Morning Maniacs -

I overslept a bit and didn't feel like getting up. I don't really feel like Spinning...but I have to cuz I have to give my foot a day off. Will do some Spinning and maybe some Pilates and yoga. Be back later.

I ended up doing Mindy Myrlea's Super Cycle. This was really hard for me and my legs felt like lead. Workout was 66" and I burned 603 calories. I then did 10 Minute Solutions - Pilates Slim & Sculpt with the band - Ab segment and stretch segments 20" and finished off with AM Yoga with Barb Benagh - Awaken the Spine segment 35".

My body is toast and I have no idea how I'm supposed to do that M&F workout tomorrow..........hopefully, I'll feel better in the morning. Off to get my bath and then it's Sunday morning job searching.

Have great workouts or rest days everyone.

This morning was cardio. Decided to do Cardio Coach #4. LOVE this workout. I can't believe I almost deleted this workout from my Mp4 player because I dreaded it so much a few months back. I love it now. Had an excellent workout.

Today is my rest day. I took my grandson to church this morning. Stayed up way to late last night so I am dragging.

Anne, I ordered my Cathe dvd's on July 9th. I am not sure what day the presale started. I know the new Amy and Tracey dvd's I ordered the first day they opened a presale.

Hello Ladies!

This morning I did CC#6 again. Had cramps but was able to get through the workout. :) Had a great workout. Today we're going to work on getting the RV cleaned up (it's FULL of mouse poop, lots of old food - it's a PIT). It needs the carpet replaced and the furniture is torn up from the cats. It's really disgusting. Amazing he paid almost $100,000 for it and he'll be lucky to get $5,000 I bet. Later today we're going to a big crab festival in Port Angeles. One of Mary K's nurses wants to go. She's about my age and new to town. She says my dad is her new best friend b/c she doesn't know anybody. :) Should be fun.

Diane Sue - Thanks for answering my post yesterday. I was beginning to think my posts were invisible the past couple of days b/c nobody was responding to them. :( I'm glad your migraine is gone. Enjoy your rest day.

Debbie - Funny how your least favorite CC is now your fav. :)

Storm - So ya gonna work out all day long? :p

No, Dallys. Just 2 hrs. I am whipped....
I did an hour on the recumberant bike. Back shoulders and bi.. Legs are still shaking .
RV sounds gross. EWWWW.. Have fun..LOL..
Deb, i go through spells on the CC's.. One week i like one. One week another..Guess it is the mood..
I just got on and did the interval program and watched SVU..
Funny, sometimes i need music. Intervals get me going longer. The 3 min in between makes them go faster..

I hate migranes.. I get them. Stupid insurance only gives 4 immatrex a month now. I pray i don't need them..

Hello everyone else..
Have a great what is left of the weekend.
Gonna get a bath. I am soaked..and probably stink..

Diana Sue, i don't know when i ordered Cathe's.. I know it was the 1st day..
Not doing big weights right now.I am sure i can modify.. Not till i know what this back pain is.. I have these herbal pain patches. They were expensive, but work.
I am hoping pulled muscle. I can handle dealing with that. Not sure about a kidney stone. They say they are painful..

Suz - I always read your posts......just didn't respond yesterday, as I'm sort of a germaphobe....so I didn't know what to say about that. I'm a freak about washing my hands and touching doorknobs, etc. I'm sorry you got stuck taking care of your Step-Mom. Poor lady.....that's got to be difficult. Sounds like you had a good workout today, despite the cramps. I have to take Advil when I have cramps to work out hard.

Hey Maniacs! Quick check-in here! No workouts so far this weekend. Been busy helping dd move and went to a wedding last night and today is just alot of ebay stuff. So, that's MY excuse.:p

Suz- I have'nt had much time to post the last few days. I've been speed reading posts mostly, so I'm sure I've missed tons of things. Sorry!:) I'll be back on track tomorrow...hopefully. Sounds like you have a lot of things going on at Dad's house. You and your sister and the hubster are terrific people for all you are going doing. And your dad must be a saint!

I'll post more tomorrow...promise!

Hey Maniacs!!!

