Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Thurs April 12

I wanted to thank you all for the compliments you all gave me today! It sure did make me feel good. Sometimes you lose track of why we all do this and hearing what you all said today reminds of why I do this. I do this because I love it, I love how it makes me look and feel!! It makes me feel accomplished. So thanks again!! :)

Meg - Hope you feel better soon! Great going on getting a workout in!

Lora - What you said was so sweet, thank you! And you should measure your thighs, its always nice to have a gage to where you are and where you want to be. Measuring is the only way to do that. I'm glad to hear the Fluidity workouts are working for you. About the boxing stuff, I think I'd like it but I really don't want to have to buy more equipment. I have no room for a boxing bag and I think thats what these workouts will entail. Not sure, though.

Diane Sue - Sorry to hear you are getting headaches. Nuts causing it is interesting, you must be allergic to them. I love Monica Brandt, she looks awesome. Great workout! I wish I had a Bowflex!

Randi - Great workout!! :) I am really anxious to see Cathe's new weight training workouts. I bet this new series will be kick ass!

Anne - Funny about your sister and the workouts! Is she getting sore?

Suz - I can't believe you get your HR up to 190! Dang, I'd die. The highest I've ever seen mine was 170 and that was doing Imax 3. I usually hit 165 on the treadmill and I'm about wheezing.

Hi Marietta! :)

Deb- I never thought about the equipment aspect of the workout! LOL. So, then -- you like regular kickboxing? right? I've really been getting into it lately. You don't ever do a Cathe kickbox with weighted gloves? I would think you would be one to enjoy it! So....did you see GH? Finally, some action. I wonder who will get shot this time? I always like it when the shooting starts ......as bad as that sounds. I bet you liked the B%$Ch slap that Lulu gave Maxie! I could see you now. I know you loved it. (no need to thank me for the comments.......I speak the truth. You work hard, you look great and you deserve the comments).

There are many ladies on this thread that look great and you ladies always inspire me to be better! and work harder.

I wish Charlotte was around. Ever since she posted from the Library on the computer, I've got this image in my head of her in the Library on the computer and I just keep laughing. I'm sorry......but Toasty does not look like your usual "Librarian" type or "book worm". I just find it so amusing. I wish she was here to tease about it.

Lora, I missed your question about the arm balances this morning. Yes, I do them most of the time. Sometimes if I am really sore from a weight workout is is hard to hold the pose for very long though.

Debbie, I really like my Bowflex. It gives me extra options with my home workouts. I am betting Cathe's Split workouts will be really good.

It's no biggie - my heart rate. I just happen to have a high heart rate. My lung doctor said it has nothing to do with the exercise-induced asthma and my cardiologist said it has everything to do with it b/c my heart and lungs are married and when my lungs can't handle the job my heart kicks in and takes over. Funny how they both have opposite answers, huh? :)

Diane Sue - I'm sorry about your headaches. I hate getting in that cycle. I was in it for so long and it felt like it would never end. I've been out of it now for over a week I think and I feel like a new woman. I pray that you get there too!!!

Suz
