Morning Maniacs -

My alarm didn't go off and I overslept. Have an early morning meeting so I'm not sure what I have time to do yet. Be back later. May take a semi-rest day.

I'm back. I only had time to do The Firm Cardio Overdrive - Express workout - 25" and then I did Cathe's Total Body Stretch 13".

Have great workouts or rest days ladies. I've got to get my bath and get ready for our meeting with the Realtor this morning. I may go down the house and work today too. Got the carpets scrubbed here. My DH usually does them and he's NEVER done the upstairs, the stairs or the cellar landing....all of which I did and the water was disgusting. I'm OCD about it and feel like I need to do them again.

I'm still a bit sore from all the circuits this week and that makes me happy. I'm going to stick with them for a while.

Good Morning
Did Boot Camp last night, today is more cardio.
Lora I'm doing circuit workouts this month I like them as well. I've been sore all week:)
Have a great day and workouts everyone:)
Randi

Good Morning, my Dad left so today I will do a total body workout and some cardio. May get some errands ran and see what I need to stock up the trailer for the fourth of July campout. I will be taking an exercise break for a few days then.

Got on the scale this morning and I'm down to 126.2# and around 16.25% body fat. I haven't been this low since 2005! One more pound to go and 1.25% body fat.

This morning was Week 3 and did Push. Same workout as last Saturday but upped the weights and/or reps. 2 minute rest between everything:

Chest
Barbell Bench Press: 105# - 3 sets/6 reps (up 5#)
Low Incline Dumbbell Press: 42's - 3 sets/8 reps (up 2#)
Decline Dumbbell Press: 40's - 3 sets/10 reps (same)

Legs
Squats: 100# - 3 sets/6 reps (up 5#)
Hack Squats: 90# - 3 sets/8 reps (up 5#)
Static Lunges: 65# - 2 sets/10 reps (down 5# because I felt a pull in my low back with the last set of squats. Didn't want to push it and injure myself)

Shoulders
Barbell Press: 62# - 4 sets/6 reps (up 2# - love those magnets!)
Dumbbell Press: 27's - 1 set/7 reps; 25's - 2 sets/8 reps

Triceps
Close Grip Barbell Press: 85# - 6/5/4 reps (Up 5# and this one I failed completely on the last rep with set 3. I went up for the 5th rep and my arms would not move. LOL! Put the bar on my abs and rolled up. Sucks to not have a spotter)
Bench Dips - 3 sets/15 reps (up 3 reps)

Workout was 1:35.

Hope you all have a great weekend and workouts

Morning Maniacs! Today is a rest day. Have lots of cleaning and yard work and all that unfun stuff to do.

Lora and Randi- Circuits sure have a way of wearing us out, don't they? I've got 3 weeks left of them. I love circuits!

Debbie- I need me some of those magnets. It also would be great to have a spotter around all the time. Great job on getting so close to your goal! I'm slowly creeping towards mine. I don't have far to go, but it seems like a very long way some days.

Diane- Hope you had fun with your dad. I'd love to have a trailer and do some camping too! I know that can be fun.:)

Julie- It sounds like you have a great trainer! I'd love to punch at mitts and all that fun stuff! And you are hardcore for sure!}(

Hi to everyone who follows.

I finished my workout. I did Sharon Twombly's All Body Cardio and then did Kimberly Spreen's Kickbox Bootcamp skipping the w/up. Just finished my egg white omelet and am off to shower and run some errands. BBL

Debbie, great job. Your stats are looking good.

Dallys, enjoy your rest day. Or at least try to:)

Hi Ladies!

Just finished 62.5 mile ride on the bike. Didn't get windy until the last 20 miles or so. Off to Macaroni Grill. Yummy!!! More later - if I'm awake!

Hope you're all having a great weekend!

Master Master Suz....I am also bowing down before thee Greatness. What was your time on this? I am doing 30 again tomorrow. Feels so weenified compared to your 60ish. Is your bottom sore? I guess you can eat whatever you want after that. Oy!

Today is my rest day by the way. I am feeling tired. I think I need to adjust to working nights as I am still use to getting up at the same time so I am not sleeping enough now.