Today I am resting. Hard to walk. Leg work yesterday was a good one. :p  After work, went with my friend (co worker) and we had a few beers and danced our butts off for a few hours. I needed to get out and be silly...even if for a few hours. No one got hurt in the process. :p :+

Leg Work yesterday:

deadlifts 3 sets/8 with 110#
ATG squats with 110# 3 sets/6 (closed my eyes..legs shaking..was tough)
Leg Ext with 90# 3 sets/8
Plyo's off stepper 3 sets/16 (into wide stance squat between jumps)
1 min wall squat with 40# db 2x's
30 min of ab work from Arnold book

Lora,

I got about 6 or 7 oils written down that I am getting. Is Gingerbread Poppet such a big deal cuz everyone always bids this one up on ebay? I am not a huge fan of plain ole' ginger so was just wondering. Decided not to get Peacock Queen. Must have Snow White though from what I have heard from reviews, etc. I have nothing I am gonna sell off except for maybe Vampire Tears if I don't like that one. I haven't gotten it yet. Scorpio should be here tomorrow as I was hoping I would have gotten it yesterday. Oh, well. Oh, no street corners this time. I will just dress up for Halloween at work and hold out a jar for money. Ha ha. Just kidding. :p

Toasty -I don't know about Gingerbread Poppet. I've ordered it in the past cuz I love ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon.....but for some reason....I buy it and wear it and just think I smell like Gingerbread and I'm not sure I want to walk around smelling like Gingerbread.....even though I like the smell. Do you know what I mean? Snow White is a fave of mine....although some people don't get what the big deal is about it......but I'm not one of them. Vampire Tears doesn't sound that bad. Guess I'll have to see when I get it. My orders are all held up ....and I'm not happy about it. I guess Beaver Moon was on backorder or something. So.........out getting into trouble while the hubby is away, huh??

Just finished watching Evan Almighty. Kind of a funny movie. I have been looking at hairstyles. I think I would like to do something different. I am getting tired of my hair.

Anne, sorry that you are having back troubles. I hope that you get it taken care of soon.

Lora, I have been looking at the yoga dvd's and sites that you gave me. Yoga to the rescue is one that I had actually put in my wish list. I should check out the free zone on our cable television. They have portions of different workouts on there. I found the abs portion of Bosu blast on there recently.

Diane Sue - let me know what you decide to do with your hair. Our hair is about the same length (at least in your avatar picture - a couple inches shorter) and I'm so sick of mine but every time I talk to my stylist...I end up with the same thing. I don't know what to do. I need ideas. I like that longer, shoulder length bob that's sort of layered and much longer in the front than the back.....but it requires a person to have extremely straight hair or a using a flat iron daily. My hair is curly and even when I try to blow it straight, it curls up and I'm terrible with using a flat iron. I have no patience with styling my hair. Is your hair straight?

Back from the Crab Festival. We didn't end up eating crab there. My dad is kind of a crab snob. :) He and his wife lived on a sail boat for 11 years (sailing the South Pacific) that he built. Before that he went crabbing all the time in LA. Anyway, we ended up going to a Chinese buffet. Very healthy. :p Mary K's nurse who went with us said that people like my dad is the reason she is able to do her job b/c he takes "til death do us part" to heart. She said he didn't just dump his boat back in the water and take off and come and see her once every 3 months. I thought that was cool.

Lora - There was a booth at the festival that had essential oils. I got her card so I could give you her website. It's called The Lily Cupboard. Her website is www.lilycupboard.com. I recognized the oils right away from what you've sent me. :) She was adorable!

Diane Sue - Can't wait to see what you choose for a new hairstyle. That's always fun!

Thanks you guys! I should have known you weren't ignoring me. :)

P.S. This is kind of weird. Mary K. is 5'8" just like I am. She has weighed 140 pounds for most of her adult life. In the past year she got all the way down to 100 pounds and then last my dad knew she was 110. So my dad wanted my DH to weigh her by holding her while he was on the scale. So last night he did that. She weighed 118. Of course he said that is because yesterday I fed her way more than he usually does. Anyway, the past few years I've weighed 140 and this year I weigh 118. I just think that's weird.
