Suz - Do you like CC. I haven't tried any of them yet. I picked up a treadmill second hand, but the belt slips and I am waiting for DH to check it out. I tried but couldn't get it. Also it didn't come that way, it was fine when I bought it then DH tried to fix a squeak it made and now it slips! But the squeak is gone, LOL!

Char - Checked out the picture, great biceps! I feel your pain with the candy canes, only for me its chocolate!:p

Dallys - your not the only fool. I too am trying to lose weight over the Holidays! If I manage to do it I'll be impressed!

Where in the country do you live, Suz?

We had a ton of rain here last week (Cincinnati).

You all's can have that snow, thank you ;) Sounds like a real mess :eek:
 
Penney - I'm doing good, thanks for asking! I'm glad your diet program is going well. Isn't it cool to see veins? I have veins popping out all over. And you can definitely see them more since my tan is gone. LOL!

Sandy - I think any of us would get winded on stairs. I know I do. It's because it's a different endurance activity from what we're use too. Same thing happened to me when I started on my treadmill. I could do IMAX 3 without a problem, but put me on that treadmill for a few minutes and I felt like I was going to die. Now I can stay on the treadmill for an hour and I'm fine. So that doesn't necessarily mean your endurance isn't good.

Linda - I LOVE Cardio Coach! But I think I like it better on the elliptical than the treadmill. My dad has a treadmill that I use when I'm there and also if I'm traveling I will use a treadmill. Now I know why Debbie hates the hills so much! :) But the CC's are awesome workouts!!!

Penney - I live in Cheyenne, but we live just outside of town on 10 acres. Our development does not get plowed, so the snow just piles up up up. Our driveway is an incline and this morning you couldn't see where the driveway was and where the ditch was as I was going down, slipping and sliding, because it was just pure white everywhere. I wasn't sure where I was driving and just hoped I wasn't too close to the ditch. DH didn't get so lucky on his way back up. It's much harder in a car and he said snow was flying up everywhere as he was trying to get a good run at it. Our neighbors have an SUV and a car. They got stuck last year too. We'll see if they make it tonight. We may have another pull party. :)

Debbie- I've only been on this P90X rotation for 9 days! LOL! I know it's going to take much longer than that, but I'm impatient today. LOL!

Linda- I'm glad I'm not the only crazy one trying to lose a few lbs. over the holidays.:) You need to try CC, they really are good and make a huge difference one the hamster equipment. I mostly use the Stationary Bike when I use them.

OKAY! Someone just shoot me please!!! I just had a little piece of chocolate silk pie. WHAT is my problem????? WHERE has my rule gone???? I've had this rule in place for 5 years now at work. WHO do I think I am all of a sudden? And the worst part is that I even asked this other gal in our office to join us. She's new and she just joined WW. AND SHE WENT TOO!!! I'm a terrible influence. She had already blown it on some turtle cheesecake and I didn't help her any. *hangs head in shame* Oh, and we had to walk to another building to get it!

It is a good thing I'm done working for the rest of the year (although I might have to pop in a couple of times since I'm slacking a bit here :p ).

Hey Maniacs!!!

I finished the new 4 Day Split Bootie Camp. Really like this one. Found it to be short and sweet, but yet VERY effective and I got "endorphine power" now! lol. Did the ab work to LIS. So unusually warm out today...close to 70 so when I got done, I went outside in the sunshine and sat on my lounge chair and enjoyed the fresh air. What a treat from all the previous gray and rainy days!

My EATS for the day:

Meal 1: kelloggs Protein Plus Cereal
Meal 2: Protein Shake
Meal 3: Tuna Fish Kit, Spinach, apple with natural pb, few baked doritos
Meal 4: Dannon's Carb Control vanilla yogurt mixed with 46g of choc protein powder and a slice of cheese (((SANDY)))) LMAO!
Meal 5: Spaghetti (wheat noodles) with low carb bread and tiny salad

I did Imax 3 6-10 premix then HIS cardio then LIS finished product then coremax 1 lot of energy tonight:)

Debbie, I'll go with that then, I huff and puff going up stairs.

Charlotte, I knew you would like Bootie Camp! It's quick but very high energy! I love it. I just did a total body everybody!!! I did Jari Love's Get Ripped for the first time, and I feel GREAT! Wasn't going to excersise at all, because I just didn't feel up to it, but my hubby gave me the push I needed to get in there, and I'm so glad I did. I really feel great!!! Gonna eat some grilled chicken and broccolli and wild rice, no butter Debbie!

Now can anyone tell me how to upload pics?

It's 6:45pm and I'm STILL at work. But I'm getting ready to head out. Our neighbors got their car stuck at the bottom of their driveway too. DH went over and lent them our tow rope. The got it unstuck but weren't able to get up their driveway. DH told them they might as well leave it at the bottom. They agreed. :) DH said his patrol car will be stuck for awhile. The wind is supposed to pick up tomorrow which will make things a lot worse around here. That's when things get nasty. Drifts and really bad roads. I'm glad I'm off work!

Gotta run home. I'll definitely be putting it into 4WD to get up the driveway and won't slow down until I'm at the top. :)

Today's gym fun:

I am working biceps and shoulders extra to help strengthen them I'll do the extra shoulder work on Thursday, since Monday is my regular shoulder night. This workout was at the work gym.

BICEPS:
DB Curls: 12x15's, 10x20's, 8x20's, 3x25's(fail), 3x20's, 12x15's

Machine Preachers: 12x35, 10x40, 8x45, 6x50(some pause reps here), forgot to do the last 12-rep set!

CARDIO:
Elliptical: 30 minutes on weight loss intervals, 350 calories burned.

I got a little nauseous after my workout. Can cardio be puke-worthy?

I got a nice sweat in today!

Oh, isn't work horrible???? Someone at the office where I work at had chocolate cake for her birthday,and it took all my strength to walk away from it :p There's donuts for morning meetings, and pizza parties once a month.Oy! So hard to have to resist all the time.

Hallelujiah - THE SNOW PLOW CAME TO OUR NEIGHBORHOOD!!!! This is a first in the 3 1/2 years since we've lived here. Wooooo hooooo!!!!! Oh happy day!!!!!
