Morning Maniacs -

I'm getting ready to go down and do Cardio Coach 7 since my DH is done working out. I slept in a bit. I have a hair appointment later today. I'll be back later........not sure when..as I'm planning on doing a longer yoga routine also.

Good Morning Maniacs!!!

My lats are sore this morning. I should guess from all the pushups. My shoulder actually feels better. See, sometimes I think the workouts can improve such things as this. ;-)

Today I have to take my son to get braces. He had them when he was 7 and the procedure failed so he is going once again. Last time. He has a underbite. I hope this time we will have success cuz it is expensive enough. So I will get in my plyo workout early before I have to leave.

I am not sure I would like that oil. Doesn't snake oil have Indosesian Patchouli in it? I love Patchouli, but not the Indo kind. I dunno. I still want to get Radiance of Ra, another Queen of the Nile (cuz I am running low), Blessings of Isis and maybe Sexual Energy (not that I need that one, but my curiousity wants to know about it) he he. I just sold the last of my lunar and le bottles so all I have are the tal's now, and I am not selling them or my other samples so I figure I could put on Cleo May and stand on a street corner and get more money so I could buy more???? LMAO! Just kidding, for goodness sakes!!!! he he.

I ended up doing CC #7 on the treadmill & bike. I even did some of the challenges on the treadmill, so we'll see what happens with my sciatica. My legs are feeling pretty fatigued right now. That last challenge was tough. Total workout with stretch (from CC 6) was 1 hour 17 minutes and I burned 540 calories. I also did 70 minutes of Being in Yoga with Daryn Dewald.

Have great workouts ladies. I'm going to eat breakfast and get my shower. I'll be back later. Cold and snowy again today. I'm sick of this weather.

ETA: Charlotte - I don't think Snake Oil has patchouli at all....I think it has Indonisan spices or something like that. I'll have to go look. I think the oil sounds good....but I'm not collecting TAL's either. My stuff hasn't been moving at all on Ebay or the Forum and I need money cuz there weren't even any job ads in the paper this weekend. I'm depressed.

Lora- that is some WO. I can just imagine how good you must feel after 70 min of yoga.

Char- hope it works with your son. Dentist said CHase will need them when he is older. No spaces between his teeth? Time will tell. Better start saving now LOL! Have a good WO!

My ankle seems alright after my WO last night, so hope it stays that way. I think today is full body, so I am thinking ME. I have another busy day, pulmonologist appt this afternoon too.

Lora - Great workout! You burned some major calories. Hope the back is ok.

This morning I did Gym Style Legs. I skipped the floor work and did some extra things on my weight bench. Just didn't feel like doing floor work today for some reason.

Barbell Squats: 65# 3 sets/16 reps + bonus on 3rd set
Front Lunges: 15's 2 sets/8 reps + bonus on 2nd set
Rear Lunges: 15's tons of reps
Plie Squats: 45# 2 sets/16 reps - no weights on the pulse part, these killed me
Leg Press w/purple band: 2 sets/15 reps each leg
Elevated deadlifts: 12's w/1 set - 10's w/2nd set (trying to slowly incorporate these again, the elevation seems to make them safe for me)
Slow Motion Lunges: 12's
Then I added:
Hamstring curls: 40# 3 sets/16 reps
Leg Extensions: 50# 3 sets/16 reps
Calf Raises from GS

Workout was 1:11, was in my zone for 24 minutes and burned 232 calories.

Its snowing like crazy here, can't even see the roads. Its so pretty!

Snow? The sun is shining here. We are suppose to get some this week. I suppose I will leave the snowflakes up on my windows for now.

Charlotte - How close is the nearest, decent sized town? You might have to send me a sample of the one for that purpose if I don't get a phone call about a job soon! My DH is buying me oil and a shirt from Dark Delacicies for V-day. I asked him to.......so I'm happy that I'm getting it. I wonder how long it's going to be up on the Dark Delacicies site? Beth didn't specify....but it is for V-Day. It sounds like a deep floral with a vanillish feel...thus the tonka. I think it sounds like it's going to be right up my alley. It's always hard to get a sense what it will actually smell like until you have it in your hot little hands. I always try to imagine it though.

Diane Sue - Yet more mish mosh questions. I loved the Body Max 2 upper x 2 and Muscle Max Lower Premix mish mosh (I added abs to it also). It's the sorest I've been in a while, so I was wondering if you know of any other Cathe (or Amy) workouts that would equal those amounts of time so I could piece another great weight workout together for tomorrow. I don't want to do a circuit tomorrow, as I'm planning on practicing Step Gone Wild tomorrow after my weight workout.

Deb - I really thought that CC workout was a toughie.....at least that last challenge was cuz I was fatigued. Do you agree? or are you Wonder Woman from all of that running?? I hope my hips okay too. I want to be able to run cuz I hear all of the things people say about what it does for their bodies.

