Good Morning:)
Just got back from Pasadena Ca yesterday. Had a great time with my brother and his family. I was quite suprised at myself from my workout last night I was so tired didnt think I would do much. I ended up doing BC core only premix, B&G ankle weight leg work, gym style legs floor work only then B&G Leg blast prmix. My legs are hurting this morning}( Not sure what workout i'm doing today.

This morning was supersets of Back and Chest. Excellent workout. I lowered my weights because the last time I did this I about killed myself going with heavy weights. It felt great and I fatigued just about every muscle in my upper body. This is how it went:

1:30 min. rest between each SS's

SS#1
Wide Grip Pullups: 8 - Close Grip Pullups: 10 - Chins: 10
superset w/
Barbell Bench Press:
95# - 15/12/9
[font color=blue]***Happy with the three pulls I did. Felt good and strong with each. Bench was good as well, but numbers dwindled fast as the sets progressed.[/font]

SS#2
Underhand Barbell Rows:
70# - 12/12/12
superset w/
Decline Dumbbell Flyes:
30's - 15/15/15
[font color=blue]***This is where I started feeling it everywhere. The flyes were a true challenge, even with the lighter weight.[/font]

SS#3
Pullovers:
40# - 12
35# - 15/12
superset w/
Incline Dumbbell Press:
30's - 12/8/10
[font color=blue]***As you can see, when I did the 2nd set and did pullovers for 15 reps I could only mustare up 8 reps for the press. My triceps were killing me with this superset. Not sure why?[/font]

Workout took all of 40 minutes. LOVED IT!!! I'm still pumped right now.

I ended up doing Firm Cardio Overdrive - repeated the overdrive segment to make it 60". Added some propulsions, etc...but still tried not to overdo it on my foot. I used the Rebounder for the power running segments and high knees and got my HR up to 160. My new HRM states I burned 592 calories. This new one is sure giving me some high readings. I know it's been easier to take my HR cuz the buttons work well....and I take it at several points of the workout....so not sure if this is more accurate or not. I had my DH double check the settings ...weight, gender, etc. and he says it's correct. I know I've been working out pretty hard cuz I'm so depressed and frustrated.

I then did Caribbean Pilates for Abs 20", 10 Min Solutions Pilates for Butt/Thighs 10" and Pilates Stretch 10". Used my band for part of the pilates. I finished off with AM Yoga with Barbara Benagh - AM Breathwork Session 25".

Lora thank you:) It was beautiful we went shopping on Rodeo Drive not that I could afford anything, but I did get a Starbucks coffee hehe:) I will post some pictures when I get home from work tonight.

Diane Sue- Looks like Wal-mart carries that Sexy hair product. I may go get some today. My hair gets the fly-aways, so I'm hoping it will help.

Char- I haven't watched any scary movies yet! Unless you count "Charmed" lol. My ds did get "Saw 2" at the pawn shop that I plan to watch. I've got to check the TV listing for more good horror stuff.}(

Sue Did your dh ever get his camera fixed? I signed up for 3 photo classes and just finished the first one. Learning TONS!

Good morning. Sorry to not check in yesterday, had a rough day, and didn't feel well, and had to work till midnight. I am tired today, but atleast I am off from work.
I have slow and heavy legs today. Need to eat first though.

Deb- that's a great WO. I love that just after heavy lifting feeling!

Diane Sue - Sorry to hear about your hair. Don't you hate it when you want it to look a certain way and then it always looks the same no matter what? Frustrating. My cousin cuts my hair and I always have to emphasize to her not to go too short. Even though I love my spikes, sometimes she gets carried away, especially if she's talking to me about something. LOL!

Good Morning, I just got back from taking my granddaughters to school. I started this morning with Shari Jacquelyn's CIA Criss Cross Cardio stopping after the standing abs stuff, then I did Kick Max Premix Bootcamp skipping the w/up. I will do abs and some yoga/stretcing here in a few minutes.

Debbie, the thing is I always choose that salon because I am usually happy when I leave. Was just really disappointed and kind of wanted it shorter so maybe it would be easier to care for. Great workout as usual:)

Charlotte, I hope you can find your bike.

Lora, it sounds like you are getting some good calorie burns without doing so much impact. I think I forgot to mention yesterday that I think that Jumping jacks is impact. I would be careful with those if I were you.

Randi, good to have you back. Looking forward to the pictures.

Dallys, how is the bird situation? I have seen some of the Sexy hair products at Target too. They don't carry the tube of power straight though. I also like the shampoo and conditioner.

Diane Sue - Where do you get that Straight Sexy Hair stuff from? Do you order it from the link you sent yesterday or does certain stores carry the brand?
 
Finished up my HIIT and yoga. Did Eoin Finns "short routine" off of his Power yoga DVD. It's my favorite as I always say.:+

Diane Sue- The bird is doing somewhat better. I think I'm getting more irritated just thinking about it. LOL! I don't do barking dogs either. That's why I always own breeds that are known for not barking. Funny, I work with yapping dogs all day and yes, they irritate me (almost to tears sometimes). I think that's why I might be so sensitive to it.

Debbie- I checked that Sexy hair site for my area and my Wal-mart has it.

Hey Deb! Just my usual struggle - wanting to eat whatever I want, knowing I can't, lol :eek:

The best way you can help is to send me some of your DISCIPLINE!!!! ;) lol jk ;)

I've upped the cardio some, which will help. I have to get back "into the groove" of watching everything that goes into my mouth. Sometimes it takes a heck of alot of energy to do that. You know how it is :) You live with someone who eats junk alot, too. Darn men!

The biggest thing is not to give up. I know someday I'll just zone into this and be able to not cave 80% of the time yummy junk is staring at me. LOL! :)
 
Penney - I know those struggles all too well. You'll get to a point where it won't be a struggle anymore. Yes, I live with someone who eats junk all the time, although I'm happy to say he is doing better in that department. :) I have been making him some healthy dinners and I find that if he eats well at dinner he doesn't eat junk at night. So I have to keep doing that.

Keep going with this Penney. You are doing so well and I hate to see you lose what you've lost because of your eating. Like I said, it will come.

QUESTION FOR EVERYONE HERE:

Would any of you be adverse to us posting our meals each day? Penney and I did that on bb.com but I'm not on that forum anymore. Would it be a problem if we posted our meals here? Penney, would you do that????
 
I finished up my workout. I did Ab Ripper X 2 times using a 10# med ball for some of the moves and 5# on the mason twists, then I did Yoga Shatki, back bend prep, basic flow, shoulder openersm and lunge. I need to get busy got to get dog food when I go pick up the granchildren.

Debbie, I do not mind posting what I eat. I buy the Sexy Hair stuff at Beauty Brands. I would think you could buy it at most any beauty supply or Ulta as well.

Dallys, my part lab barks whenever she is outside and a person or dog is around. I make her come in. I do not want her annoying the neighbor. Otherwise they are both quiet. They will bark if someone is coming in the house.

So far today I had my usual coffee pre workout, before I took the girls to school I had 1/2 scoop whey protein powder with coffee, ice, and light soymilk. Haven't had anything else. I will post later.
