Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did my Jillian Backside book circuit. I've been increasing my weights the last couple of workouts and I'm feeling it. Workout was 73" and I burned 435 calories, although my HRM is dying again and I only got a few readings in the beginning and then it quit working. I really need to get a new one....but no money yet. I'm gonna have to try and get these done quicker when I start work tomorrow.

Have great workouts or rest days.

ETA: Don't know where my head was at -- but I also did Perfect in 10 Stretch - Hips/back and upper body segment 10", Dharma Yoga (beach setting on this DVD is stunning), Energizing segment 20", Ravi & Ana's Dr. Yoga House Call - Inflammation segment 5", and Bye Bye Back Pain segment 10" followed by Fitness Fix Foam Roller Massage 15".

Fri did Boot Camp took a rest day yesterday. Today is MIC (maybe)her older workouts are kind of not very motivating anymore because of the music and it's a vhs so the sound is not very good:(

Morning ladies..
No w/o last night. We had no water. The line on the well came apart..
Fixed it this am, so i can use the toilet again. LOL..
I am going to try Tracys Sweatfest and maybe the core conditioning.
Depends if there is a shorter version.Haven't viewed it yet..

Then heading to my sisters for my nieces 16th birthday..

Diane Sue, the 2 workouts i can do in 1 hr 45 if i skip the warm up and only do 1 stretch..

Randi, haven't done bootcamp in a while , but i have the dvd..
Are you ok from the wreck.
Some one hit the back of my fricken truck..DH just called me to the garage..
There was a bunch of rust on the bumper and niks all over.
Piss me off..

Well, trying to get the DH down stairs so i can go.
Have the grandson, so we have to take turns.

Morning ladies!

It's cold here this morning. It was 39 degrees at 6am when I let the dogs out and fed them brekkie so they'd sleep a little longer. I told DH I was DEFINITELY working out today so he said let's go for a ride at 8:30 and it was 44. So I got ready and it had dropped to 41 by the time I was ready so he decided we should get in the hot tub with coffee instead. :p Then the Bronco's play at 11 so I'll probably end up in the basement.

Great workout Lora. I hope your first day at work goes well. I'm sure it will.

Randi - I hope you have a good workout today. I'm with you - I can do some of the older stuff, but I can only go SO far back. :)

Good Morning, I woke with a headache and coughed all night. So I did not go to church. Took some aspirin and did Rainbeau Mars Dawn Yoga and some of Keli Roberts foam roller Flexibility for the inflexible. My roller is not long enough for the core segments.

Anne, there is no warm up on Sculpt Sweatfest. There are several premixes though. Even if you only did part of Core Conditioning you would get an excellent workout. The stretch is 6 minutes and is pretty good as well.

Suz, relaxing in the hot tub on a cool morning sounds nice. It is still warm and drizzly here.

This morning was Legs. Had a great workout. It is cooler here but still very humid. WTF? I thought these stupid forecasters said the humidity would go away by today. Idiots.

65# - 20 - ATG
85# - 15 - Parellel
95# - 12/12/12 - Parelle
[font color=blue]***Decided to go lighter with these and focus on form. I am happy with the way my legs look so I don't feel that I need to keep increasing the weights. Plus my low back does not like me doing heavy squats. These felt great and I got an excellent burn. Upped the reps big time here.[/font]

Hack Squats:
85# - 10 (up 5#)
95# - 8/8 (down 5# - I did 100# last week but again, wanted to focus on form)
[font color=blue]***I think these are the culprit for the tightness in my shoulder blade I had a few weeks back. After I got done with the 2nd set of 95# I felt it pull. It's hurting a bit now and I hope it doesn't get worse. I didn't do a 3rd set.[/font]

Elevated SLDL:
75# - 10
85# - 8/8/8
[font color=blue]***My low back was feeling these today for some reason. I was going to lower the weight for the 3rd set but decided to keep going.[/font]

Static Lunges:
95# - 8/8/8 (up 10#)
[font color=blue]***These felt great at 95#. Great burn in the glutes and I was fried when I got done.[/font]

Hamstring Curls:
50# - 12
55# - 10/10
[font color=blue]***Was going to skip these because of the way my low back felt with the SLDL but I stretched out a bit and did them. I'm feeling good.[/font]

oK, NOW I NEED A BOSU..
I did 1 and 2. How do you balance both knees on a stability ball..
I about killed myself.
Needed a video here..of me trying. LOL..
The 1st will be nice for vacations... No equipment...just a 3-5lber..

