Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Thurs Dec 6

Lots of good workouts and eats today!

In case anyone's interested, I just put a copy of Petra Kolber's New Grooves Step Moves up for sale on Ebay for only $10. It's a pretty fun DVD. She teaches in a layering format. It's low intensity though.

Hello Maniacs,

I am checking late today, just to darn busy! Thrying to make a whole set of nativity costumes for a puppet show this Sunday! Working my butt off.

Anyway, the cold is starting to get the better of me. Had a hard time thinking I was going to do cardio this morning, but I perserved and did Kimberly Speen's Absolute Kickbox. As far as cardio it could be hard, but was good for me this morning. Does fry the shoulders how ever}( .

Debbie - thanks for the info on the fonts. Makes sense, it's alot of work to do all that on this forum. I am lucky if I find the time to type.

Well, tomorrow is leg day, here's hoping I feel up to the challenge!

It has been a busy day. DH and I went to a dinner for his work tonight. We did not eat. I had some iced tea. We went to Macdonalds after we left. I got a Southwest Grilled Chicken Salad. We bought it home so I used a little of the dressing packet and added some salsa. Lunch was a salad with blueberries and cranberries, walnuts and Kraft Organic Raspberry dressing. I made the lentil, cranberry, pecan salad in the new Oxygen Clean eating issue. Tasted it and it is pretty good. I put it away for tomorrow. May dump it on some greens. Not a lot of seasoning here. I am trying to find the recipes with low fat and sodium.

Charlotte, wow on those biceps!!!!

Dallys, glad you are on track with your workouts.

Linda, I know what you mean about the shoulders in Absolute KB. That is such a fun workout!

Penney, squats hit everything so well. Hopefully you can get back to them. Maybe the break will shock your system when you go back to them.

Hello everyone!

I know this is a really late post. But hopefully Diane Sue is still around to read. I've been so busy this week and I've missed you all. I need to get back on a schedule. I had that meeting Monday and then a migraine Tuesday and then the visit to the wind farm Wednesday (that was cool!). I had meetings all day today.

As I mentioned I fell off the P90X wagon. I really wish I could stick to a rotation, but I feel hopeless right now. I NEED to do weights more regularly. I'm such a cardio junkie. I'm lucky to do weights twice a week and that's just not enough. I want to do weights 3 times a week. Someone please KICK ME.

Diane Sue - I hope that you can get pictures posted of your finished crochet projects. And that is funny how you have trained one of your dogs to only go out if you're out too. Why do we do these things? We just don't think about it at the time or that it will always have to be that way - like they'll grow out of it. :)

Char - I can't believe you are lifting that weight!!!! Good grief woman!!! You make it look so easy. My arms would snap I'm sure.

Debbie - I did CC#4 today too. How funny! I bet your DH was pretty proud of you when his friend made that comment.

Lora - You'll get used to your job. It all just takes time.

Dallys - You and my DH and your pizza. I swear he could eat it 3 times a week if I'd let him. We finally agreed that when he orders pizza (we get it from the place where you take and bake) I'll get a salad and we'll freeze half the pizza and bake it another time for him. We'll try it once and see how it works out. I'm just not a huge pizza fan.

Okay, that's probably enough since you're probably all gone for the night.

Suz
