Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Tues Sept 4

I have been working around the house and kind of previewing the Pit workouts. All's I can say is lots of burpees and pushups. Abs at high speed with very little rest. Looks tough. I may do portions at first to see how I feel. Need some energy. I guess they wear no shoes because of the type of flooring? Not sure about that. I thought when they did the lower they might wear shoes but they kicked the bag (some air) with no shoes. I may have problems with the bag work and the push ups alternating as my gloves are not open fingered.

Suz, I bet you were worried. So glad they found the problem. My Dh is in meetings this evening. I was thinking of trying out my Keli Roberts dvd with the foam roller.

Lora, I know for me sometimes other types of headaches can turn into a full blown migraine. It could very well be some of your other problems causing it to drag out.

Diane Sue - that's exactly what I thought of the Pit. I don't know if my shoulders could handle all of those pushups and burpees, especially all of those different pushup variations. Certain pushups tend to aggravate my shoulders more than others. I've been playing around with hand and arm placement a bit (per the advice of one of the lovely ladies on this forum) and I think I'm retracting my shoulderblades more and doing a little better. I've also been doing a lot of Mountain Climbers with this Jillian rotation, but not near the amount you do in the Pit........I may have to modify it when I do it. I'll be anxious to hear what you think. The music isn't half bad on them and I like the hardcore class.

Lora, I thought the music was pretty good. Maybe I will start with the lower body one. Maybe not quite as many push ups but lots of jumping. If I decide I don't care for it I bet I like the ab work. I already wrote down the time point where it is at:) I was thinking that it may good to pick portions and use with other workouts. I tried the foam roller one. I have already done similar moves but I liked the progression. Mine is not long enough for the core stuff though. The only places that really kind of hurt for me was the lat area and the hip flexors. I have been using it for my feet.