I'm getting stir crazy with this weather, no job, etc. I'm depressed cuz I haven't heard back from the hospital about that job and no call from that doctor I interviewed with for a 2nd interview and no jobs at all in the paper or online.

Also, they are going to try to deny my unemployment because when I told them what happened when I was let go, they put the reason on my application to be "Unsatisfactory Work Performance" and I got this long questionnairre about stuff. The Office Manager at the Atty Firm got her papers from the Unemployment office and called my house yesterday to tell me she think their gonna deny me for that reason I gave them. I was only being truthful. She left a message on my recorder.....and of course I'm not calling her back!

Someone at Videofitness that is a Recruiter offered to put my resume in the hands of a Recruiter in the Medical Field....so I faxed it to her this morning. That was nice of her.....but I wonder if they can do anything.
 
Morning Maniacs! I did CC#1 on the St. Bike this morning. Burned 171 in 35 min. I'll do PUB later today. Still don't have a stability ball so will have to do a different ab workout. It's still cold here, 12 degrees, and it's very hazy. Our air quality the last couple of weeks has been terrible. Lots of people getting sick.

Lora- Good job on CC#7!

Char-Both my kids had braces. My daughter started with them in 3rd grade. She has perfect teeth now. DS's teeth are not a perfect. I have many stories of the lost retainer with him. LOL!

Meg- Enjoy ME today. Keep those kids away from the Stability Ball! Actually, one kid was riding my St. Bike and the ball was popped by rubbing on the wheel.

Debbie- Nice workout! Enjoy the snow! I've had my share this winter. I'm looking forward to the first tulips now.:)

Diane Sue- Looks like a bunch of us are doing CC this morning. Have fun.:)

Okay, I know what I said about sticking to P90X completely, but I HAD to do CC#6 this morning. I LOVE that one Debbie! I'll do Plyo tonight. My pecs are sore from yesterday's workout. My abs too. :)

Lora - have you gone to a temp agency yet? I would especially do that if your unemployment gets denied. At least that would give you money coming in while you're looking and hopefully help you get a job with one of the companies you end up temping with. It will give you a chance to check them out and them a chance to check you out. Good luck.

Char - My abs are not too bad this morning, ribs still hurt a bit. Chest and Tri's are still very sore.

Lora - I didn't think #7 was too bad, I was whooped by the time I was done but I enjoyed every minute of it. Love the sprinting in this one, the first challenge is awesome.

Dallys - Nice AVI. I like it. That ab workout sucks in PUB. I'm only saying that because I can't do it all the way through! :)

Suz - I'm glad you liked #6, its a fun one. Doesn't Candace's voice remind you of the narrator of Desperate Housewives? LOL!
 
Suz- I had a supsicion it might have been with Candace. Tony would LOVE that! Sean might too! ROFLMAO! Yes, I started BFL. I'll be using the EFL book. I've already cheated and had a beer yesterday. Doh!

Debbie-Yeah, I wasn't to worried my SB popped when I saw that ab work on my rotation.:) Oh Darn! No pikes today. LOL!

I'm rocking out while I'm working--Listening to Chris Cornell of the Temple Pilots "Un-plugged and Live" CD . EXCELLENT! My new fav. I'm in love! His rendishion (sp?) of "Billie Jean" is killer.

THis morning I did Cardio fusion Mix and Max that is such an awesome workout!
Have you guys every ordered with a Gift Card I cant seem to find were to put the # on the checkout page. I might just call and order then.
It is so freaking cold here it was 9 this morning!

I did Cardio Coach 6 with Candace and ran 5.5 miles, then I did Ab Jam with weighted gloves and a dumbbell, I followed with 4 sets each Bowflex high cable wood chops 15 reps, Bowflex resisted crunches 20 reps, wood chops on the stability ball 20 reps, hanging knee raise with 10# med ball 15 reps, I finished with Eoin Finns yoga quickie.

Lora, I would have to check the times but I think you could do the W/up and 1st lower body segment of APX (I think this is a good one) You would be doing the first 4 exercises, then do Step & Pump weight segments two times. It should come to about the same time as the other mish mosh you did. Or you could do Pyramid up skipping the w/up.

Dallys - Chris Cornell is in a band called Temple Pilots now??? I'm confused, as I thought he was in Audioslave.

Diane Sue - Thanks for the ideas..........I'll check out the Amy premix option later....as I could go for an Amy workout.

Deb - that's funny.......I was whooping at the end when I was pushing thru that last challenge.

Charlotte - my oil is shipping today from Dark Delacacies. I had to tal to them cuz my CC number came thru messed up.

Suz - I'll see what Unemployment says about my claim before I do Temp Work. Temp Work is too stressful at my age. I get really REALLY nervous when I start a new job.....to the point I think it's bad for my health. I want something permanent. If I have to though, I will.

Deb & Meg - Will Sonny and Carly get married again?? I hope so. I liked them together. Just so Jason doesn't end up with Elizabeth.........GAG ME!!!