I am going to do the core conditioning tomorrow.
Now a good cure for cramps would be nice..
well, gotta get a bath and go to this party..

Wasn't ignoring all. Computer is acting up at work. and i had to buy a new one. We are trying to get all my data transferred. I went with a new software program.ACT for the client database. I hate all the salon software.. So we have to manually put 2000 people back in.
Oh, i hate windows VISTA...

Now to get the granson dressed. He hates clothes. He pees and strips..
I try to tell him a bee is gonna get his bird.. He does not care...

Anne, I am getting better at the stability ball balancing but still have to catch the floor with one toe off and on. This workout is why I broke down and purchased the bosu. Then I bought double cardio for that workout and I love the abs on it. I preordered Amy's and Tracey's which both incorporate the bosu. I want to make use of it since I wpent the money. We bought new lap tops and one had Vista. We sent it back and purchased one without it. It was hard to find. A lot of our programs did not work with it or we had to do a search to download what we needed to get it to work. It ended up costing us as we put our last download of Microsoft office on the one we returned:( Had to buy it again.

Doing some yoga today and will start back on track tomorrow.

Hi, all.

This morning I did Muscle Max upper body premix, stopped before the stretch then did Seasun's BOSU Blast warm up, cardio, and abs. Yikes - that ab segment was a doozy! Perhaps my arms were tired from Muscle Max but they were shakin' like mad during those planks on the BOSU. But I loved this workout and will definitely be doing it again soon.

Lora - speaking of where your head is at, is your headache gone?

Randi- MIC, oi. I need motivation to do that one. Good luck.

WD - Hola. Sorry you aren't feeling well. I have Rainbeau Mars but haven't tried it yet.

Anne - Yes, the balancing on the ball does get easier. I e-mailed Tracey for some advice a while back, and she told me to first practice in a doorway, holding onto the doorframes while kneeling on the ball. Now I can do it no problem, though I still only use 5 lb dumbbells during that segment. My favorite parts of that workout are the ab segment in section 1, and the squats on the BOSU in section 2.

Suz - 39 degrees is cold! It was 60 here and I thought that was chilly! You go, girl.

Debbie - thanks for the info re the length of your workouts.

I'm thinking of making my workouts a bit shorter. Either that, or I'm thinking of getting on Yaz or the Nuva-ring (sp?) or something. I eat well for 3 weeks and ruin it as I become voracious during PMS (and I seem to only consume junk during this time). It is then hard for me to get back on track. In any event, thanks for the info. Your workouts (all you Maniacs) impress me to no end.

My sister has 2 jack russels and one bit Steven on the nose.. He was freaking.So was i . Her excuse is she is not used to kids. Well,i told her to put him away if he isn't used to kids..

This dog is down right mean. Thank god she didn't bite in. Just little teeth marks..I was just imagining his little nose gone..
You know this dog is spoiled and not mistreated and i don't know why she is so mean.I do know she got the mail man once.Health dept was at her door checking shots ..

I was really good. I ate 1/2 an ear of corn with no butter, piece of grilled chicken and some tomatoe slices and fruit.
I skipped the potato salad and sausage..
I ate no cake..

Well, the couch is calling me..

Diane Sue, i had to down load a printer driver, but a friend that works at UPS , a big shot gave me a copy of office. Key code puts itself in. It loaded no problem..
Why do they have to change up things? I was just fine with xp.
I am figuring it out, but it is annoying me..The right click admin is stupid, and it asks you to confirm everything..


Deb, do use something to spot you on the heavy weights??

Hey Maniacs!!!

Did Cardio Coach #5 this morning, but did not have time to finish it. Had to sleep in some cuz been doing so much. I still burned 200 cals and traveled 2.5 miles. Gonna work my arms in a few minutes. Tomorrow I have to work dayshift again so I will figure out what I will be doing when I get home. I have to try to clean my house before I leave.

Lisa - Come on over! :) The hot tub was nice. I sure didn't want to work out after that. But I did Cardio Coach 6. Still haven't done weights. What IS my problem?

I've been reading sewing blogs all afternoon. I can't believe how talented these people are...the clothes they make. Oh my goodness. They look at all of the fall fashions and then get patterns and whip stuff up. I'm off to my sewing room. Nobody within 70 miles had that quilting software. So I'm off to make a clothing item in the meantime.
