Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Sunday March 23

Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did Cardio Coach on the Treadmill followed by Candace's Fit To Walk I. I put the TM on the highest incline (only have 3 settings though) and used hand weights for the walking part. I had a pretty tough workout...although my HR did not get that high running ...only in the 150's as I'm just getting back into running after my recent stress fracture. I was surprised how high I got my HR doing super fast speed walking on that incline. Cardio was 72" with cool down/stretch and I burned 594 calories.

I also did Bar Method Bonus workout 8" followed by Eion's PY4H Surf Edition - Sunset Session. I thought the yoga would be a nice relaxing one cuz of the name...but it was quite challenging. Lots of work on one leg before switching to the next leg. My legs, low back and core (and shoulders) are toast right now and at the moment....I feel spent. Don't know if I'll even be able to workout tomorrow. Hopefully a soak in epsom salts will remedy that!

I am rolling this morning..
I am going down to do 4ds total body. Then 30 min on the treadmill..

Good Morning, today is normally my rest day but knowing there is going to be lots of goodies I did Kempo+ and then I did Kelly Roberts Flexibility foam roller workout. I have two slow cookers going with roast in them. I have 17 people to feed:) A craft set out for the grandchildern and hopefully it will be warm enough because I have plans for a crab walk relay race for the grandchildren:)

Lora, nice workout. You got a pretty good calorie burn with the walking workout:) Which Candace has the Walking workout??

Anne, dinner sounds yummy. I love lasagne.

Diane - I did the Fit to Walk Vol 1 which is the shorter ...easier one..but I did CC #2 before that and practiced building up to running again. The intervals weren't that long on the Candace one...but I didn't take full rests either. I experimented with that super fast walking where your pace is so fast that you're sort of running without the impact. The incline also felt a bit harder on my TM today. I like the Candace ones cuz I'm trying to incorporate more low impact like you and these will work on the Rebounder, outside or on the TM. I always feel guilty if I do Cardio Coach and just walk the intervals.....and usually end up running....so CC never stays low impact for me!