My son wants to start P90X Monday now.

So looks like everyone is having killer workouts today. Very motivating. Like to hear. Enjoy the rest of the day, ladies!

Charlotte~~

Suz - no wonder the weight is just coming off you. You're awesome.

Dallys- yes, I'm very happy with how hard the circuits seem to be working my body. I like that Jillian only does 10 reps, as it allows me to heavy up and still keep my HR up......both great in my book. I'm at least down to my prevacation weight finally. Now I only have about 7 more to go.

Great workouts everyone.

I just wanted to pop in and say that we've had a gorgeous 2 days in Northeastern Ohio. The air is cool and the sun is hot. Just the way I like it. Beautiful yesterday and today. Couldn't ask for more!

Hi ladies;)
I'm pretty sore from my workouts this week:) Boot camp last night and today cardio. maybe Power Max =) My dog got a Shed X done today it's suppose to elimanate 75% of shedding. People at work are real happy with it so I decided to try it.

You girls are so funny! Yes, I have a couple little owies on my hoo ha. Forgot to use my chamios cream. Darn! DH will have to be gentle with me, if you know what I mean! :p Sorry, TMI.

As for time, I forgot to look at my time when I got back!!!!! I know that it took me longer than I wanted though. I was riding with the two fast Jens who were doing the 100 mile century. This other gal started with us but fell back. She was only going to do 30. But I know she can have some days where she's a bit faster (has kicked my butt before on really windy days when I can't breathe!). So at the first stop I asked her if she wanted to do the metric century with me (the 62.5) and she was not sure b/c she had never gone that far. I said if I slowed down would she do it and she agreed (b/c really once I turned around for the metric I'd be alone b/c the 2 Jens would keep going). So I slowed my pace quite a bit b/c she said that her legs were really tight for some reason - the group ride was actually really fast Wednesday night and she kept up - I didn't go. So she can be fast. Then these we met up with these other 2 guys from the cycling club on the way back at another stop (this is where all the food and water is) and they wanted to ride together which was great b/c we picked up our speed. One of them is super fast and around 60. I was doing an inhaler shot b/c the wind had really picked up. He said he wished he had brought his - he does Albuterol too. So I said he could use mine. WELL...NEVER share your meds. About 10 minutes after we got going he said he didn't feel good. His HR spiked and wouldn't go down. So I made him slow down (which was really hard - I kept threatening to grab his seat to slow him down) and we rode slow for about 6 miles and even stopped to see if his HR would go down. It didn't. He finally turned off and went home b/c he lived about 2 miles off the course at that point. I felt TERRIBLE but of course he didn't blame me. I found out later that he went home and went to bed for an hour, his HR went down and he's fine. WHEW! Anyway, I rode the last 10 miles alone (after all that waiting for everybody) as fast as I could but overall the whole ride was much slower than I had planned. But the gal I talked into riding was SO happy she did 62.5 instead of 30. So I feel really good about that. She needed the boost of confidence. Some things are just more important than your time. And Joe didn't die of a heart attack! And I didn't die trying to keep up with Jen and Jen. :)

Suz- Gosh, that all sounds so much fun. Even if things didn't go perfectly. It's that you have all these other people to ride with and that you all have the same passion and you all have something in common, THAT is cool. I'm glad you decided to do it. Oh! Let's hear what you ate at Sin City Grill. Surely you had to have ordered the Smothered chocolate cake with the ice cream and real whip cream? I'm mean, let's get real here.:9 :p

Dallys - Yup, I've met so many great people from the cycling club. Such a great group. There were a lot of us out there today. We all ride on group rides together and a lot of us our friends outside of cycling.

Okay - I didn't have that but I DID have the FATTENING chicken caneloni (or however you spell it). But I could only eat 1/4 of it b/c I ate so much bread!. But not to worry b/c I brought it home and ate the rest later. It was the smaller lunch portion. :) THEN we went to DQ a few hours later and I got a single chocolate dipped cone. Now I would have had one of those fat free fudge bars but DH went in and he said they don't have them anymore??? Hmmm... AND THEN I just had a light beer!!! I am sooooo full right now I feel like I'm going to pop!
