Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Tuesday October 9

I'm so frustrated and disappointed. If my foot were feeling better, I'd be doing a hard core workout right now. I went for that interview and it was a joke. They already hired all of the full-time permanent people and are now looking for a "fill in" person for the front desk when someone calls off sick. But.......before they (the buff owner dude and his side-kick - wife? girlfriend?) interviewed me and told me about the job.......they were telling me how impressive my qualifications were, etc. and even went on to say that I'm probably not getting jobs (like the one I was interviewing for) because I am over qualified and in his experience people like me just leave jobs like that to take something in their field and get paid what they are worth. I explained how much I'm into fitness and that wouldn't necessarily be the case with me. It was a waste of time and I'm really bummed about this whole job frustration/search....stuff.

My new HRM came and I'm trying to figure out how to work it. It's different than my old one. I'm a creature of habit....not sure different is good :7 .............vent over

My internet was down this afternoon as well as our phone. Cable is always going out.

Randi, so sorry about your Guinea pig. I bet your dog does miss it too.

Debbie, I really like that GS Chest & Triceps premix. Back and Biceps has a premix too that alternates between the two. It omits the shoulders. I have used that one and did a shoulder workout on another day. I am always discovering a new premix that I haven't tried.

Suz, that ghost stuff is really weird. Wonder what is up with the dogs?

Lora, I am sorry about the job thing. That is not right that they built up your hopes like that. Glad you got your new HR monitor came. I am sure you will enjoy it once you figure it out.

Don't get me started on Ghost stories. I don't have any recent ones, but right after my Father died when I was living at home, My Mom and I had all sorts of weird things happen around the house. I swear I felt his presence in weird ways many times. We even talked to the Pastor at the Church about it cuz it was so unnerving and he said that when a person is newly deceased, there soul is not totally at rest and since he died with my relationship with him in turmoil, his presence was very prominent around me as he was trying to get things settled so he could move one. Talk about freakin' me out.

The only strange thing I had happen lately.......I was walking around the house doing stuff and I think I'd just finished my prayers and I was over by the wall with the picture of God's Hands on it and the picture flew off the wall and almost hit me. What was that message?

Thank you all for all your hugs:) You guys are the best! I will be doing Imax 2 tonight.
I'm a Libra too Lora and Penny:) MY bday is on the 18th:)
Debbie any new rotations:)?
Take care
Randi

Diane Sue: Holy cow that was a volume workout today! I am humbled! :D

Randi: Sorry about your Guina Pig. It is so hard when beloved pets pass on. **hugs**

Suz: Freaky on the bathroom experience! What color is your hair now? Congrats on the DOMS! :D

Debbie: Great workout as usual! I know your wrists have been giving you trouble for some time. My left wrist was hurtin' last summer from being pulled, and thankfully it has cleared up.

Meaghan: Yikes on your son getting his pinky caught in the treadmill! Is he okay now?

Lora: Sorry about your sucky interview :( Hopefully something better will come your way soon.

Cardio today: 30 minutes on the elliptical, intervals, levels 3-8. I was sweatin'! :D

Have a nice night ladies!

Penney - My hair is still red. I just have to cover up the roots. My dad went gray when he was 18 - totally gray! So I have my fair share. Nothing like that, but you know. After all, I AM 45 now. :p And I'm not really a natural redhead. More like a brunette with some red highlights. ;)

Suz, I'm a natural redhead. And, it's still pretty red, but not as bright as it was when I was younger (I am 46). Now it's more like an auburn. I still do not have alot of gray.

I have an uncle who was totally gray by the time he was 30. Then, when my grandmother passed away last year at 92, she still had salt and pepper hair. She was like you - brunette w/red highlights.
