Morning Maniacs -

I'm getting ready to do Amy Bento's All Pump & Tracey Staehle's Total Body Shaping back to back and hopefully practice some Step Gone Wild and do a litte yoga also.......I'll be back.
 
I'm back......ended up doing Tracey Staehle's Full Body Sculpt (46") followed by Amy Bento's All Pump (40") and then I added some Firewalkers on the end and a bit of Gliding on my own. Then I did about 40 minutes or so of Step Gone Wild with Rob Glick. Total workout time was about 2.5 hours and I burned 750 calories. I then took a small break to eat a banana and then did 30 minutes of Yoga on Demand (wanted to do more yoga).

Tracy's workout was much better now that I used 2 times the amount of weight she uses in the DVD. I still felt it was a bit too much for shoulders and not enough for biceps and triceps. It made for a good back to back with All Pump, as Tracy does lying leg work and Amy did standing. I hope I get sore tomorrow.

The only thing I've noticed about these long workouts and burning all of these calories is that I'm constantly famished!

Good morning Maniacs!

I am feeling a little sore from ME last night. Atleast I am not feeling like puking anymore. I wonder if it was that Kundalini yoga. I was doing some interesting stuff. LOL!
I think it is 70 min cardio today. I seemed to have switched Mon and Wed on my rotation, but that is alright.

Lora- good WO. I know I get wicked hungry after a major cal burn. I love that kind of hunger.

My legs and calves are quite sore today from GS Legs yesterday. This morning I did Cardio Coach #3 and challenges 2 & 3 from CC #1. Had a great workout. I'm getting better at distance running but I still like sprinting the best. Workout was 1:07, I was in my zone for 51 minutes and burned 347 calories. Travelled 3.63 miles.

Good Morning Maniacs!!

Yesterday did the plyo's. Today is shoulders/arms and ab ripper x.
I have to take Speck to the vets for shots and got cleaning to do too.

My son did not get braces. He was told he would have to have his jaw broken because the bottom jaw is still continuing to grow and any treatment to correct it would not be successful. He will have surgery when he is 18 1/2, if he decides he still wants to. So I had dollar signs in my head after finding out we don't need the money so I mentioned to hubby to go out to dinner last night. Had some crab legs and sugar free ice cream and a sweet potato. Some gross caesar salad...too much dressing..icky. Had a nice time.

My calves are sore too from the plyo's. Very nice workout. You seem to be getting better at running/sprinting. My hubby thinks I look "cute" when I sprint and now I have a complex about it.

So I had some of your favorite food last night..crabs!!! YUM! Oy!

Good Morning
Yesterday I did Mix and Max from Cardio Fusion and today I did B&G my legs felt so weak doing b&g I could barely survive the floor work.
NOw i have to get ready for work I'm pissed they scheduled me ten days in a row so this is my 8th day:(!! I am so freakin tired!

Morning Crazy Maniacs! Not sure what to do today. Didn't get in my PUB yesterday. Went searching for a St. Ball and ended up with 2 t-Shirts instead. Didn't get back in time to workout. Hubby was already hogging the basement. I need to somehow get in upperbody, Cardio and BBM. Maybe I'll just do a totalbody--hmmm, not sure yet. It's been hard to get in these longer workouts. I'm always more consistant with a 60 to 80 min. workout. Especially in the winter. In Spring and Summer, it's easy to get the extra cardio in outside.

Lora-Wow! That was one long workout for you today!

Debbie- Great workout! I liked that band you posted yesterday.:)

Char-Hmmmm! Love Crap legs! My nephew had that surgery done on his jaw last year. He looks so much better, even profile now! I think he is 17.

Good morning maniacs!!
I did chest and back last night (i'm a day off) with abripperx. It felt sooo good and did anyone else notice how much stronger they were than when they left this workout 4 weeks ago??? I was able to do many more push ups boy style and consistently to many more girl style. I actually like this workout much butter now!!!


Meg! I did read it, thank you soo much. I feel crazy sometimes! My prednisone is only 4 mg three times day now, it was a taper. I got headaches insomnia and wild crazy dreams, night sweats and joint pain I'm assuming all from the prednisone. Crazy, I woke my husband up in the middle of the night saturday during a dream and asked him to get my briefcase out of the lake. I was dreaming I fell in the lake with my briefcase! So bizarre. He is majorly freaked out. They have not mentioned sarcoidosis, but paranoid me who has access to a medical library and medical literature thinks I now have anything vaguely similar to what I'm reading about. Life on hold is not fun. Thank you for sharing you are amazingly strong!!!

Deb and Dallys..my raynauds is very mild and not to much of a concern with me. I can reach in my freezer without any problems and as long as I have gloves on outside, i'm usually ok. But I have noticed some blanching even after lifting weights. I have really only had one really bad spell. But my hands are always cold and throbbing and different colors with temperature change.

