch was 4 oz wild salmon, mixed greens salad with spinach and own dressing of dijon mustard, lemon juice, buttermilk onion powder and pepper
dinner will be chicken and vegetables
I will try to get this in my pda diet program and see where it is on stats. Be back in a little while for personals.

Dallys - That's funny about that song. :) Normally I would think I would be freaked out. But I guess b/c it's not done anything bad I'm not. And maybe it's all just a coincidence, right?

Now about your birdie. I must say that banishing him to the basement is not something I can agree with. I think that isolating an animal is mean. He is going to be so lonely. That's no life for him. I hear of so many birds ending up in basements because they are loud and it breaks my heart. They always say that birds should be in an area of your home where you are. Birds are flock animals and want to be with their flock. Since he doesn't have other birds with him, YOU are his flock. Of course he's attached to you. We have domesticated these animals and then when they don't behave perfectly...off to the basement. I know it's not easy to live with screeching, TRUST ME. Our Macaw does it and she's HUGE and LOUD. But we work with her. They are all where they can see us for the most part. It's when they can't see us that she gets loud. We try to ignore her if we can b/c they say you shouldn't run to them b/c that encourages the behavior. But we can only handle it so long. Then we'll try the water bottle - spray her - which she HATES. We don't drench her or anything, just a few squirts. That shuts her up for a bit. Usually does the trick. Ours are out of their cages when we're home, so covering her when she's screaming isn't an option (or she'd look like the ghost!). But if it continued I would put her back and cover her. But only for about 5 minutes b/c you don't want to "punish" them forever. Maybe he needs a friend? He may be lonely. I would really, really discourage you on sending him to the basement. That is just not fair to him. I would suggest finding him a new home before doing that. Just my two cents. :)

Dallys - Next time I do cardio coach I'm going to use my portable cd player and see if it could be my Mp4 player or the speakers I have doing the interference. That's about the only other thing I can try at this point. Isn't that a good song, though? I love it. Weezer is a great band.

Diane Sue - Excellent workout. Impressive on the 35# DB rows and 50# bicep curls! Nice going.
 
Suz- I re-read my post, and it sounded horrible! I've made it sound like I'd just throw him in the basement and totally ignore him. Seriously, I would never do that, I'm just frustrated. I'm pretty sure he's not lonely as he has me all day long and he has more freedom and gets more attention than any bird I know. He's out of his cage and working with me for 6 hrs. a day and gets to fly from his perch to my shoulder a gazillion times.. lands on dogs once in awhile too:). He get's to talk with customers and little kids during the day. Oh how he loves all that! He gets free run of the living room on weekends and walks the couches and stares out the window and bird watches. He goes in his cage after work and it's in the den, so we aren't in there ALL the time and I'm guessing this pisses him off. It's just these last couple of weeks he's picked up the screeching whenever I'm out of sight. I know it's his instinct to keep the flock together, but sometimes I've got to go to the bathroom or fly to the store for food. LOL! I've been doing the covering him thing and removing it when he stops skreeching, it's working some. I'm going to try the water spray. I know he hates that!

Deb, my heart rate goes goofy on the treadmill too. I never thought it could be the ipod interfering.
The computer here at work interferes with the tv remote..

I am going to get on the recumberant bike and do some chest work and abs and alot of stretching..

Got the weight equipment. I thought we were just getting benches. DH got a pullup bar (tree) that you can do ab work (hanging and decline as well), oh...and tricep work. Very cool. Squat rack and the bench. I took pics and will post tomorrow.

Workout:

Hanging 2 sets 12 off new workout equip. and 50 crunches on decline. Then finished ab work to cardio and weights.

Arm workout:

3 sets 8 70# bb curls
2 sets 8 40# db's concentration curls
DB curls with 30# db's 3 sets/8

Skull crushers w/45# bar (I cannot believe I did this...very, very hard and my triceps burned like never before) I used the new squat rack while on bench. I did 3 sets 8 (probably cheated on a few for now) lol.

#2: Beef stir fry w/veggies, brown rice [font color=red]* [/font]This was from yesterday & I did not jot the cals/macros down, so my numbers from this meal are approximate.

#3: 2 pkgs plain oatmeal, 1 sc pp, 1/2 package roasted sunflower seeds

#4: Mixed veggies, boneless/skinless chicken breast

Fat: 42.5g (22.36%)
Protein: 159.5g (37.29%)

I may have something small when I get home tonight, since my fats and protein are a little short.
 
Diane Sue- OMG! I made the apple just like you did and it was wonderful! I'll be eating that often. Loved the sour cream mixed with protein powder. Great idea!:9

Finished Power Hour and then had to shower and run to my sister's house. She had an interview for a job and needed a skirt. She works from home and thought she had a black pencil skirt but must have given it away. So I ran one over to her. It's a great state job - I hope she gets it. She's been in the interview for almost an hour (she's going to call me as soon as she gets out)! Anyway, then I did the Wal-Mart grocery thing and came home and started dinner and here I am.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure I'll have DOMS. I took my band with me to my Dad's but didn't have time to do anything other than cardio. I sure felt that workout today! Can't wait for the new ones.

Dallys - Oh good, you're not as mean as I thought. :p Just kidding! The water bottle works on Big Bird but not on Bobo. She LOVES it. Sid doesn't scream. Well, Bobo doesn't either, she just has this high pitched thing she'll do late at night when we're watching a movie - for about 20 minutes. Makes my ears ring.

Diane Sue - I had your coffee/soy milk/pp shake today. Yummy! I didn't know how much to use - I did a cup of each and a scoop of vanilla whey pp. How much do you use?

I found this new salad dressing by the salads in the grocery store this afternoon. I bought the mandarin ginger one and it is so good a spicey. Love the ginger. The dressings are non fat, low sugar, low calorie. This one was 15 calories a serving.

I had one of my baked apples this afternoon with protein powder, cinnamon, and splenda
dinner was chicken breast rolled in egg white and then coated with oat bran with some parmesan cheese, basil and garlic. I thin put it in the oven and baked it. I had a spinach salad with it with some mandarin orange slices rinsed and drained and a small amount of feta cheese and the mandarin ginger dressing. It was yummy:)

Suz, I generally use a little more coffee than the light soy milk but that sounds about right. Glad that you liked it:) Maybe you are just getting impressions of your gaurdian angels:)

Dallys, so you tried my apples. They are yummy that way.
