Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Wed May 9

Hi ladies! Tonight's WO was Hip Hop Abs Cardio # 2. My DH & I got some bummer news about his reversal surgery-he has no "swimmers". x( The Dr. now only gives us a 5% chance of having a child. Trying to deal with it and figure out what I want to do now. He sat me down after I got home from work and I have felt very preoccupied since then. Luckily, I was able to complete my workout anyway-my Friday weigh-in stayed on my mind too.

Diane Sue-I will check out Step & Pump. Does it have hi/lo in it? I really like the combo of weight training and step like Cathe's Step, Pump, & Jump but I am not a fan of the hi/lo component. Does it compare to Cathe's or is it very different?

Lora-Thanks for the comments about the Firm Bootcamp DVD. I am glad to hear there were postive reviews-I had not read anything about it. I printed out the Strong like a Bull rotation some time ago but have had other ones I wanted to do first. Can't wait to hear how you like it-you go girl!

Dallys-I love Sheryl Crow & have her songs on my ipod. What are your faves? I think mine are Strong Enough, Riverwide, and My Favorite Mistake.

Have a great night ladies!

Lora-Forgot to ask if you ever pop over to Jari Love's website. I was doing some reading there over the weekend for some rotation ideas and noticed she has an "Ask Jari" thread but does not respond. Her fans were pretty mad that there is a place to post to her but no one ever responds. Someone from her camp finally answered and said Jari was very busy right now but would post at some point in the future. That didn't go over very well either.

Jen the workout is called cardio pump step. It is a step workout and then goes into the strength workout. I like to use the premixes. They are circuit style cardio with the weights in between. I also use the cardio as an add on to other cardios and the same with the strength work. No hi/lo in there. It is really hard for me to compare anything to Cathe. I think the step is more intense than the step in SJP. It is only slightly longer than the step in SJP. There are two step combos. In the longest circuit premix they repeat the combined step combos twice. I hope I am giving an accurate description for you. I know Lora has used this one quite a bit.
