Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Sunday Sept 3

Morning Fit Ladies -

I have to go into work this morning to do Payroll (joy - I get to see my boss) so I only had time for a "mini" workout. My rotation called for Kenpo X (and Power Yoga that I missed during the week)....but I did Turbo Jam Fat Blaster (30 min) and Eion Finn's Power Yoga for Happiness - Quickie Premix.

I feel bad about not doing enough aerobics cuz I need to lose weight, but maybe the short, intense workout will be good enough.

The movie Crank yesterday was good...but I don't know if it's everyone here's kind of movie. It was fast paced with lots of action. Jason Stratham is the guy who was in it from The Transporter. He's good with the fight scenes, etc.

We're either going to see Little Miss Sunshine, the Wicker Man or Lady in the Water (at the cheap theater) today.

I'll be back later. I have to think about what I'm gonna pack for Vegas and I don't know what to take. It's not going to be that warm there...highs of 80 and lows in the upper 40's and since we're usually out in the wee morning hours, I'm sure I'll be freezing...and I don't have many long sleeved tee's that I like. I could also use a new pair of Doc Marten's but I have no cash. E-bay business has been slow.

Well off to eat breakfast and get ready for work....yuk.

Charlotte - are you around today? Did you see my question yesterday about Devil's Night? So far, Phantom Calliope is the HIT of the Carnivale for me. I LOVE IT AND NEED massive amounts! Carnival Diabolique is good, MMe Moriarty, The Candy Butcher, Midnight on the Midway are also my fave's so far. All of the ones I knew I'd like ...but I didn't think The PHantom Calliope would end up one of the best ever BPAL blends.

ETA: For those of you who don't know about BPAL (Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab Perfume Oils) -- I'm sort of addicted to these great oil blends and this is the Carnivale Limited Edition Series that I'm talking about.

Morning Maniacs!
Today is biceps, triceps, and abs. No cardio today. I did S&H biceps this morning when I got up, then did MM tries. Still goin to the gym later to do alittle more.

Lora-O great have fun at work today:p Isn't doin payroll a blast;-) And don't feel worried about not doing your ENTIRE workout today. You probally don't do this all the time so your body may be thanking you for alittle break.

Charlotte-Hope everythings ok. Didn't see you here yesturday, but I bet your busy and stuff at work and w/ kids and all.

Another full body workout today. This one was supersetting two exercises doing 2 sets/18 reps/90 sec. rest. This one was hard, 18 reps is really hard when lifting heavy. This is what I did:

Push Ups - 2 sets/18 reps - just did these by themselves

SS #1:
Barbell Bench Press - 70#/65#
Hammer Curls - 17's each hand

SS #2:
Squats - 75#
Tricep Dumbbell Overhead Extension - 30#

SS #3:
Barbell Upright Row - 45#/40#
Calf Raises - 60#/30 reps

Then I did Muscle Max Abs and 20 minutes on the treadmill, only did a fast walk to keep my HR in the 120/122 zone because I was wiped out after that full body workout. I walked 1.04 miles.

For the entire workout I was in my zone for 38 minutes and burned 308 calories.

I am here Adri.
I was buisy with the grandson and working on copying papaers for the lemon law lawyers.
I got in GS Legs last night. I really heavied up. No doms yet.
Today is back shoulders and bi.and some abs and cardio
Going to but a stainless grill and my new Moen faucet is leaking. So, off to Lowes 1st then w/o later.
Debbie, you are one strong lady. I can only throw 60 on my back for squats.
How do you do it?

O ok Anne. Just wanna make sure everyones ok. I know between work, the kids, workouts, and your own life it can be difficult to fit everything in;-)

I do squats w/ a 70# barbell, but I gatta tell you...I can only do that much weight at the gym because if you go to one, you know how they have a 45# barbell that you can do chest presses w/ and they have a station where you can do squats then put the bar back onto a "hook" I guess you can call it. Then you go under it, stand up, and the bar is already on your shoulders. I call it "cheating" for me
:p :p because it allows me to squat w/ more since I did have to pick up the bar myself and put it on my shoulders:p LOL

Hi all!:)
Just doing a quick check-in. I went on a 2hr Mt. Bike ride up in the canyon this morning. It's a pretty good ride. Lots of hill climbs. Then a couple hours later I did P90X Chest and BackX and Ab ripperX. I'm exhausted!}( I'm thinking a nap sounds good about now.

Hey guys. Boy was I busy today. I started at 11am, turning our (messy) storage room into an office for me. I didn't finish, or sit down, till 5:30!!
I just did the Gauntlet (wow) and did my tricep work.

2 sets of 12 reps

lying barbell extensions (I have never done them, but I love the burn)
seated dumbell overhead press
dips
kickbacks

I was REALLY burning. Great WO! I was going to do abs, but way to whooped. I will do Coremax one and two tomorrow.
