Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Sunday March 30

Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did Cardio Coach 1 on the Treadmill on the 2nd incline setting (first time I've done this...as it bothered my back in the past). I also did Walk Fit with Candace with the highest incline on the TM and held hand weights for intensity. Cardio was 65" with stretch and I burned 536 calories.

I also did Spinervals Flexible Warrior for Runners and Shoulder High off of PY4H 2 Surf Edition.

Have great rest days or workouts everyone. I'm trying to decide what sort of weight work I want to concentrate on for the next couple weeks. I"m not sure all of these circuit weight workouts are doing me any justice cuz they make me so hungry and I just eat too much. Still haven't been able to lose the weight I gained from being off of work and over Christmas.......and it's a lot more than 1/2 pound mighty TOASTY!!!

Toasty - are you gonna get Rockin Body? If you do, it looks like the 2 add on workouts (that come in the Deluxe package) are more intense than the regular package. I'm previewing them. The music isn't all known music....as some of them have a generic techno beat. Do you have any of your husband's bonus money left?

So - is anyone gonna purchase the new piece of equipment Cathe posted on the Blog? I'd like to have it to do the intermediate pullups and for bench presses, etc....but not sure I can afford it.
 
Good Morning, today is a rest day for me. Tomorrow I am starting a week of Slow and Heavy with a total body workout at the end of the week.

Lora, I think the new piece of equipment Cathe has posted looks like it would be nice to have. Not sure I would purchsse it though. I am going to see how it works out using the Bowflex and my VKR tower first. I could use a pull up bar though.

Today I start my new rotation. It has 4DS premixs mixed with GS weight work.

Randi - what rotation are you starting? Also, I've been meaning to ask you how you're recovery is coming along with your past problem. Do you feel more confident and is it getting easier to deal with on a daily basis? Are you still going for counseling? I hope you don't mind me asking, but I only ask because I care. You're looking really good these days.

Thank you for asking. I'm doing much better still seeing a counselor and a phycotrist sp? I'm still not on that threputic "level". It takes so long that's why you have to keep up with seeing doctors and thrapist. I know I will feel a lot better hopfully soon:)
My doctor has upped my dosage slowly cause you have too. My body has to adjust everytime and sometimes my mood is all over the placex(
But he has stopped at 200mg i've been on that mg for almost a month and i'm pretty level i guess:-/ This is such a long roadx(

Hey Maniacs!!!

Resting today. I am sore from this workout yesterday. I did my absolute best and wish I could bench more, but it was my best and I am wiped out from this workout so I did really good, imo. This is what I did yesterday:

1:30 rest between each set

CHEST
Incline Barbell Press:
55# - 15/15 (warmup)
80# - 6/4
75# - 7


Flat Barbell Press:
85# - 4
80# - 6
75# - 7/6


Weighted Pusho ups
25# plate - 8/6/6/4
***dropped to two ten pound plates on back after 3rd set and then on knees as well. Took alot of work from triceps doing these. Good Gosh!


TRICEPS
Close-Grip Bench Press:
50#- 10 (warmup)
75# - 5
70# - 6/6/6
65# - 7


Skull Crushers:
40# - 6/6
35# - 6


ABS
Butts and Guts

No, Not gonna get that workout. Gotta set aside some money for our trip to Savannah Ga in May so gotta watch it some. (yeah, right) }( :p
 
Charlotte - Great workout! The weights you're using IMO are way up there! You're kidding about going to Savannah??? We've been thinking about a weekend trip for a few months now! If you're passing through SC let me know and I'll just catch a ride with ya'll. HA! We're going to Charleston this weekend to check out some vacation spots for May 10th that's our anniversary!

Debbie - I bet you are glad to be back at it, especially with a new rotation. Will it be okay for me to start this one after I finish the one I've been on? Is the one you're doing now to help gain or tone??? Looks like maybe to gain. We want the leg press. Gonna look at some more. Went to Dicks this weekend and didn't see any in the store, have to get online. I hope you get yours soon! The high step leg press seems to wipe me out! I would rather have the leg press! LOL
