Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Monday Sept 17

This was the first day of my rest but I did abs this evening. I ended up doing Body Max 2 abs. I love that workout. Those side planks are tough but I sure do love them!

Suz - Funny about Aunt Flo not finding you. I see she did, though! LOL!

Anne - Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well and that your internet isn't working well. That sucks. I also hope your hubby is ok. Keep us posted.

Diane Sue - Nice workout, girl!

Diane Sue - thanks for the foot info.....however, I still don't know if I over pronate or not. I wonder if it can hurt to wear the overpronator shoes if you don't overpronate?
 
Okay, today I feel like I kind of don't belong on this board. WD did BOSU Blast, 16 min of extra cardio, two ab segments, AND leg work. Well today I just happened to do BOSU Blast too. However, I only did BOSU blast, Tracey's balance premix from Sculpt Sweatfest, and BOSU Blast's abs. I feel like a total slacker.

WD - when you say you do roll outs with a barbell instead of a ball, do you kneel and roll the bar out, kind of like Amy pushes the discs in the ab segment from APX? In any event, I'm uber impressed by your workout.

Randi - ooh, I like Low Max. Segments 4 and 7 are my faves. How 'bout you?

Lora - I'm in the midwest. The only things that seem to be open or responsive are temp agencies and I just don't know if I want to go that route.

Debbie - enjoy that rest day - you've earned it!

Suz - have fun - I LOVE Imax 2!!

Char - as others have said, good luck dress shopping

Dallys - do you kind of do your own thing for the HIIT portion of TT? Do you ever do, say, Boot Camp cardio only 2x's or Imax 2's blast only premix, or would these not really work with the concept?

Anne - oh my goodness, I'm so glad your husband didn't get seriously injured. Gee, that was a scary post to read.

Lisa - yikes, you do more on your rest days than I do on some of my workout days.

Hey Maniacs!!!

Anyone still up???? lol. Just finished my chest/ab work. I honestly am just too tired for anything else. When I got home from shopping forgot I had to haul off my FIL's trash (stuff we threw out)..took 2 truck loads. Got home made dinner. Daughter announces she is getting tattoo when I walk in the door. So much going on I feel like I live in a nut house world...just spin me around and see where I fall. lol. I just know things will settle down at some point. So guess what???? We sold FIL's house. Two weeks on market and sold already. Gonna have an auction, but since house is sold, gotta haul all stuff back to our home and sell here. Lawd! Talk about more to do???? Pardon me while I SCREAAAAMMMMMM!!!! All good news, but I just can't keep up lately. Well unless some dire tragedy happens tomorrow morning, I plan on being down in the basement on the elliptical, but I also want to work shoulders and back and then off to work.
Someone say Pity Party?????? HA! I will be there with bells on!!!!

ETA: Oh, the dress is gorgeous! Purple and glittery. I took off my bra this evening and found glitter stuck to my girls. lol. Anyhow, I will take a picture tomorrow, IF I HAVE TIME! LMAO!
 
Lora, i looked at that workout in M&F Hers. It did look interesting. As far as shoes I don't know that it would hurt your feet. Mine sure feel better after the switch. I tried to look at my old shoes and couldn't really tell anything by how they are worn or which way they turn. On the other hand I did stand in front of a mirror and tried to look at the back of my heels and the achilles tendon. I do have a curve when it gets to the bottom. I will say I have read so many things on Plantar fasciitis that said people are usually over pronators that have this and that is why I went for it. Plus I was looking for more comfort because the Saucony's were not doing it for me.

Marcia, when I do barbell rollouts in place of ball rollouts it is usually on my knees like Amy and the discs. I do rollouts sometimes on my toes where you go more into a pike and then out. These I have to lower the weight on though. You are definitely not a slacker. Everytime I get to that one interval on Bosu Blast I wonder when it is going to end:) Gets the hr right up there. How did you like the abs on that one? I almost did Sweatfest lower instead of the add on of Push Pull that I did with SS lower. Didn't want to switch dvd's LOL

Charlotte, I bet the dress will look good. Can't wait to see pictures. That is good that you got the house sold that quickly. One less thing to worry about, right:) You will get there.

Char- Hey! YOu still up? It's only 8:00 here, course I'm still up. I'm still watching Alfred Hitchcocks "The Birds" LOL! My, you are one busy girl. Sounds like it's all going to settle soon. Just alittle more and you'll be back to normal...except for the TATOOO! I hope she doesn't do what my DD sister-in-law did and get a full-back tatoo with a girl stabbing a guy to death and the words "Femme Fatale" or whatever splattered across her back. It's the ugliest thing in the WORLD!

Marcia-Don't fret about keeping up with Diane Sue! She's been know to wear a super cape and leap over tall buildings in a single bound.:) I personally have never tried the blasts for HIIT, but for some reason I remember hearing someone tried it and it worked well. I've been following the exact ones in the TT I sent you.

Diane Sue- YOu know the super cape story is true!:) LOL! Anyways, yeah, my legs get burning something fierce on those hills.

Anne- Keep us posted on DH. I'm glad he's ok...but how scary!

Lora- I'm not sure if the TT I gave you is in the E-book you purchase. I can't really compare, because I don't know. All I do know, is that it's working great for me with the time I'm putting into biking. It might not be enough for you as a stand alone program. You could try it for a week and see what you think.