Anne..well the phenyl PPC stuff seems it might be the problem (which I think are only in browns and reds and black colorings right?) and blondes don't have that in their color, going blonde the bleaching or color doesn't contain that right? it's only depositing light colors right? I have to make a decision before we leave in 10 days. Gee...blonde or no Blonde. Go to my picturetrail, there is probably the best picture of my hair color. My friend the hairdresser said we'll foil it gradually getting lighter every few weeks if need be.

Amber, my blonde color has pph. bleaches won't.
I say go with a cap the 1st time with heavy highlights. You will most likely have to tone or look like a big brassy fake blonde. Lightening virgin hair is easy. Previously colored hair is a little harder and can hold the golds and you don't want to tone on your scalp.You can run into problems when stripping off color.
Foils will be great after..

I just remembered how you love candy..but yes would defeat the purpose!!

Anne..I get it. I just can't see how all this hair would fit through those tiny holes in the cap!!! I have a lot of hair. Just doesn't seem doable.

Charlotte - Cool about your son! Geez, I hope he doesn't opt to get the surgery. Is his teeth really that bad? How long of a workout is ab ripper x?

Amber - Mine is horrible. If I drink my protein shake my hands turn white. I can't reach in my freezer without it doing the same thing. This morning they were so numb I had to run them under hot water to get the circulation back. I wonder what causes this?

Lora - Excellent calorie burn. I didn't see that until just now.
 
Hey Maniacs! Lunch time here. I made the best salad today. It was a throw-every-leftover-in type of thing. The best part is the dressing I made. I was out of chicken and needed some protein, so I mixed cottage cheese with salsa and a tiny tiny bit of bluecheese dressing together. It's so good! My salad was the last bit of a salad mix with some brown rice and black beans, some onion and a little avocado. Turned out really good. Now, I'll have to make this again.


Suz- Do you use clippless pedals? If so, did you get used to them quickly? I just bought some bike shoes off ebay. They were expensive! Hope I like them. I've never clipped in before, so this could be exciting or possibly entertaining! So, far so good on my eating today. How about you?

Amber- I'd probably let my hair go grey. Just to scary! But, I know, looking all grey is frightening too!

Just got done with workout not too long ago. I have no time to post. Got a call from realtor and someone coming to look at home so I am busy cleaning the heck out of it. So behind.

I hope ya'll don't think I am ignoring ya. Maybe on friday I can talk more, but then when I am not busy..everyone else is. Oh, well.

Amber - Well, I ended up eating some caramel creams and banana bread at my Mother's at dinner........so I guess I wasn't that good after all!

Charlotte - That Forum only scent is the very last link in that thread I posted. If you click on it, it takes you to the website and you can order (in case you're interested). Not sure about Crow Moon.....it could go either way on me. Some of it sounds good and some of it I don't care for .....i.e., moss, etc. I think if it's expertly blended, it could end up being good. I'm really excited about Enraged Groudhog though.....as I love caramel, cherry, etc.
 
Today's workout was Low Impact Circuit cardio blast stopping at the str, then the Muscle & Fitness Hers Adv. rotation phase 1 , I finished off with stretch Max with the ball. It is snowing here. Mostly wet & icy again. I had to rush out the door to get to the bank and run by my dr's office. I came back & found out I did not have to pick up the grandchildren from school. I don't know why but I was so fatigued I lay down on the couch with a magazine and felt like I couldn't wake up.

Debbie, usually when I do the cardio coach workouts I am doing something else afterward and a different stretch or yoga. I keep going throughout the cool down and stretch. When I did CC 6 Candace yesterday I ran for 1 hr and 16 minutes. Most of the workout for me is done at a low of 4 miles and hour and high of 8. That is why I can do 5plus miles when I do one of these:)

Lora, great workout. It sounds like you got a lot in and a great calorie burn.

Amber, that has to be frustrating dealing with the haircolor situation. I hope you can figure out a way to do it.

Randi, sorry you are having to work so long without a day off. It doesn't sound like a good schedule to me. Do you get some extra days off on the next schedule?

Hey there chickies!

Busy busy day! Did back and arms x today. Felt good. Pecs and abs still sore.

Just lost my driver's ed instructor due to new rules made by the dept. of ed and the legislature. Darn it! It's my biggest money maker. Now I'm scrambling. She's really angry at the No Child Left Behind act as it is and this one just pushed her over the edge.

Whew! Got that off my chest. :) Gotta do ab ripper tonight.

Dallys - Yup, been using clipless pedals since the beginning. Love 'em! Yes, there is the ocassional kaboom when you can't get your feet out. There's this one busy corner at the bottom of a big hill and each one of my friends and I have biffed it there b/c we couldn't clip out. It's pretty funny during morning rush hour! But I can't imagine riding without them. Wouldn't even want to. Now I will say that I'm a little nervous to try them on my mountain bike, but DH just put them on it last year so I'm gonna take the plunge. My feet go flying in all directions as I'm flying down those hills!
