Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Wed Nov 22

Ok, workout is done and I have to get busy around here:) I did Drill Max Cardio & lower premix twice eliminating one w/up and the stretch that was 1hr 33 minutes, then I put in Butts & Guts and put the floorwork and abs premix, I just did the floorwork which was 21 minutes, this included the glute squeezes and left out the hydrant moves. I wore my 5# ankle weights for everything but the glute squeezes. I finished with the stability ball abs wearing my shoe wts and hand wts and the stretch. The second time trough Drill Max I did the walking lunges with a pair of 15# dumbbells and omitted the side laterals. I also tried the band that looks like a big rubber band on the firewalkers first time through. I did it but my legs were on fire and I could barely move them.

Charlotte, a little tired after yesterday:)???? I almost had second thoughts on the two times through Drill Max & lower. I guess I got my second wind.

Maeghan, you need to get that fire going:)

Hi Maniacs! Lunch time again. It's bean salad and you guessed it...Egg Whites.:) My back is all stiff and sore from working. I wish I were done.:( Had a good customer tell me she has overian cancer, she just found out on Halloween. I feel so bad for her. She lost her 18 yr. old son in a car accident a couple of years ago. She is one tough lady, with a great attitude. I don't think I could be that strong. You just never know what life will bring you.

Well, back to work!........

I am really running behind on time here. Still have cleaning to do and pies to bake and a turkey to get ready for tomorrow.

Just finished working out arms. I worked out with the boys today. DD's boyfriend and he brought over a friend. Probably all I will do except for corework later tonight if I am not too tired.

Zottman Curls 25's 3 sets/8
Alt DB Curls 30's 3 sets/10
BB Curls 50# (fatigue setting in) 3 sets of 10

Tricep Kickbacks 15's (went up from 12's)
Tricep Ext. 60#
Dips with 35 db in lap 3 sets/10
Tricep Presses with DB 35# 3 sets/8

I also held a plank position for 3 mins with 12.5# to show the boys. They held for 1 1/2 mins without weight. I showed them!!!!! I showed them the banana rolls too that I just learned from P90X. They thought it was cool.

I'm finally home and still haven't worked out. I went and had a DONUT with DH at the police dept. at 7:30. He invited me, what could I do?. Of course the Chief came in all sweaty from his workout and turned down a donut. He's a big Body for Lifer and never cheats. Looks amazing. I hung my head in shame (til he left the room :)). Then I went to a million stores! It's almost 3pm! I have a lot to do still.

P.S. Diane Sue - can you tell me anything about CC#5? I want to download a new one tonight to do tomorrow morning. I was going to download #6 off of your recommendation but was wondering about 5. Is that Sean or Candace? Is it good? If you have it, that is? I only have #4 and I know you said they got progressively more difficult so I don't really want to go below 4 unless I were to do one twice like Debbie.

Done with B&G. I have so much more energy in the afternoon (but it dwindles by evening). I think I need to work part time mornings. I'll run that one by DH and let you all know. I used 5# ankle weights this time. I do believe this is the first time I've ever gone heavier. Okay, so it was a minor thing, but still. :p

good for you for going heavier. I need to start thinking outside of the box too. I'm like a robot with Cathes workouts. She picks up 10's, I pick up 10's. etc. LOL! Someone posted a post to you in the other forum (Open discussion) it's under "For Gizmo and Amber". I think you might have missed it. It's cute.:)

I still haven't gotten my stretch in. Is been one of those days.

Well, I finally got my WO in. I did Power Hour UB and abs, and then SS UB. I had to do extra tricep work since these two are taped off FitTV and PH eliminates the triceps. But, still a good one. I really burned my chest and bis big time! Then I ran a mile. I wanted to run more, but I felt a twinge in my hip?? so I played it safe.

Have a Wonderful Thanksgiving. I am sure I will be around here and there tomorrow!

Hey Suz, I did CC 4 last week and CC 6 Candacae this week. Maybe I will do 5 tomorrow. I will probably drag it out a little longer. After the w/up Challenge one is 4 minute hills with 2 min rests, a steady state , Challenge 2 is 1 min sprints with 30 sec rests, steady state, challenge 3 is 4 level 4, 30 second hills with 1 min sprints. Str.. It is a great cardio burner:)

I have been doing cooking and cleaning puppies and leaves all day.Most things are ready.
