Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Sunday Sept 30

Morning Maniacs -

I managed to get up 15 minutes to 4 today.....not quite what I wanted to do! Still having trouble getting out of bed.

Off to do some Tracey kickboxing with my boot on, as I don't want to overdo it on my foot. Be back later.
 
I started out doing Tracey's Kickbox Challenge 20" and then I did Turbo Jam Fat Blaster. I did the high intensity intervals on the Rebounder and repeated the last blast for a 53" workout and burned 365 calories. I then did Lotte Berk Bonus Blast from Essentials 10" and Yoga to Go - Yoga on the Yuba River #4 55". I was happy doing the intervals on the Rebounder, as I got my HR up to 166 and was doing flying jacks, tuck jumps, etc to really kick up the intensity. That's why I quit the Tracey Kickbox, cuz my HR was staying steady state and I didn't want to do another low intensity workout today.

Have great workouts or rest days everyone. The Rob Zombie move, Halloween, yesterday was very good. My DH thought it was a bit brutal and bloody....but we thought it was well done. It actually was the story of what made Michael Myers psychotic and followed him from a 10 year old boy and the story ended where the Halloween's first started. I thought it was sort of cool.

Got your message regarding perfumes. I only ordered Scorpio (although I am afraid it might be stinky cuz of the notes):eek: I got some of the new diabolus scents too...nothing else. I think both Midnight Kiss and Vampire Tears would be nice, but not right now do I need to order more as I just got some villianess soaps too and then ordered some blooming teas. My hubby hasn't been home much lately and when he is home just feel ignored so I tend to buy more.

Been sick. I was down for a week with something , then the stomache flu. I missed my 1st day of work in 6 yrs. Hope you don't get it.I didn't even have the strength to make Jello..
Ate 2 cans of mandarin oranges for 2 days and gingerale..Sugar pop gags me..But, needed some calories in me, even empty..

As to say, haven't been working out like i like. I am going to do the bosu workout that came with it then Tracy's abs..
I did drop a few more # though..
Must have been the wine...

Char, mine has been working in Harrisburg ... Home alone..

My nerves are shot. Zoning hearing this Thursday.. An architect wanted 15 grand to draw blue prints.. I am choking here..
Found and engineer for 2 grand. This new stupid uniform construction code. You would think i am building a wal mart..

Diane Sue i am likin the Bosu. Do alot of abs, chest, pull overs on it..Glad i bought it..

Diane Sue -I forgot to answer you about Villainess. If you have time, I'd order the Whipped Body Cream before you leave cuz Sugar Buzz tends to be pretty popular.

Toasty - I ordered Incubus and Event Horizon and Goblin out of Diabolus and Bewitching Brews (I think). I haven't gotten Goblin yet, but I love Event Horizon and Incubus!!! I think Midnight Kiss is gonna be rockin'!

Anne, glad you like the bosu. I know I love mine. I think it makes a difference. Have you tried balancing and doing core on a foam roller. It is a lot harder than you would think. I want to get a longer one.

Well, i ended up with the w/o that came with the bosu. It was ok, but boring. then i did tracys sculpfest..
I like the 1 legged squats on the ball. I did the knee ball balancing on the Bosu so i don't break my neck..
I like the off stsble exercises..
Well, i got a little of everything in so bath time..

We are at our campgrounds and I have my internet hooked up. Bought some light weights, bands and some dvd's.

Anne, I was not impressed with that Bosu dvd that came with mine either. You need CIA Double Cardio (bosu blast is a great workout for cardio and the abs)

Diane Sue - I'm eyeing some of my newer videos in my box to try this week, but I don't want to be disappointed (and there's a lot in there I'm iffy on that might go straight to Ebay). I was eyeing The Pit. What did you think of it? I'm not sure if I want to try it this week or not. thanks. I'm sort of leaning towards trying only 1 new workout a week so I don't have too many bad workouts......and I'm thinking I should start doing Pilates/non-traditional leg work on my rest days to fit that in. There's never enough time to do everything. I'm going to start that M&F Hers rotation either next week or the following week....depending on how I feel. Do you have the Sept/Oct issue of M&F for Her?? Are there any good rotations in it?

Toasty -let me know what you think of Event Horizon and Incubus when you get them.
 
Lora, I still have not tried the other Pit workouts. I only did the lower body one and the abs from the total bady. After I did the lower one is when my Plantar Fasciitis seemed to come back. Something about it didn't click as something I look forward to doing. Maybe sometime when I try the others I will feel differently. M&F Hers Sept/Oct issue has a Get Strong in 9 weeks rotation that looks good it changes every three weeks. On week 1-3 you work upper Mon and Thurs sets and reps are different on each day then Tues and Fri you work lower and abs and sets and reps change on each day 4 sets 10 reps one day and 3 sets of 8 on the second day. It looks pretty good.
